Had an excellent experience buying a car with Paula Parades! - Nissan
My husband and I had spent months looking for a car and thankfully found one at Eastern Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Winnipeg-we just wish we had gone here first! The staff were amazing! No pushy salespeople no gimmicks. Paul Paredes was the best salesperson we ever dealt with! He was knowledgable, professional, funny and fair. He took the time to answer all our questions and didn't rush us at all. This dealership takes pride in their customer service and it shows! It was actually a fun experience!! We even flipped a coin to save more money and won! Ian in the finance dept was fantastic as well! They also took the time to follow up with us afterwards to make sure we were happy-which we were! We will definitely refer family and friends to Paul and we will be back for our next car! Thanks again Paul!
Amazing Experience - JO
From the moment I walked into the showroom, greeted by Randy "Duke" Doquette, I received exceptional service. Never purchasing a vehicle on my own before he made the process as stress free as possible. I purchased my Firecracker Red Jeep Cherokee Ltd. High Altitude and have nicked named it my Beauty. It has so many great features that Duke patiently explained to me over a 2 hour period. My husband would be so happy that I am in such a safe vehicle. Thanks to the whole team at the dealership, with an extra thank you to Alanna Sigurdson who was so helpful to me. Duke, every time I drive my new vehicle it brings a smile to my face! Thank you so much.
Jeep in a hurry! - carlyg23
I had a great experience there yesterday. I phoned from out of town, 30 mins later they were ready for me to test drive the car I wanted. 2 hours later I was already driving my new Jeep home! Sales rep, Manager and Finance personnel were so good to me and kind, caring and had empathy towards me knowing this was a huge personal investment and they seemed to care about my needs. I will certainly recommend them to others. Great job and i LOVE my jeep (I couldn't find this make and model anywhere and they were able to get me exactly what I wanted!)
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! - MeganJ81
I took my van into my mechanic when the check engine light came on. They looked at it, contacted this dealership and were told it was a warranty recall, so they put my van back together. I took it to Pembina Dodge the next day who then told me even though I had documentation of the code they couldn't confirm it was a warranty recall because they didn't see it themselves. But, they could keep my van for 2-3 weeks to do tests, then tell me if it was or wasn't warranty. If it wasn't, not only would I have to pay for the repair, I would also have to pay for all the testing AND lucky me I would get to pay for my own rental vehicle as well!! I told them not to do anything, I was going to get another opinion. Then their driver got lost coming to get me, was 45 minutes later than he should have been, which got me extra charges at my daycare. YAY! I then took it to the dealership in Steinbach. They confirmed it was a warranty recall within 1 hour, had it fixed in 3 days, also fixed an issue with my muffler at no charge and provided a rental vehicle at no charge. I fully believe that no matter what they had found they would have told me it was not warranty and would have made me pay through the nose. They are crooks. Do not EVER go to Pembina Chrysler, you will get ripped off, get the run around and the service manager is too chicken to call you back.
Pushy & Agressive - carlyg23
I will never go to them again. Almost signed the dotted line but the sales guy and finance manager were so pushy and made me feel like I was wasting their time. Every time a person walked into the room, they looked like they were upset about missing a sale to someone else. Not even looking me in the eyes, shady and unprofessional. They didn't even know basic info about the car they were showing me. Sorry your time wasn't worth my money cause you lost my $45,000 purchase to another Chrysler dealer and they treated me with most respect the whole process.
Written estimates? Unauthorized work? - Visiting from Ontario
Not sure whats going on in this service shop. Might be how they treat all customers, or just those that are from out of town. No estimate for repair, no consult for authorization after they found it was not warranty. Work done and here's your bill.
Service manager rude and ignorant to my wife.
Will not reccomend.
Buy used and youll get used. - Clueless
The only person who knows anything about how to sell a car is the finance guy KF.
This company does not keep on top of prices, or recalls. They do not communicate and the GM is a con. We asked to have 900 dollars off the price so we would be on budget and he asked us to meet half way at 450. I asked for an oil change too then ( which i think should have been done anyway) only to see after the deal that he charges me $598.
Do the math! I was livid what kind of person takes advantage of someone not understanding the new laws? What kind of monster smiles and nods like hes doing a customer a solid but ends up making more off them....NO INTEGRITY!!!!! NO TRANSPARANCY!!! xxxx rights i faught for that money back but they wont re.write the offer so im stuck with a high payment because of that.greasy stunt
They refered to thr President as the man in the Ivory Tower. They spoke of the GM as someone who doesnt know much because hes covering for someone.
They sure know how to make their profits while people waste gas. Time. Lost work hours. Surprise prices at the end because they just cant be straight up the first time. Price of the vehicle was the biggest mislead.
I BOUGHT a used truck they have had since March
I am pretty confident I was pushed and coerced into a lemon. I begged them to cancel the deal. I guess stuffing thier pockets is much more important than having someone go to their work place of 2000 and the internet. Abd the Corporate and the Bank and Consumer Protection to file complaints and hope for legal action and letting everyone know what a 3 ring circus my experience was.
