Motor blew in my 2017 Tucson with only 80,000km on it. Brought it to the dealership to find that there was a recall in 2021 that I was not aware of. It took over 10 days for them to look at the vehicle, made me collect every oil change receipt for them to say I did not maintain my vehicle. after 13 days they submitted their findings to Hyundai Canada, who then denied the recall claim. Shame on you Superior Hyundai and Hyundai Canada. This is a problem caused by your manufacturer on your motor. There was a recall that you will not go good for. After owning 3 Hyundai vehicles, I will never purchase another, nor will I ever recommend a Hyundai vehicle. Not to mention Superior Hundai also attempted to make me purchase 4 new tires for an all wheel drive vehicle I don’t even own. I may be a female but be assured I am not stupid.

Service department used to be good, now that there’s a been a turnover of staff it’s horrible. Can’t get a hold of them, was treated very rudely when I did. Was great last year with the 3 women there but it’s gone downhill since.

Horrible Experience at RICHMONDHILL MAZDA DEALERSHIP. Terrible service. Shop Forman was not friendly and argued loudly in front of other people at the front desk over a brake job they did a while ago that didn’t go very well! Service manager won’t take your call. I called 3 or 4 times, every time the receptionist said he’s not there or he just stepped out. I took my car To another dealer and my issue was solved right away. I would stay away from RICHMONDHILL MAZDA.

I have been a loyal McAlpine Ford Customer for over 25 years purchasing new vehicles and regularly servicing them at this location. Today I took my 2016 Explorer in for a routine safety check. I was told that the tires would require replacement within a few months but that everything else was in great shape so we were good to head out on a road trip. I drove the vehicle 10 minutes up the road to my office and parked it. I did not hit a single bump on the way. An hour later I started the vehicle and clearly there was a muffler malfunction. I returned immediately to the dealership assuming that something had been dislodged in the course of their inspection. I was told that the flex pipe needed to be replaced. The service man insisted that it could not have anything to do with the service provided. It is very curious that I have never had ANY indication of muffler malfunction. It is also curious that if the flex pipe were 10 minutes away from complete malfunction that whoever had the car on the hoist would have cleared the vehicle for a road trip. I suppose such coincidences are possible, but I find it hard to believe that the exhaust was not impacted in some way during the course of the inspection. I will not be returning to McAlpine Ford for service or to purchase my next vehicle. So ends my 25 year association with this dealership.

I came to the dealership on the way to Michigan for a tire repair. Pete got me in for service extremely quick. As I was waiting for my truck I ran into Jay. We chatted and and he asked if I wanted to trade my truck in. I said I had not planned on it. But low and be hold he put together a deal I could not refuse. So the story goes,You go in for a leaky tire and come out with a new vehicle.Would you not want to deal with a dealership that treats you like you are almost family.

No body is maintaining this site, things are worse! Very good at padding the bill for small things, like washer fluid shop supplies, environmental, shop misc. Not so good at determining faults or recognizing when brakes are worn to the steel backer. Cant find holes in exhaust system too well without selling manifold studs and gaskets, can't see much reason to replace screws and push pins on inner fenders after replacing studs and gaskets. Very dealership installed, dealer installed skid plates on dodge ram, after exaust work skid plate absent, when originally fitted the bolts didn't line up with holes, so the plate was troublesome, too troublesome later, left on shop floor then the scrap bin. Can't secure tailpipes to mufflers real good, can't recognize when a tailpipe hanging straight down might be troublesome, when brought to attention, supposed remedy yields no result and tailpipe falls off in 40 km. Does nobody know how to use an exaust pipe expander to make a new solid connection? Its a cheap tool, it's a shop! Can test and test defective battery on warranty until owner is off warranty and has to buy battery and change very expensive starting motor prematurely. Can't determine defective bearing from defective shiny new front brake rotors real good either, tossing hundreds of dollars of owners parts in the scrap, no one can use a dial indicator on rotor to determine warped or not? Again it's, a.cheap tool, it's a shop! why charge misc if it's not to maintain tools? Can't reset the steering reference after changing rack and pinion real good either so you can't see high beam indicator driving straight down the road, spoke in the way, you have to back out of the shop, you test drive, you can't find it awkward to not see the instrument cluster?. The only thing you could say is the dealership in Kenora is worse. The vehicles drive easy, easy on gas, but, fixing, very very challenging! Too many return trips!

Denial, don't want to take responsibility! I took my vehicle last July 3, 2021 for oil change, tire rotation and replace differential fluid services. My vehicle was in the shop pretty fast but it took over three hours wait. I noticed it was on the hoist and also on the ground for a long time. When I got my vehicle, I noticed the deep scratches on the lower right corner of my Entune/Navigation System bezel and one of its buttons near the said area. There was a poorly done touch-up to cover it up too. My wife and I didn't see these damages anytime prior to the said service appointment. I spoke to the Senior Service Team Leader and eventually to the Senior Store Team Leader and got nothing but denials. The Senior Store Team Leader just kept telling me that he'll talk to the service technician. Until now, I have not receive a phone call about this issue. They were even telling me scenarios how it possibly happened but I know its full of BS because I know my vehicle and I take care of it well which one of the reasons why I take it to Toyota dealer for any services even though they charge more. I have received my vehicle from previous services from them with grease in the door handles (outside and inside) and other areas of the vehicle but I just cleaned it myself. However, this damage is not acceptable. I would attach photos of the damage but this site doesn't have that feature.

This is an e-mail we sent to Peter (Service Manager) and Fatema (General Manager). We are sending you this e-mail because of a number of unsatisfactory reasons, I personally called you (Peter) yesterday and advised you that I would come in today to see you and figure out what occurred with the misdiagnosis of the C43. I left the dealership right after you said you would investigate the matter and call me back. Instead, you have Faith text me, not even call, and deliver your message, absolutely unexpectable from a customer service perspective. As already mentioned, we spent $5200.00 to have the noise repaired and we still had the same noise after the repairs. When I drove with Wayne, Shop Foreman, before we even left the parking lot he stated, “I hear the noise from the rear tires”. Instead, I received a text message previously basically telling me it’s my front bearings and steering wheel spring link which is making noise when the vehicle turns, as mentioned, I never heard any noise when turning prior to leaving the vehicle with you. I asked again, how bad was the bearings that we had to spend $5200.00? I was told that I would receive a picture of the bent front rim, never received it and it’s not in your final report/receipt. I did see the bent rim today and thank you for that. Can you show me a video that I required the bearings/steering wheel spring? Just in this last month we have spent several thousands of dollars and still had the same noise. For Wayne to immediately identify that it was the rear tires, we would have preferred to pay for two new tires than $5200.00 and have the same noise. Too offer to pay for the bent rim makes no sense, that is not the cause of the noise, it’s the two rear tires which if this was diagnosed properly we wouldn’t be out $5200.00. I have no issue paying the rim, we need to address the $5200.00 and why Wayne was able to pinpoint the issue. Another issue that we have is that we left the dealership with the 550 two weeks ago, where we picked it up and brought it back within 30 minutes as it had the same shake, paid for the service with the same issues. The shaking is not consistent, could this be part of the braking system, something sticking? Overall, we would like this matter taken seriously, “Quality and luxury, our passion”, we not feeling the passion in the service.
