Had a newer car in warranty that would not start. Service department wanted to charge me to diagnose the problem for an in warranty car that wouldn't start! I don't imagine this is what Kia wants to build their reputation! Go anywhere else. Amateur hour.

I have owned 3 different Mazdas and they were all purchased at Bank Street Mazda. The service department at this dealership is excellent bar none. The Service Manager - John Dustan - always makes it a point to make sure the customer is satisfied. The Service Advisors I've dealt with over the years have extensive knowledge and experience with Mazda products. Marcel Faucher, Brian Joiner, Christopher Nolan and Robb listen to the customers' concerns and issues. I wouldn't take my Mazda anywhere else. It's very reassuring to know that the Service Department at Bank Street Mazda competently and effectively completes any repairs or work orders on my vehicles. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

My car's a/c is not working book me in 2 weeks later . Keep my car for 2 days no one contact me. Called on the first day 4pm answer is someone will call me back but no one call back. Called on second day 4pm tell me my car is ready. When I pick up my car the staff just give me back my car key not one word what work has been done. After I found out my car's a/c still not working. Good job Barrie Honda. Of course I know you don't care because you are the only dealership in that area.

So poor customer service, communication about my progress on my car was poor. After making endless calls after waiting for almost 2 months, I was told that my ford engine has to be replaced which I understood. Worst part, my car got broken into on their lot but I had to fix it. If they had attended to my car in time, all this wouldn't have happened. I can NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership As for FORD, I'm sorry I can buy your cars again!

I am absolutely livid with my experience at Mitsubishi, and specifically with the manager Niculae Raiciu, who sold me an "Platinum shield protection plan." I was promised that this plan would cover a wide range of issues and give me peace of mind with my purchase. Turns out, his promises don’t match the agreement that you signed. I was assured that the protection plan would take care of everything from A to Z, but when it came time to use it, I was left with nothing. It’s a complete joke! When I brought up the issues with my vehicle, the protection plan was practically useless. The manager flat-out lied about what the coverage would entail and now I’m stuck with costly repairs that I was told would be covered. He was incredibly pushy during the sale and kept assuring me that this was the best option for peace of mind, but now it feels like I’ve been completely scammed. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this protection plan — and especially avoid dealing with this dishonest manager. He clearly does not care about customer satisfaction, only pushing extra products that don’t do what they’re promised to do. Worst purchase experience I’ve ever had!

Worst experience in over 40 years for service, service repair and warranty work. Sales Lady was excellent. Any issues after the sale; GOOD LUCK, you are on your own! Hindsight - buy in Newmarket, Orillia or Midland. There is no rating low enough on your form. Beth the sales person is the only good thing about this dealership. You could buy from Beth, BUT, do not take your car here for service.

In June 2021, I gave this service department 1 star for a terrible service experience. BUT - today I went in for an intermittent issue with an indicator light. They have definitely upped their game and spent time on the car. In the end, it was really my issue as I had installed an aftermarket wind mirror and it leaks - causing an electrical short. They reviewed the situation and provided excellent feedback and they were 'generous' with the pricing for the time taken. Much appreciated - hope to use them in the future.

My wife and relocated to Guelph recently and one of our concerns was getting our vehicle serviced. Our plan was to visit a few locations and interview the service teams. Our first and last stop was Barry Cullen. This was due solely to meeting with Jacques Boily. He was/is very pleasant to deal with and explains the required service fully and so far we have never been disappointed. Our concerns about having to leave our dealership in Brampton were completely removed. Barry Cullen is now our preferred dealership mainly due to Jacques Boily. Overall we have had very positive interaction with the service department.

A few years ago we moved from Waterloo, ON where we had excellent service on our two cars, a Mazda 6 and a 3. Unfortunately after our move we had some back experiences with the service at Bay Mazda and had focussed our buying power elsewhere, but recently due to a safety recall and five years passing we tried dealing with them again and recieved fantastic treatment. The service manager, Mike, went far out of his way (literally) to regain our confidence. Looks like our next car will be bought at Bay Mazda!!

My 2015 Grand Cherokee Overland’s air suspension seemed to be acting up.. Dash warning said it needed immediate service. I’d read many nightmare stories of dealerships charging thousands for this issue, which can be complicated given all the parts in the system, Bayside checked it thoroughly and deemed it ok, finding only a code indicating the compressor had overheated in the past. The honest mechanic cleared the code, and—get this—charged me only a half hour labour. Total cost $73.45. Everyone at this service department is wonderful—friendly, down to earth, and above all trustworthy. Absolutely recommended!

Terrible service and no ownership of mistake. - Canada1970

Terrible service! Purchased a Buick Verano from another dealer and took car in with oil consumption problem while covered under warrantee. Found out there was a bulletin from General Motors describing that exact problem and recommending an oil drip test then a piston and ring replacement if necessary. Dealer changed the oil and did not complete test. Bayview said there was no bulletin. Told by the mechanic to monitor oil consumption. Took car back in after problem continued and was told the warrantee was three weeks expired therefore we were liable for cost of piston and ring replacement. Called General Motors and they claim dealership is claiming that they did not service or diagnosis problem. Since we did not have to pay for the oil change there was no paper trail regarding the problem before warrantee ended. Bayview refused to admit we did make an appointment and car was seen regarding the concern. Now they want us to pay for a drip test, piston and rings exactly what the bulletin recommended. Completely unethical.

Great service! Sometimes it’s the little things that count, like replacing the battery in the key fob for free, having water bottles available, shuttle service drop off and pick up or letting us know about recalls and updates. We felt well looked after by Terry, who was very helpful and friendly.

I have had to bring my Jeep Grand Cherokee in several times for recalls. The last recall was a relay pump. They really missed up the sensors. I could not get my gas tank to open then a few days later I lost power steering on the 401. Of coarse I had to take it back several times. They charge close to 130.00 an hour. Very poor service and they have mostly people being trained to be a mechanic. The owner would not take responsibility. At one time during arguing with me he stated " You listen to me young lady". Very rude.

My muffler was making a clanging noise after a trailer hitch was installed, at another business, when I was out-of-town.. I wasn't worried about this problem, because I had an appointment for routine maintenance of my car only a few weeks later at Bel-Air Toyota. I had the mechanic, at Bel-Air Toyota, inspect my muffler to see what the problem was and how it could be fixed. Their mechanic told me, "It would take an hour to fix the problem." Their Service Advisor said, "The cost would be $65.00 to $135.00." When I asked if the cost could be kept down their mechanic said, "Get the right trailer hitch. Fix the problem yourself! Go to a welding shop. Part of the hitch has to be cut. We don't have torches here!" I was very upset upon leaving Bel-Air Toyota, because their service advisor and mechanic were both rude and disrespectful to me. After leaving Bel-Air Toyota, I drove right to a muffler shop, where the mechanic added four spacers (two per bolt) to the muffler mounting bracket. It took only about one minute. With a smile on his face the manager said to me, "There's no charge. We are happy to do it!" I have now driven my car a few thousand kilometers and the muffler is no longer hitting the recently installed trailer hitch. I purchased my car new at Bel-Air Toyota less than one year before this incident and no longer trust their service. Also, I feel their staff is unprofessional and are only concerned about making as much money as possible by taking advantage from unsuspecting customers. You have now been warned about how Bel-Air Toyota service staff treats their customers.
