I have had no issues at any one dealership ever until I engaged with North York Chrysler for my Jeep Wrangler. Living in North York, I had alway’s shopped around for oil change prices due to warranty on my brand new vehicle. Different Dealerships would provide different quotes and prices which can vary from $20-$50 dollars. This dealership, Carhub North York Chrysler (NYC) has been used once in December 15 2021, and once on December 6th 2022. Both times, I have received subpar service to borderline rude. Please read below of my account of the deplorable ‘service’ they provide to customers. Dec 15, 2021 - The service desk does not want to get up and assist you standing their for at least 15 minutes. When service is being done, it took several hours to get an oil change done, with no offer of shuttle, uber, or estimated timeline. I wish I could have recorded the snarky, rude and annoyed tone of the desk. I can see in reviews this is not a one time event, and a common theme here. Dec 6, 2022 - Price shopping for Oil changes, NYC beat out neighbouring dealerships so I happily brought the printed out quote they provided me few days ago, and my vehicle to get an oil change. This time, they offered and provided an Uber shuttle to my home 10 minutes away. During vehicle service, I received yet another text message from (Direct Quote) '[Redacted] - Disel synthetic oil and filter change is approximately $275 + tax….Are we okay to proceed?…Best Wishes, [Redacted]" With the time, dedicated to quoting, booking, and taking a day off for service I had no choice but to accept the quote that went from $289 tax in, to $310. Later that week I received a text from staff from NYC asking for a review based on my satisfaction of service. I reviewed that I am disappointed how pricing can change on a whim, and the rudeness of staff. December 13, 2023 - A week ago I booked a service appointment for my Jeep Wrangler, that was having Death Wobble Issues. at 48’000km’s it was well within Warranty, and again I planned on taking a day off to get this issue rectified, along with a Urgent Vehicle Recall. Online booking through Carhub was successful and I eagerly awaited my appointment as the vehicle was unfit to drive due to mechanical error. Dec 13 2023 - I receive a phone call at 9:11am and a voicemail was left. It was 'staff' advising that ‘ there is no body shop on site so we are unable to provide service to your appointment tomorrow’ Dec 13 2023 - I receive a text message from 'staff' via Carhub NYC at 9:40am (direct Quotation) “...It has come to our attention that on your last visit on December 6th 2022 you indicated displeasure with our services and our service centre team. We can no longer fulfill your vehicle service needs to your satisfaction. Therefore, as of December 13 2023 Carhub cannot retain you as a client. For this reason, we suggest you select another Chrysler service centre to provide vehicle-related services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your business over the past year. We wish you all the best for the future” Dec 13, 2023 - I reply,(direct Quotation) “your telling me this one day before an appointment I made a week ago?…someone to call me please” December 13, 2023 - 'staff' Replies; (direct Quotation) “We have been trying to reach you by phone and let voicemail” I immediately called back to speak about this issue, and was advised that she was just passing the message and a manager will call me. On December 13 2023 - Manager Team calls and advises, amongst other things, ‘I read your feedback….and we have a right to choose our customers.” Incredibly disheartening, disbelief, and shame on your service and how you dealt with the your customer service. Do not ask for feedback via a survey to assist you in correcting your own shortcomings during service, and use that as a means to deny service to customers that purchased your brand, under warranty. I will never recommend your Dealership.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. From their rude Auto Service secretary, Tammy, to their dizzyingly incompetent mechanics, there are no obvious redeeming qualities at this Auto shop. I came in about my windows. They fixed one and didnt touch the rest and gave me a bill of over 500. I complain and I'm asked back and charged AGAIN $316 for their dianostic work and labour which should have been done during the FIRST diagnostic work if they had any semblance of a sequence of operation. AND they left me with a window that is worse now than before and not even road safe! Find an honest mechanic in your neighbourhood! NEVER AGAIN.

I took my 20 year old Camaro into OMS for a check over, oil and lube. Techs also identified some "green" wire issues with turn signals. Over and above type of response from OMS. Thought I'd just get the in and out quicky job, but this was not the case. Front desk told me of the wire issues and "would it be OK to take a bit more time to check it out?" Better than expected service. Bt the way Durham Dodge Sucks and has Big Attitude concerns. Will never go there again. Ever. A1 experience at OMS.

Hi, I had my 2017 BMW X5 towed to otto's due to a flat tire. The car has sat there outside for two days. The service department tells me they would call back yet they never do. After being on hold and transfer 3 times finally someone told me that they still don't know and they will call me back. The next day I was told that it would be in to take a look at in the morning. Once again I called back at 12 and they told me the representatives are very busy and they will call me back. Few hours later the place is closed and no call back. The tow truck driver told me that he could have a shop fix my nail in my tire for 24$ in 40 min. Since the car was new I decided to send it to Otto's not only are they going to charge me 60$ (this is outrageous when every other shop flat tire rate is between 20-30$) but now they think because the car has sat in that position for so long that the tire might not be repairable. This is my 4th BMW and my first one was purchased at OTTO's and I had a terrible service experience and left to buy my other 2 from ELite. I gave Otto's another chance since it has been 10 years and the sales rep was really good. Unfortunately I still see that they have not gotten their act together.

Everytime I've had an issue with my vehicle, John is always there to save the day. He's knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and professional. I've owned several other brands and been to many dealerships. Never have I met someone like john. This guy knows the brand like its the back of his hand. He always makes sure I.m taken care of. I've seen him deal with the most difficult of people and still maintain his composure where I wouldn't. He's truly an asset to the team and anyone that has an "issue" with him is clearly mistaken. Even my wife will only deal with him. Seeing a solid brand, and a personable person behind the counter, is why I bought from this dealership twice now. I'm confident my cars are in good hands when I give him my keys and I know I'll always get it back in tip top shape. We need more people like him. Truly thankful they have someone like him on the team!
