Made an appointment for my truck with a detailed description about the issue ,and the things I have had done to try to correct the problem. I was assured by Fraser Ford they would spend the almost 2 hours I paid for to find the problem. They spent 10 min instead and assured me they had found the problem. To make a long story short, I paid a big bill and not only was the problem never fixed, they also caused me more problems with very poor workmanship. We went back 3 times to test drive with the manager to show the problem that was caused. It was shocking that I had to act as the mechanic. I would not recommend taking any vehicle there. The truth is they are not honest, and not knowledgeable .

⭐ 1-Star Review DO NOT BUY FROM FROST CADILLAC BRAMPTON OR GM IN GENERAL. I bought a Cadillac XT6 in 2020 from Frost Cadillac Brampton, and it has been a complete nightmare. After only 50,000 km, I was driving on Highway 410 when the car suddenly shut down in the middle of the road. The power steering locked, and I barely managed to save my life by getting to the emergency lane. I called Cadillac support — they said a tow truck would contact me. The towing company called and told me it would take 3 hours to arrive. Meanwhile, my dashboard was showing all kinds of errors — “hood open,” “key not detected,” etc. I tried to restart the car 5–7 times before it finally started. I took the next exit, but then the wipers went off on their own, the horn started blaring, and windshield washer fluid sprayed everywhere. The car was making loud noises. I somehow made it to Frost Cadillac, where people were literally laughing at the condition of my vehicle. I told them I could have died, and they casually said they’d check it. They told me everything was “fine” and sent me back on the road. But the same issue came up again. I returned, and only then did they say the BCM (Body Control Module) was faulty and would take two weeks to arrive from the USA. After getting it fixed, I drove another 20,000 km and the same problem happened again — this time in Windsor. Again, two weeks for repairs. Now for the third time, the issue came up while I was in New York. I called the nearest Cadillac dealership — they refused to help and said they were fully booked for 3 weeks. They told me to call the original dealer. I contacted Frost Cadillac, and they rudely said, “Call GM or tow your car to Canada — we can’t help you.” No support, no courtesy. These people at Frost Cadillac only treat you nicely when you’re buying the car. After that, they don’t care about you or your safety. Now I’m stuck in New York relying on a local mechanic because GM and Cadillac have completely abandoned me. Please, buy at your own risk. I will NEVER buy a GM vehicle again — especially not from Frost Cadillac Brampton.

Went on line to book an appointment for an oil change and was confirmed for 930. At 1130 went to pick up my vehicle and was informed that it was the next vehicle to go into the shop. 2 hours later and still no oil change. When I got home, there was an e-mail saying that Galt Chrysler removed my e-mail address from their system. EXCELLENT customer service NOT.

After going to local service people , getting ripped off repeatedly with poor repair , I now only go to GD Coates even tho they are far from me . Many issues with maintenance. Mainly Jen at the counter. Very rude and had issues on 6 specific occasions where things were forgotten, parts on my vehicle were broken and when identified they didnt want to own up to breaking the part. In another instance dismissed me when I indicated that there was a fix for a USB port that I found on line. Told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. I ended up going to see the parts counter where they found the part for me.

They called me about a couple recalls, set me up for Saturday 8 am. I rearrange my schedule to make it work, arrange for a ride home while work being done. I live 45 minutes away round trip. I arrive and am told that I’m not in the schedule and that they don’t do recall work on Saturdays. I explain to the miserable old guy in service that his people CALLED ME and arranged this. He just shrugs his shoulders aka I don’t care. I find the lady that called me, she admits that she scheduled my appointment but can’t even seem to find the words to say ‘sorry’. Another shoulder shrug. I ask for a manager, she tells me the miserable old guy is ‘basically’ the manager today. This is not the first time I’ve had a negative experience here with the service department, however it will be the last. I will never darken another doorway at Georgetown Chrysler Ram.

