Horrible after market service and an even worse experience with the service department who failed to complete an oil change because they couldn't even find my keys in their drop box or car in the parking lot despite it sitting there all day. When questioned why they couldn't phone me to inquire they had little to say, failed to take ownership for their mistake, blamed the myself the customer and couldn't help solve the problem. Never did get my car serviced and no phone call to follow up with an apology. Worth the trip across the street to see the GM dealership. Craig Hindle and his team are always amazing over there with friendly, helpful faces. Will not got back to Duncan Honda ever again.

Maxine and the service dept were amazing!! Their knowledge helped to quickly identify a sound which turned out to be an issue covered under warranty. I had brought my Crosstrek to another Subaru dealer previously and they couldn't figure it out. Maxine's great professionalism and communication kept me in loop and updated throughout the process. Best experience at a dealership ever!! Thanks again!

This dealership is totally a Scam. THE CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY DONT WANT TO TAKE RESPONSABILITY AND FIX IT. THEY KEEP SAYING NOTHING WRONG WITH IT EVEN THO THEY ADMIT AT FIRST THAT THEY HERE FUNNY RATTLING NOISES .. AND ISSUES ... ETC TO COME LATER ON AND SAY THERE IS NOTHING WRONG. THEY ARE EXPERTS AT PLAYING GAMES WHEN VEHICULE IS UNDER WARRANTY. IF IT WASN'T I BET THEY WILL TAKE THE CAR FOR DAYS TO FIX IT BECAUSE IT PAYS $$$. WHEN IT IS UNDER WARRANTY THEY DONT CARE AT ALL. CHECK HOW MANY COMPLAINTS THEY HAVE ON BBB.ORG!! THEY ARE VERY WELL KNOWN WITH THEIRE WRONG PRACTICES. I bought a Camaro from Dueck on marine. But Dueck Downtown is closed to where i live and work. i took it here for many many warranty checks for many issues (Transmission banging hard, air leak on the windows, rattling sounds coming from the soft top as it is a convertible, and other issues ... etc).... THEY EVEN DAMAGED MY CAR BY BACKING IT TO THE WALL AND CAUSING A MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE BACK OF THE CAMARO ''while taking it to the wash bay''. ALSO, i dont recommend anyone to let them wash their car here, NOT ONLY THERE IS A RISK THEY WILL SMACK IT TO A WALL LIKE THEY DID WITH MINE, BUT YOU PAINT JOB CAN REST IN PEACE. THEY WILL SCRATCH YOUR CAR DURING THE WASH. they did it to mine and they offered to do a full detailing. which did improve the scratches but they are still visible. they asked to bring the car for a checkup .. ! every time i take the car in ... they keep it for a full day to only find out that THEY DIDN'T FIX NOTHING. they are experts at telling you we did check it and we didnt find anything wrong. IF IT IS UNDER WARRANTY EXPECT THE SAME ANSWER. they are very well know with that at that dealership. IF IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY, they take the car in and milk the max money out of you. BUT IF IT IS UNDER WARRANTY ... YOU DONT MEAN NOTHING TO THEM AS YOU DONT GENERATE ANY $$$$. I tool my car in way over 12 times. 12 visits!!! for minor issues like that ?? that's a total non sense. Their shop manager Ken went for a drive with me and he can tell there is a rattling sound from the soft, the Mechanic went for a drive and he tells me there is lots of camaro's coming in for transmission issues and they try 2 things to resolve the problem: adjust with PC or transmission flush (they tried option1 but they refused to try option #2), the air leak on the windows was not there - the air leak started when they adjusted the window height as it did touch the soft top when trying to open the door - since that adjustment i started having air leak sound coming from window, ALso while doing that small adjustment they had to remove the door panel which DID messup the speaker on the passenger side. it is vibrating when music plays. which is annoying for a fancy car like that.

have to say it was a real pleasure working with Tony Homol, needed new rims and tires for my cts4 coup and he worked with me for a while because was so fussy about what I was looking for . He found me something I was very happy with and kept in touch with me all the time with updates , he really knows his stuff , I would definitely look to work with Tony in the future he's a great guy.

