Warning: Dishonest Practices and Poor Service at Acura of Langley
I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a car from Dilawri's Acura of Langley and I feel compelled to share my disappointment to prevent others from falling victim to their deceitful practices and subpar service.
To start, the safety inspection report provided by Dilawri's Acura of Langley dealership falsely claimed that the car passed all safety standards. However, upon inspection at a Cadillac dealership, it was revealed that the brakes did not meet safety standards, with the actual brake pads measuring at 2mm instead of the reported 4mm. This blatant lie endangers the safety of drivers and passengers. The engine was vibrating/shaking, which the Cadillac dealership (second opinion) inspected and advised that there was an engine misfire which would require a tune up to resolve. Again, when this was brought up to the Acura of Langley, they dismissed and disregarded.
Furthermore, despite the safety inspection report stating there were no leaks from the engine compartment, the Cadillac dealership discovered two separate leaks. This indicates either gross negligence or intentional deception on the part of Dilawri's Acura of Langley.
Adding insult to injury, the car was missing crucial entertainment accessories, including headphones and a remote for the entertainment system. This omission was not disclosed during the purchase process, rendering the entertainment system unusable.
Additionally, there are numerous scratches on both the exterior and interior of the car that were conveniently overlooked by Dilawri's Acura of Langley "virtual walkthrough" prior to purchase.
When I attempted to address these issues with the Customer Service and the General Manager, I was met with dismissiveness and a complete lack of accountability. It is evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for Dilawri's Acura of Langley.
Furthermore, their communication is abysmal, with response times being unacceptably slow. Despite my explicit instructions, they failed to secure the best financing options for me, even though I directed them to specific banks offering lower interest rates.
In conclusion, the dishonesty, poor service, and disregard for customer safety and satisfaction displayed by Dilawri's Acura of Langley Dealership are utterly reprehensible. I strongly advise against doing business with them, as they willfully take advantage of unsuspecting customers.