This my first review after many years. I have bought a second owner vehicle from them several years ago and only later became aware the car had been lowered by the original owner, which was not disclosed when I purchased it. A little deceptive! That became a maintenance problem and also a problem when I resold it.... Just recently after a routine oil changes, the next day my blower motor was making a noise. Apparently, they removed my interior air filter to inspect it and allowed whatever was on it to drop down into the blower, as well as I soon found out, they left the remaining leaf on top of the filter. Not very courteous! As much as they had the right to inspect it, they created a problem, that I am stuck with. But for about $70 I'm told, they can clean it. Wonderful client service...FYI.. Honda has other locations! Just an update...it's been about a week and as of today I have not received a formal response from Honda Canada or Honda Georgetown. Since the problem was created I've avoided using my fan which is another inconvenience. After having owned as many as 8 Honda vehicles from other dealerships and one used Accura from Georgetown, as well as more oil changes than I can remember, I would expect a better outcome...

Had a problem with the vehicle not shutting down. Called service and got flipped to voice mail and left a message. Waited an hour or more before calling again and was directed to voice mail. Called the reception who promised to connect me to service.Called twice more to reception. Again, landed in voice mail xxxx. They came and grabbed the car without speaking to me. I was in my parking lot arguing with the tow truck driver telling him not to take the car. The guy looked like some wanna be biker from Quebec. He told me that the car was going. I am 69 years old with medical problems. What am I to do, start a fight. I gave up arguing with Georgetown Toyota acquiescing to their strong- arm tactics. This was followed by them treating me like a child and telling me what I am going do. The last contact with the service department I was told they are going to deliver the car to my ex-wife's house. Not asked but told. After more than a decade of dealing with Georgetown and at least 12 cars purchase through them, I was treated shamefully. Worse, my family has dealt with the Woods since the 1970's when, and I forgave them, for selling my mother an occasionally rolling piece of scrapped called a Cortina. I had dealt with the current dealer's father, Jack Woods in the late 90's. Things have changed. They charged me about $1200 for a TAG which another dealership in the Humberview Group charges 599.00. I suspect this review will disappear.

Worst dealer around.... 2 year old car that won't take gasoline. Takes 20 mins to put in $20 dollars of gas. Dealer says its my fault because I overfilled it. Won't cover it under warranty. Want $2000 to fix !!!! Don't go to this dealer and stay away from VW garbage. What kind of car won't take gas ??? I've owned 2 Jettas and they were both junk.

My husband and I have been loyal GM customers since 1970. After more than 40 years at the same dealership, we moved to Barrie and chose to become customers of Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC. It’s been a good choice from Day1. I consistently experience competence, care and courtesy from every staff member in all departments. Everyone’s experience is different. Sometimes things aren’t exactly as we would like. Sometimes our expectations are unachievable. Sometimes errors happen, and sometimes people do their very best. My recent experience at Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC demonstrates people doing their best. No matter how well we plan, ‘life can often alter our plans’. On July 15, 2022, a vehicle collision altered my plans- for that weekend, and the five months to follow. My vehicle was towed from St. Thomas, ON to Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC. On Monday, July 18, Laura was ‘on it’. Damages were being assessed and parts were ordered. No one could have anticipated that “supply chain issues” would delay completion of the work until Dec.20. It’s been said that, “How you handle a crisis is a test of your character.” The manner in which my ‘crisis’ was managed speaks volumes about the character of the staff at Georgian. Laura, in service, played a key role in overseeing the repairs to my car, and handling unpleasant calls from a very unreasonable insurance adjuster. She did not allow this negative pressure to affect her decision-making process. Her integrity protected my interests. The progress reports she gave me every week, during the entire 5 months, gave me the confidence and peace of mind I needed. Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC has earned my respect and loyalty. Why would I consider trading such a ‘sweet ride’?

My Pontiac vibe was shifting just a touch late from 1st gear into second. No big deal, I'll just bring it in to the professionals that know my car best. After a week the car still shifted late but now it was leaking fluid too. I spent $2000 and basically had the manager mocking the car I purchased shrugging his shoulders and saying well, what are you gonna do. GM head office was no help. I had an independent shop repair the car. They brought to my attention that the dealer also bent an axle while "repairing" my car. Nice job Giles! To bad you will never get any more of my money and GM won't either. No wonder you are in such financial troubles.