Sold our daughter a 2018 civic. The day after she had to bring back as the front brake was hot and ALL had to be replaced after they told her again that nothing was wrong with the brakes. then tried to charge her $90 telling her she was lucky that's all they were charging and she even paid $2000 warranty. AC also broken and a smell inside the car which she mentioned with no result. She took to a Honda dealer for the AC repair, mentioned the smell inside and THEY found a dog toy stuck above the muffler which was melting. Obviously this dealer doesn't check their vehicles prior to selling and imagine if her breaks went on the Malahat. I'm so upset they put my daughter in danger, Shame on you

For more accurate reviews check Google. Nobody's perfect but this company makes every effort to take care of their customers. And, when ever there have been any issues the manager has always made himself available to the customers to discuss their concerns. As a business owner I am also aware that review companies like this quite often charge the owners of the businesses to sign up with them so the business can reach out to the people who have had concerns. They essentially hold the company hostage for fees. Google is free, make sure you check the Google review site before taking these smaller companies at the word of the reviewers.

Least helpful business I have ever dealt with. First off I has a factory recall on my Dodge 1500 air bag. they did the air bag than charged me $75 to reset the airbag light telling me that the reset wasn't covered by the recall. Pretty sure that was a lie.

I ordered an accessory by phone for them to order in for me. When it came in they called me the same hour. I dropped by as I was passing and they installed it for me--just good service. Then I said that I had a question for finance, but was asking Parts and Service instead. Kailey said "I don't know, but I'll get an answer for you, sir, right away", and away she went and got my answer! Now THAT'S good service.

I wouldn’t go here for Service on a vehicle unless you absolutely have to. The Wednesday before the Canada Day long weekend, our truck broke down on Highway 1 just outside of Hope on the first day of our two week camping trip (we had our trailer hitched up to the truck). We had had the truck serviced in Victoria before we left, so it was a surprise when the check engine light came on and the transmission started acting odd. After we stopped to check what was wrong (at the commercial vehicle weigh station) we were unable to get the truck in gear again. We called Gardner Chevrolet thinking we were lucky we were so close to a town with a Chev dealer. We then called Hope Towing to get us to the dealer. Pete was great and was able to put the truck on the flatbed and hitch up the trailer to take with us. Victor on the Gardner service desk suggested that we could drop our trailer behind their shop while they looked at the truck, so this is what we decided to do (even though Pete suggested dropping the trailer off first at a campground down the street). We were encouraged by Victor’s suggestion and thought we’d be back on our way later that day (or that they would at least be able to read the code so we would know what the problem was). When we finally got to the dealer (around 1pm), I made a remark that this wasn’t the greatest start to our holiday. Victor just snidely replied “You’re not the only ones here”. He then asked if we’d like him to call the campground for us – without even mentioning when they’d be able to get to look at our truck. We then had to get Pete to re-hitch up our trailer and tow it to the campground (at a cost of an additional $80!) – especially frustrating as we could have had him drop it on the way to the dealer and the extended warranty would have picked up the cost. We waited all day for Victor or someone from the Service department to call us and at least let us know what the problem might be (at this point we weren’t sure if it was our transmission or just an electronic component). We even stopped by an hour or so later to pick up something we had forgot in the truck and were only greeted with a seemingly spiteful “How’s the camping?” remark. (Especially galling as we had reservations with our daughter and her husband to be camping outside Osoyoos and were then supposed to be heading for a family reunion the next day in Cranbrook.) No news on the truck or when/if they would be able to look at it. We spent a sleepless night wondering how we were going to get moving again and if we would get to our family reunion on the Canada Day weekend. The campground we were in (and likely every campground in the province) was completely booked for that weekend and we had no way to move our trailer anyway. We phoned the Service department as soon as they opened the next morning and had to leave a message as they were too busy to come to the phone. When they still hadn’t called back an hour later, we tried again. This time they told us “It’s all fixed.”. While this was good news, it would have been nice if they could have looked at it/fixed it the day before (especially as they only had to change out the transmission control module – which took a very short time in the end). Overall, the worst service I have ever received at a car dealer and a thoroughly horrible experience.

Worst Service I ever experienced in my 45 years of driving - Pissed

This dealership, I feel, destroyed my transmission. They say they do a 20 point check on fluid levels etc. every time you have servicing - if they do (which I doubt) they don't let you know if there is a problem or don't do anything about problems they find including letting you know. In October they said they checked my transmission fluid, in February my transmission died - it had no transmission fluid in it and there was no leak. I took it in to get the timing belt changed at the time you are suppose to change them, $1700.00 bill. Later I find out the mechanic looked at it and thought it was fine so didn't change it, I was not told at the time, later when I had seals leaking I am told it was not done - I was very angry - then they back tracked and said it was done and they offered to fix the seals at such a reduced rate $400.00 over the original $1800.00 quote I let them hoping that they would do the timing belt at the same time. I will never go there again and I am cautioning everyone else to not go there if you value your vehicle. I did buy another Honda they are good vehicles but I will never go back to this dealership.
