My husband and I purchased a new Audi Q4 in January of 2024. Our salesperson was Hilbert. We put a $1000 deposit on the car in the fall of 2022, test drove one in January of 2023 and made our selection f 2024. Our salesperson was Hilbert. We put a $1000 deposit on the car in the fall of 2022, test drove one in January of 2023 and made our selection from the options available at that time. As we waited for our car to arrive, Hilbert did not initiate any communication with us or keep us abreast as to the delivery of the car. After prompting, we were told our car would be ready for pick up in October of 2023, only to discover Hilbert did not order the correct upholstery, which we specified clearly to him. We would have to wait another three months! In January of 2024, our car arrived at the dealership for pick up. Two days before delivery, Hilbert informs us that the provincial rebate requires an application process in advance that must be approved. He had 12 months to share this information! One day before pick up, we contacted him regarding accepted method of payment, to discover the dealership only accepted a certified cheque. Again, he had one year to share this information with us and it resulted in a lot of unnecessary stress. Hilbert’s communication was extremely poor. When we reached the dealership, Hilbert’s attitude towards me (the female) was extremely condescending. He walked right by me, without greeting and asked me where my husband was. He had the paperwork made out in my husband’s name only, (even though I was buying this car). Hilbert called me Janet three times and each time I corrected him to say my name was not Janet, but Jeanette. He didn’t seem to care. His social skills and manners were severely lacking. My husband and I felt that Bavinder did an excellent job of describing the features of the new car and setting us up with the Audi App. Lastly, when reviewing the purchasing agreement, we were surprised by a charge called Lifestyle Package, which Hilbert failed to mention in any of our discussion of pricing. This added another $900 to the cost of our car. Well we love our new car, we were extremely disappointed and frustrated by the quality of service that Hilbert provided to us. More
