My First Ford - newescape
Yesterday I picked up my new 2017 Ford Escape at Cabot Ford and I must say my whole experience there was very positive. Everyone at Cabot Ford was very friendly and my salesman Carl Kavanagh was the best. He was knowledgeable about all the options on the vehicles I looked at and patiently explained those features without being pushy. Then on delivery, he came out in the rain to show my husband and me how to use all the gadgets on my new vehicle giving us time to understand and practice using them, sometimes showing us over again. We are senior citizens so need more time to understand all of this. Thank you Carl for such excellent service and thank you to all the people at Cabot Ford who made this big purchase pleasant.
Henry Ford would be rolling in his grave - Never again
I purchased a 2012 f150 , had a weird noise in rear end. I brought it back and mechanic said it was nothing, but it was. The driveshaft needed replacement. They fixed it. But still the noise remained. I brought it back and they said once again nothing. Until it became unsafe to drive. I'm not stupid and I am very mechanically inclined, I know when somthing is wrong. Any how it is in for repair. They give me a small car as a loaner. And I mean small. So small I had to throw my luggage away when I landed at the airport, because there was no room my family does not fit in the car!!! So I asked for a truck, I bought a truck! I want a truck. I need a truck I'm 6 and a half feet tall. They tell me they have no trucks to loan and they can't afford to rent one for me. So today I'm going moose hunting with my quad on the roof of a small car. This service is BS!!!!
Lied to my wife - Brad12345
Brought my wife's car to the service centre in Marystown cause it would not start. Made an appointment for 3 weeks after but left the car at the dealer incase they had an opening. 3 weeks passed and so did the appointment and never heard anything. So another week passed and my wife decided to call and check on her car. The service guy lied to her and told her the car was in the garage that day and moved back outside because something came up. I went to the dealer to check on the car and it was not moved from where I left it. We decided to leave it for another week, but still nothing. The car wasn't moved from where I put it. I had the car towed to a dealer in St. John's, which is 3 hours away. They put it in the garage immediately and in 4 hours had the problem solved. 2 weeks later I got a call from the Marystown dealer saying that we owe them for a bill. The service is absolutely non existent and they wanted to charge us for nothing.
