Buying a new car experience I have been researching electric and hybrid cars for a long time but did not decide to buy/lease until my 17-year old minivan died. I was looking for I have been researching electric and hybrid cars for a long time but did not decide to buy/lease until my 17-year old minivan died. I was looking for a hybrid that was a hatchback and afordable and the C-MAX was the only one. I had checked with another dealership but they did not have one. Then I called Yorkdale Ford. I was told that they have in stock what I was looking for. My wife, son and I came to the dealership and met Claudio. He has been driving a hybrid and could tell me everything about it. I had several questions and he provided all the answers. I liked the feature of 19 miles range on battery and then the engine kicks in at 2.5 L/100Km. Most of my daily trips will fit within that range. Claudio took us for a test drive and we were very impressed with the car. Claudio took the time to show us many of the features of the car. Claudio explained all about the pricing for buying and leasing. He then applied the employee pricing and government incentive and came up with 4-year 0% no down payment that was affordable. Then he asked me what I wanted to do. I decided that I would go for the lease. To summarise: 1. We were met by Claudio as soon as we walked into the dealership 2. Claudio was very knowledge about the car 3. He took the time to explain and show all the features of the car 4. He worked on the price to make it fit my budget 5. The finance person was also very pleasant and explained the details of the financing 6. On the day I picked up the car Claudio went through all of the manuals and explained how to find information about the features and also took a picture of us and the car and posted it on facebook. 7. Claudio went through every feature of the car and even demonstrated how the battery charging works with the charging station. Overall I had a great buying experience. Claudio made it great. I love my car and I and love the fact that I will be bypassing the gas stations for a long time. It is so quite and smooth. More

This is my first time leasing a car, I narrowed my search to 3 cars from different manufacturers. I decided to get the Ford Escape base model S. Here is a brief summary of my experience: 1. Ali was my sales associate and was very serious and helpful. 2. I got the price I was expecting. 3. I test drove the vehicle with no issues liked what I drove. 4. The process was very clear to me and I felt that Ali was very transparent. 5. Nick the financial guy made it possible for me to pick the car up the very next day. 6. AFTER I purchased the car, I contacted Ali with some minor concerns, ALL of which are being dealt with to my satisfaction. A true sign of good business conduct. Compared to their neighbor, who would not even send a sales associate over to talk to me despite waiting 15 minutes, Dufferin Ford, and particularly Ali were great group of people to deal with. More
