Just a heads-up to anyone thinking of taking their vehicle to Downtown Audi: I ended up spending nearly $2,300 on what should have been a fairly minor service and some exploratory diagnostics—only to be told I’d need over $5,000 more in repairs, with still no clear answer on what the actual problem was. I brought my Audi SQ5 in after getting an “air suspension malfunction” warning. I paid $220 for a diagnostic, expecting some insight—but they couldn’t tell me what was wrong. I didn’t even get an update until late in the day. They suggested replacing the battery and checking the wiring, which I agreed to, hoping it would finally get to the root of the issue. It didn’t. Days later, I was told they still didn’t know what was causing the problem but wanted thousands more to replace a wiring harness. At no point was there a confident diagnosis—just more guessing. What really pushed me over the edge was the lack of support and transparency. I wasn’t offered a courtesy vehicle and had to chase down basic updates. When I asked for copies of my personal information—including any call recordings—they flat-out refused, even though I never gave consent to be recorded in the first place. (For anyone reading this: you do have the right to request this under Canadian privacy law, PIPEDA.) I’ve had other frustrating experiences here before, but this one sealed it. I’m taking my car elsewhere—and I strongly suggest you think twice before trusting this dealership with yours. You deserve honesty, real answers, and to feel like your time and money matter. Sadly, I didn’t get any of that here

This dealership has the worse after sales service. Never have loaners for urgent matters and can never have urgent appointment for safety concern situation like no heat in freezing temperatures right now.... I would have to wait more than a month to be seen plus would not have a loaner but see ford does have urgent appointment and loaners and they don't treat people like Audi does

Disappointing Service Experience I've been bringing my car here for service over the past five years, and unfortunately, the experience has been consistently frustrating. Despite having an appointment, I always end up waiting at least two days for the service to be completed. The response is always the same: "Our shop is very busy today." This seems to be a recurring issue, not just a one-time occurrence. Perhaps it's time for the dealership to align their service capacity with the volume of vehicles they sell. Customers deserve timely and reliable service—especially when appointments are scheduled in advance.

I have nothing against the employees over at Audi Niagara. But what a disaster, I had my vehicle towed over to them after a transmission failure. And of course everything was going normally. Had to wait for warranty to be approved on the work that had to be done to the car, which I had no problem with. At this time I was told that the ETA on my vehicle getting worked on was at the end of July to the first week of August. No biggie again, I’ll wait. So I wait, and I wait, get no call at the last week of July. So I decided maybe I should call and do a follow up. Come to my surprise that the replacement parts have been delayed and are still in Germany, which I thought okay. Normal thing, the world is hurting right now. And I was told to wait within the next few weeks. So I do, and I had a representative show up for me while I was away to just speak with them and get more information. They told my representative that I should be expecting the car to be worked on and done on the 28th of September. Skip to Monday the 19th of September and I call to follow up. The service assistant manager, whose name I won’t mention. Told me that we were waiting on a final part. The Mechatronic, I was told that the part was nearing Toronto or has already reached the port and should be coming within the next week or so. Now this week, I call on Monday again for another follow up, and they told me they would call me back after they get some more information, I was like odd but okay. And this morning on Tuesday, I wake up to a call and I’m being told that I will now have to wait until the end of November for my car back? But this time it wasn’t the mechatronic. Apparently they don’t have the complete transmission either. Their blame was on the hurricanes happening out on the east coast. Yea I get it causes delays, but wasn’t I just told that the part was nearing Toronto or already at port? Lots of lies are going around and it’s a very sketchy experience. I was given a rental. But had to pay 180 for two days after a week. Talk abt taking care of your customers 🙄 it’s absolutely absurd that something like this would take 5 months. My car is not rare and neither is my transmission. In fact my car is 7 years old still covered with warranty. Multiple people stand behind me in this, and it’s just not right. 2 complaints to Audi Canada, and I’m still getting pushed back further and further. What’s next, because of the winter storms I’ll be getting my car in summer 2023? Where does the line get drawn?

I would just like to thank Audi Mississauga for the $630.00 charge to my credit card for the rental car I wasn’t enough that my Audi certified pre owned vehicle needed a new engine after only 3 weeks, I had to pay for a rental on top of it. Thank you for buying Audi.. Lesson learned.

