New Car - Angel
This was my first experience buying a new car. Rod Bell made it a very pleasant experience. I told him what I needed, any extras that would be nice etc, and he help me find a vehicle that suited me and fit into my budget. Although the whole process took more hours than I thought, I was able to drive away in my new vehicle the same day!
Thank you Rod Bell, Andre Clarke, Matt Henry and Stan Waite, for working as a great team. Very friendly and ready to make car buying a very positive experience.
"GREAT EXPERIENCE" - Jack & Jill
We did not anticipate enjoying the purchasing process but it ended up being a ‘GREAT EXPERIENCE’ thanks to Jason Vega.
We were greeted by Jason with a warm friendly smile and welcoming handshake. We were offered a much needed hot drink on a cold winter day.
Jason Vega, with his extensive knowledge on vehicles, vehicle options, and warranties, is a true professional. He made this a pleasurable car buying experience.
We had an idea of the options we wanted and Jason took the time to find the vehicle that fit our needs. He asked intelligent questions, and answered our questions. His self confidence and knowledge proved he is a caring person with integrity. Our trust in him and the Waverley Chrysler dealership was easily won over.
There was no pressure to buy on our first visit, we felt very comfortable and at ease. The price was clearly stated when we decided on our vehicle, and the available options and warranty choices were explained, as was financing.
We entered Waverley Chrysler doors with dread and great trepidation. Our previous dealings at another Chrysler dealership was pure ‘xxxx’. This all vanished once sitting down and discussing our car needs with Jason.
The support team behind Jason at Waverley Chrysler was fantastic. Mike and Cheryle in financing explained details and options available to us. In the end, we felt we bought
• the best vehicle
• with the best options and
• the best warranty!
Jason, Cheryle, and Mike all displayed professional knowledge, advise, and attention to details. They made our car buying experience great with no regrets!
Awful Customer Service - Wildwood26
Had an issue with a map upgrade. Owner & service manager wuld respond to my repeated emails.
Also, service would phone me to remind of services that weren't scheduled as per maintenance schedule.
Didn't realize this until I changed dealers.
Horrible customer service - klass1234
Jared Morris is probably the worst sales person I've ever dealt with. He's pushy, he's rude & he makes you feel stupid! Very unprofessional. Can't even return a phone call and had to come down in order to talk to someone about my vehicle issue which I had purchased from him, which I also had to wait in his office for an hour and a half to see look at while he was off doing God knows what. Wouldn't reccommend buying from here.
Amazing staff - JO and Care
Selkirk Chrysler is the most amazing place to be when looking for a vehicle. Both Harvey and Lloyd took care of us both times we have been their. My experience with the dealership has been nothing but honourable. They both went beyond the call of duty for helping us get into the rt truck with ease. If anyone is looking for a great experience ,buy and go down to Selkirk Chrysler. Friggin amazing. I'm in my dream truck with affordable payments. Thank u both and staff for this.
Written estimates? Unauthorized work? - Visiting from Ontario
Not sure whats going on in this service shop. Might be how they treat all customers, or just those that are from out of town. No estimate for repair, no consult for authorization after they found it was not warranty. Work done and here's your bill.
Service manager rude and ignorant to my wife.
Will not reccomend.
Sales Review - Gis
Kemajl Hyseni, Sales Consultant at Waverley dealership, convinced me to come in to look at possibility of trading up on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Sport. After asking me some questions, he narrowed down the selection on the lot that fit my wants, needs and affordability. The only thing missing was a backup camera but he was able to arrange having a factory camera installed with little fuss. Kemajl made me feel welcome and listened to. Thank you.
Terrible got ripped off on my trade and service nonexistant. - gustard
The only reason I chose this dealership is because no dealership in Winnipeg had the vehicle and configuration I wanted. I got 5 thousand less for my trade in based on blue book value. I have been trying to resolve a issue with my vehicle and have been to the dealership three times.
