Attentive, cheerful, competent staff made it fun! - Neill
Rod Bell initiated the process (by phone); Gina did the tough slogging trying to make sense of what I was looking for; Andre provided smart guidance /follow through, and Dorothy guided me through the myriad of options after making a vehicle selection. Gerald in service has served me well for many years. Everyone was attentive, cheerful and good at listening. What a great bunch!!! Is there room for improvement? Not in my books!
Excellent Experience - robync
I had a great experience with Ed and Alanna with my recent trade-in and purchase. I am extremely grateful for Ed's patience and help from answering my questions to helping get me into my new Grand Cherokee! I would highly recommend going to see them as I am very pleased overall, including with the financing and warranty options presented by Alanna.
charged over $100 more than other dealerships - hike44
I was charged over $100 more for the same service as other dealerships in the city. Don't trust this dealership just because you have always gone there; compare prices as they way off on regular service jobs that you assume will be standard pricing at all the dealerships. The manager does not care and won't match pricing. Won't be going back!!!
Great - Ram2016
Great day at wpg dodge Ken Collison is one of the best salesman in the city. Picked up a new Dodge 2016 1500 ram. Ken will do his best and get you a fair price... This is my 3rd vehicle I purchased from Ken. Great doing business with you again my friend..
Go pop in visit Ken Collison and his team.
Amazing staff - JO and Care
Selkirk Chrysler is the most amazing place to be when looking for a vehicle. Both Harvey and Lloyd took care of us both times we have been their. My experience with the dealership has been nothing but honourable. They both went beyond the call of duty for helping us get into the rt truck with ease. If anyone is looking for a great experience ,buy and go down to Selkirk Chrysler. Friggin amazing. I'm in my dream truck with affordable payments. Thank u both and staff for this.
Written estimates? Unauthorized work? - Visiting from Ontario
Not sure whats going on in this service shop. Might be how they treat all customers, or just those that are from out of town. No estimate for repair, no consult for authorization after they found it was not warranty. Work done and here's your bill.
Service manager rude and ignorant to my wife.
Will not reccomend.
Incompetent - Rboy tson
Incompetent. If you want to die, get your vehicle serviced here. They will "fix" it only for the same part to fail 24 hr later, then ask for 1500 to fix it.
Two years ago i bought a brand new truck ( Dodge 1500, 4x4). For the last year a error message to service the suspension system comes up, take it here for service. They always claimed that there is nothing wrong and no charge. A month ago the suspension completely failed doing 100 km, almost lost control. Took it in again, 2 days later its fixed "low nitrogen" in the suspension system, no charge. Less then 24 hr later suspension failing again. Take it back, "oh, these air suspension systems don't work will in our climate". $ 1500 to fix it, since now it is off warrenty. "It would be cheaper to convert it to a regauler leaf spring suspension, that would be around $6000).
They sold and "serviced" a vehicle that they knew had deflective parts that could failed. I could have died. When asked weather i should get my lawyer involved Marc's answer was a laugh and "good luck with that, these thing happen".
Bunch of crooks.
DO NOT GO HERE!! Any positive reviews have to be posted by family/friends/ or themselves.
Their service people lie and don't know anything. - Mopar426
Not only did they try to tell me that my DEF fluid is bad, they told me that it goes bad in three months (it can last upwards of three years according to Cummins). When I brought it in to have my trailer brake initialized they charged me the fee and never actually did it. Their sales people try to push vehicles on you that you don't want, lied to me when I tried to trade in my car for a truck by not telling me all the available deals that were available, and not giving me the money that was initially promised for my trade. So be careful if you buy from there because they won't tell you the deals available so they can pocket that money for themselves. There is only one service personnel I like to deal with and who knows anything about vehicles. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone I know; terrible service, terrible staff, and terrible work ethics.
Terrible - alexg46
Bought a used low km truck there and spent 2300 on extended warranty. Encountered radio and spedo problems. Took it in to get fixed under warranty and they tried charging me 650$ in diagnostic fees. Eventually fought them down to 150 and the problem still persists. Terrible technicians and terrible customer service. Even after buying our past 3 vehicles from there they don't seem to care. Would not recommend to anyone.
Poor workmen ship - Johnjay
Took my truck in for auto pac repairs they fixed the area that was damaged never cleaned the rest of the truck there was missing parts and they were supposed to do s 4 wheel alignment they never did. I advise anyone to stay say I live 8 miles away if I buy a new dodge I'm driving a hour away to do so
Worst dealership i ever had to deal with - pavzyuk
Worst dealership i had ever had to work with. Service department pads time and $$ on parts. I inquired if a problem would be covered by warranty and received Yes. I set an appointment and took time off work brought the the truck in, asked again if this was covered by warranty and was told yes agian. Just to go home and get a call in 30 min that it is not covered and i would have to pay. Probably hoping that i would agree to pay. A different dealership has taken care of the same problem for me for free. Talked to mangers and didnt no even hear attempt to apologize but some sorry excuses. This dealership is a highway robber praying on unsuspected. I would not go back even if this would be the last car dealer on Earth.
Still Waiting - dwstwrt
Went to dealership in January to enquire about 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, they did not have stock which was understood due to delay in factory release. We were told that we would get a call as soon as they had something comparable to what we wanted in stock, subsequently stopped at dealer three times and were promised the "call". Three months later went to Winnipeg dealer and placed order, I guess Portage dealership has already got to many customers, now five months and still waiting for phone to ring. Hope it does ring one day so I can tell them I will call them back!
We purchased a 24' Wilderness Camper from this... - stinger91
We purchased a 24' Wilderness Camper from this dealership in 2008. We have had numerous problems since then that required contacting the Service/Parts Dept. The assistance we received was deplorable and we would call it the non-existent service, once you have bought the item, you can expect no service at all. From the start, here is a brief description of our problems with this camper: handle missing for antenna, T.V., radio, remote, etc. never worked properly from the start, leaking and eventually replaced skylight over shower. All these items were not covered under warranty and we paid for them. On our first long trip we had numerous repetitive problems with the tires that we also had to eventually replace upon return at a substantial cost of $448.00. Any attempt to obtain information about the so-called "tire warranty" was a complete exercise in futility, both with the dealership and with the company in the U.S. which supposedly was the manufacturer of these tires. They had never heard of the tires or anything else connected with them being on the camper we purchased. We firmly believe that the dealership replaced whatever tires this camper came with originally, along with other parts and pieces, with cheap junk!! Our latest experience was this past week upon returning from a trip west. We came home with a broken spring - and have been trying to find a replacement. Went to a machine shop, phoned 2 parts stores here in town, as well as the dealership in Swan River. Received two negative responses and one parts store here thinks they have found the right one and ordered it for us. As for the dealership where we purchased the camper, we are still awaiting an answer from the Service/Parts Dept. from an Aug. 15 phone call. They seemed very confused as to what the part was for and why we were calling them!!!!!!! We definitely would not buy another thing from this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone.