One of the worst dealerships around. They charge $2.50 for windshield wiper fluid when it’s not asked for, as well as cabin fluid. The dealership notes that this part of their standard policy to charge these extras without telling customers. Don’t purchase or service your vehicle at this dealership.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Audi Uptown’s service department. I brought my 2022 Audi Q5 for a check on Friday due to a low tire pressure warning. The service advisor, Wendy SIN, claimed additional repairs were necessary, totalling $2,120, which included: Brake pads: $1,100 Wheel alignment: $900 Tire repair (patch tire): $120 My extended warranty allegedly did not cover these repairs, even though my car had just completed its annual maintenance in June this year. These prices seemed highly unreasonable, especially since my car had recently undergone annual maintenance in June. I was shocked by the estimate and called to stop the repairs. However, Wendy informed me that the work had already started, and I would need to pay part of the cost regardless. During my Saturday visit, Wendy inaccurately recorded that I had damaged my car, which is untrue. I emailed Wendy and her manager to prove this claim and correct this record but have not received a response. Wendy later displayed two pictures of the replaced parts, claiming they were abnormal, yet provided no evidence to support the damage claim. When I picked up my car on Monday, I discovered discrepancies in my service record. Wendy had noted that I had damaged my car, which was false. Wendy had also added a note to page 1 of the service form without my knowledge or consent. When I asked her about it, she pointed to my signature on page 2, implying I had authorized it—which felt very misleading and unethical. Additionally, when I questioned why the repairs weren’t covered under my extended warranty, Wendy claimed she needed time to “study” the warranty. I waited for over an hour at the shop, only to be told I’d been given a discount after she discussed it with her manager. Ultimately, I was charged $1,780 despite not receiving a proper breakdown of why my warranty did not cover the repairs. However, I didn’t want a discount — I wanted a clear explanation of why these repairs were necessary and not covered. To make matters worse, Wendy later admitted that the team shares bonuses or commissions on repairs. However, there is no visible sign disclosing this, which I believe is required under the Consumer Protection Act. This whole experience felt like a trap. I regret not checking the reviews earlier and strongly advise anyone going to Audi Uptown to be cautious. Ask for clear documentation and detailed cost estimates in writing, and ensure you fully understand the work before authorizing anything.

Communicated in real-time regarding the issue(s) required to rectify my concern to get me back on the road. Will refer friends and return in the future.

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership.Ive been a long time customer and the car I'm driving currently is my fourth Honda( my previous review said fifth,whoops) Thank you Curtis for helping me out a few weeks ago when you really weren't obligated to do so,you're the best! I find the staff to be friendly,helpful,honest,and they know their stuff.In all the years that I've been going to this dealership I can't remember having any problems or being disappointed with the service.Keep up the good work and Thank you for the fifteen years of great service😊

Service at Autohouse Mazda (Sarnia) has been easy and the show room staff are helpful. I actually use them more for parts for my restoration and they've been great to deal with.

Treated like a second class citizen. - Disappointed

First and Foremost, The sales department has always been extremely friendly, flexible, kind and helpful. The purchase of my vehicles here has always been a great experience. Whereas, my experiences with the Service Department has been an entirely different. Rude and condescending. They treat you like a second class citizen, like you are an inconvenience. 1. Told me to “take a bus” when I brought my car in for recall and warranty work and had no transportation, I should note I live 45 min away from my dealership and a bus was not an option for me. I ended up renting a UHaul van as a last resort as all other rental car locations in my city were closed for the evening. After doing some digging, I found out that I infact DO have rental coverage for this type of service visit with my 5 star extended warranty. This experience left me stranded in their parking lot scrambling to find transportation. I was very offended by their cold treatment. 2. Called to make an appointment to get my car looked at as it was acting up and I was getting close to the end of my warranty mileage — was told that they “don’t really have the time to look at my car unless it’s an emergency as they had a lot of cars in getting tires changes due to the the change of season, and that they would NOT give it a onceover to check to see if any other warranty covered work was needed other than the issue I reported” I should note: I am not a mechanic and would really have no idea if other parts of my car were acting up unless it was glaringly obvious. I was trying to be proactive. Due to their poor attitude I decided to drive my car 2 hours to the next nearest VW for the service needed rather than deal with North Bay VW. Note: The service department I ended up dealing with out of town were kind and helpful, no questions asked. 3. Towed my car in due to mechanical breakdown. Ended up becoming very sick the next day and was taken to hospital. I spoke to the service department while waiting for the doctor and found out the issue and gave the go ahead to do the work. The next day (Friday) heard nothing from them. I was still very ill and had a friend call in end of day (4:15pm) and check on the status of my vehicle. To my surprise it had been ready and yet the service department did not contact me. I ended up having to go back to the hospital and had of I not called to inquire I would have had to go by ambulance. I love my VW. Best car I’ve ever owned - thankfully I’ve only needed to contact service a handful of times since becoming a VW customer 8 years ago. Sadly, although I’ve had a wonderful experience with my sales guy and I love my Jetta I WILL NOT purchase another vehicle from my local dealership. I will drive 2 hours out of my way instead next year when I purchase my new VW.