The whole atmosphere feels like I am in the movie used cars these guys are pure xxxx run do not walk away. I thought being a small town dealership they would be honest and upfront I could not have been more wrong. The extended warranty I got was useless. I am considering getting a lawyer just on principle alone I pray they go out of business the way they treat customers. Our sale lady said to me upon our purchase this is not the end this is the beginning of our friendship. All the times I have been back not even a hello. Not that I give a xxxx but the previous dealership used to send us thank you notes and if we had a issue it was taken care of the same week. The sales manager was a jerk. The sale lady was nice until we left but not one follow up call to see if we were happy with our vehicle once they get your money then it is a screw you attitude .I will let everyone I know not to do business with them.
Terrible - alexg46
Bought a used low km truck there and spent 2300 on extended warranty. Encountered radio and spedo problems. Took it in to get fixed under warranty and they tried charging me 650$ in diagnostic fees. Eventually fought them down to 150 and the problem still persists. Terrible technicians and terrible customer service. Even after buying our past 3 vehicles from there they don't seem to care. Would not recommend to anyone.
Worst dealership i ever had to deal with - pavzyuk
Worst dealership i had ever had to work with. Service department pads time and $$ on parts. I inquired if a problem would be covered by warranty and received Yes. I set an appointment and took time off work brought the the truck in, asked again if this was covered by warranty and was told yes agian. Just to go home and get a call in 30 min that it is not covered and i would have to pay. Probably hoping that i would agree to pay. A different dealership has taken care of the same problem for me for free. Talked to mangers and didnt no even hear attempt to apologize but some sorry excuses. This dealership is a highway robber praying on unsuspected. I would not go back even if this would be the last car dealer on Earth.
Do not go there for repair - Gumber
My car was there a week and they could not diagnose the problem. They charged me for their mechanics time trying to diagnose the car and demanded that i have towed from their lot or pay storage charges? Before i took it there they said they could fix it. Took it to the city and it was fixed quickly by another dealership. They do not know how to repair cars.
Still Waiting - dwstwrt
Went to dealership in January to enquire about 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, they did not have stock which was understood due to delay in factory release. We were told that we would get a call as soon as they had something comparable to what we wanted in stock, subsequently stopped at dealer three times and were promised the "call". Three months later went to Winnipeg dealer and placed order, I guess Portage dealership has already got to many customers, now five months and still waiting for phone to ring. Hope it does ring one day so I can tell them I will call them back!
We purchased a 24' Wilderness Camper from this... - stinger91
We purchased a 24' Wilderness Camper from this dealership in 2008. We have had numerous problems since then that required contacting the Service/Parts Dept. The assistance we received was deplorable and we would call it the non-existent service, once you have bought the item, you can expect no service at all. From the start, here is a brief description of our problems with this camper: handle missing for antenna, T.V., radio, remote, etc. never worked properly from the start, leaking and eventually replaced skylight over shower. All these items were not covered under warranty and we paid for them. On our first long trip we had numerous repetitive problems with the tires that we also had to eventually replace upon return at a substantial cost of $448.00. Any attempt to obtain information about the so-called "tire warranty" was a complete exercise in futility, both with the dealership and with the company in the U.S. which supposedly was the manufacturer of these tires. They had never heard of the tires or anything else connected with them being on the camper we purchased. We firmly believe that the dealership replaced whatever tires this camper came with originally, along with other parts and pieces, with cheap junk!! Our latest experience was this past week upon returning from a trip west. We came home with a broken spring - and have been trying to find a replacement. Went to a machine shop, phoned 2 parts stores here in town, as well as the dealership in Swan River. Received two negative responses and one parts store here thinks they have found the right one and ordered it for us. As for the dealership where we purchased the camper, we are still awaiting an answer from the Service/Parts Dept. from an Aug. 15 phone call. They seemed very confused as to what the part was for and why we were calling them!!!!!!! We definitely would not buy another thing from this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone.