Ill starve now for 8 years. Ive had 3 trips so far and need to make another one.
It is by far NOt WORTH THE TRIP TO SCAMBACH.
I have another dealer so incredibly frustrated by this he offered to buy the truck off of me to let me start fresh and in my price range.i trust no one
There is not medication enough to take after a sales manager looks at me and says " tell me this! How many car dealerships have you owned?"
Ps. All those deal dodge jeep adds talk about arent deals. They are all worked into the price.....one thing i can say i am pleased with is the FCA warranty covers all the stuff that matters.
But its because its easier than having to have a lot of angry customers.
BAD Customer service and SCAM. - Vincent T
I got a busted alternator I brought my van here hoping they could fix it, its under Global Warranty. I was happy, despite the fact that I dont have a booking they manage to accomodate. After 4 hours DALE phone me telling me that I need to buy a new battery so they could run the diagnostic, I ask DALE just replace the alternator because its the one discharging my battery but he woudn't listen. I felt like his forcing me to buy the mopar battery ($375). Day After my conversation with DALE Ron phone me for follow-up, I told to Ron Dale's is forcing me to buy new battery before they could replace my alternator I ask Ron if I could buy aftermarket battery ($179.99). Ron told me that he'll get back to me in 2 days, Ron Also mention me that I have a ABS Wire problem that need to fix and not under Global Warranty. If you have a busted alternator and dying battery all the cluster panel will lite on. At the end they REFUSE to fix my Van and and pay $99+tax. BAD Customer service and SCAM.
Luckily Fountain Tire was there to fix it.!
Terrible - alexg46
Bought a used low km truck there and spent 2300 on extended warranty. Encountered radio and spedo problems. Took it in to get fixed under warranty and they tried charging me 650$ in diagnostic fees. Eventually fought them down to 150 and the problem still persists. Terrible technicians and terrible customer service. Even after buying our past 3 vehicles from there they don't seem to care. Would not recommend to anyone.
Poor workmen ship - Johnjay
Took my truck in for auto pac repairs they fixed the area that was damaged never cleaned the rest of the truck there was missing parts and they were supposed to do s 4 wheel alignment they never did. I advise anyone to stay say I live 8 miles away if I buy a new dodge I'm driving a hour away to do so
Worst dealership i ever had to deal with - pavzyuk
Worst dealership i had ever had to work with. Service department pads time and $$ on parts. I inquired if a problem would be covered by warranty and received Yes. I set an appointment and took time off work brought the the truck in, asked again if this was covered by warranty and was told yes agian. Just to go home and get a call in 30 min that it is not covered and i would have to pay. Probably hoping that i would agree to pay. A different dealership has taken care of the same problem for me for free. Talked to mangers and didnt no even hear attempt to apologize but some sorry excuses. This dealership is a highway robber praying on unsuspected. I would not go back even if this would be the last car dealer on Earth.
Still Waiting - dwstwrt
Went to dealership in January to enquire about 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, they did not have stock which was understood due to delay in factory release. We were told that we would get a call as soon as they had something comparable to what we wanted in stock, subsequently stopped at dealer three times and were promised the "call". Three months later went to Winnipeg dealer and placed order, I guess Portage dealership has already got to many customers, now five months and still waiting for phone to ring. Hope it does ring one day so I can tell them I will call them back!
We purchased a 24' Wilderness Camper from this... - stinger91
We purchased a 24' Wilderness Camper from this dealership in 2008. We have had numerous problems since then that required contacting the Service/Parts Dept. The assistance we received was deplorable and we would call it the non-existent service, once you have bought the item, you can expect no service at all. From the start, here is a brief description of our problems with this camper: handle missing for antenna, T.V., radio, remote, etc. never worked properly from the start, leaking and eventually replaced skylight over shower. All these items were not covered under warranty and we paid for them. On our first long trip we had numerous repetitive problems with the tires that we also had to eventually replace upon return at a substantial cost of $448.00. Any attempt to obtain information about the so-called "tire warranty" was a complete exercise in futility, both with the dealership and with the company in the U.S. which supposedly was the manufacturer of these tires. They had never heard of the tires or anything else connected with them being on the camper we purchased. We firmly believe that the dealership replaced whatever tires this camper came with originally, along with other parts and pieces, with cheap junk!! Our latest experience was this past week upon returning from a trip west. We came home with a broken spring - and have been trying to find a replacement. Went to a machine shop, phoned 2 parts stores here in town, as well as the dealership in Swan River. Received two negative responses and one parts store here thinks they have found the right one and ordered it for us. As for the dealership where we purchased the camper, we are still awaiting an answer from the Service/Parts Dept. from an Aug. 15 phone call. They seemed very confused as to what the part was for and why we were calling them!!!!!!! We definitely would not buy another thing from this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone.
