I took my 2024 F150 in for warranty work, but unfortunately, I encountered Alex, the worst service advisor I’ve ever had. He was extremely unprofessional and seemed to have difficulty comprehending Ford’s new vehicle limited warranty, despite claiming to have been in the industry for a long time.
Alex insisted that since his truck had the same issue as mine, it was normal. He was also unwilling to provide me with any section of Ford’s warranty guide claiming that Ford has a 20,000 km “adjustment warranty.” (It doesn’t exist.)
Fortunately, Alex Ford Canada has confirmed that this is a YOU issue, and another dealer has agreed to take the warranty work. Adjustments to the trucks body panels were made on the spot, and parts are already ordered.
On a side note, Alex, it would be wise to be mindful of your tone when speaking about customers who clearly know more about Ford’s warranty than you. Especially when there’s a dash cam recording you. It’s disingenuous to claim that the tech found nothing wrong with my vehicle after I have him on video stating that the clock spring is making noise and you telling him not to worry about it because your truck does it.
