AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP - Read my experience below if you're so inclined: My family has been a long-time customer of this dealership. We have purchased multiple vehicles from them and entrusted them to service our cars/SUVs over the years. My family's most recent vehicle, a Volkswagen Tiguan, was always serviced here (including a large $1,500+ service package as recently as February 2025). At the time of the incident described below, the vehicle had only ~110,000 km. Over the BC Day long weekend, my Tiguan broke down on the highway while traveling with my family, including two small children. The vehicle became completely undrivable, leaving us stranded on the side of the road for three hours and 20+ kilometers away from the nearest town. This turned what was meant to be a family trip into an incredibly stressful ordeal and forced me to rent a vehicle at a cost of nearly $2,000 for the week. Volkswagen Roadside initially agreed to tow my vehicle back to the Lower Mainland for $850. Several days later, I was suddenly told it would instead cost an additional $2,500. On top of that, I was initially charged by Comox Volkswagen $500 for a “diagnostic,” only to inform me that the engine had a HOLE IN THE ENGINE BLOCK and would need to be fully replaced at a cost of $12,000 - $20,000. The treatment I received afterward was equally disappointing. Volkswagen of Richmond initially offered me $3,000–$5,000 for my Tiguan, but only if I purchased a new vehicle from them. Once I declined, they refused to give me anything for my vehicle. They also claimed they could help me through one of their affiliated dealerships, but after speaking with the manager this turned out to be a complete waste of time. To make matters worse, a dealership literally across the street immediately agreed to buy my broken Tiguan for $1,500, yet Volkswagen refused to help me move the vehicle over to complete the deal. To their credit, they offered me an extended warranty if I bought another Volkswagen, but after this ordeal I will never be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership again. Long story short: despite being a loyal customer, having purchased multiple vehicles here, and keeping my Tiguan regularly serviced at this dealership, I was left stranded, charged unfairly, offered misleading “solutions,” and ultimately shown zero genuine support. They repeatedly said they wanted to “make things right,” but in reality they were misleading at every turn. My Tiguan, with only 110,000 km and a full service history here, died on me and I was left with nothing. Volkswagen of Richmond offered me $0 for the vehicle while another dealer across the street paid cash without hesitation. This entire experience has completely destroyed my trust in this dealership and in Volkswagen’s after-sales support. For anyone considering buying or servicing a vehicle here, I strongly encourage you to think twice. More
Don't know much about the dealership since it was my first time I went to look at a car I would have bought, but unfortunately, the car I wanted got sold just before I arrived by the manager. However, I decided to look for another car with the suggestion of Danilo who called to tell me the bad news of the car being sold and let me know there were other nice cars. He was so kind on the phone I decided to drive over anyway and look at other cars. Danilo provided me with the best customer service ever, as he is very knowledgeable, was very professional and most importantly very personable! I would give him more than 5 starts for his superb customer service. Although I was disappointed that his manger sold the car I wanted, I am very happy to have visited the dealership to view other cars thanks to Danilo. In future, when I decide to buy a second car, I know it will definitely be Danilo who will help me find one that is suitable for me, as I trust him. More
My EPC light was on again after they said was fixed. I was told before better drive to them asap for inspection without turning off the engine, or maybe can not find the problem. So I did drove to them hope to find a solution instead from my other things, then I was told they are too busy and need to leave the car for over night and start a file witch will cost me around $230 per hr to see the problem. Wait, I thought that was their problem not to get things fixed right, how is now my problem now have to keep going back and ask to leave the car and go home. I had 5 VW and now still have 2, I never thought how VW got to this. More

Next in line Timing chain cover need check? Again permission granted ..4 Days later the service technician call me breaking the news you need a new engine!! I was dreading something was not right.they quoted me $8000. I Cave in. The Next Day my wife and i arrived at the dealership and was escort straight to the cashier to pay for the outstanding balance for the 4 days for checking my check engine light issue not for once the service technician sit down with me and discuss the diagnostic report the problem i had with my car i was immediately shown my outstanding bill that came to Over $1000. I paid it of course But the End Result was Nothing has been FIX My Check Engine light issue Still on and iam $1000 out of my pocket normally after a service your car would provided a complimentary clean inside and out but my was left unattended.. I left that dealership thinking to myself did that just happen shaking my head in disbelief!! That was a bad experience for me periods...Vw Can't Fix Vw Cars they have my Car for 4 Days and can't Fix it .. Finally would I recommend this to my friend? What do you think? We liked the vehicle and were interested in negotiating a deal on the car. Sat down with the salesman and the "Manager" The manager asked us how we were going to pay for the car and we advised them we were going to pay cash. He told us we could not pay cash for the car and the only way we could purchase the car was to finance through the dealership at 8.5%!!! We couldn't even buy the car at sticker price with cash or through my own financing! No where in the add did it say "Financing only" This seems like false advertising! Felt like a sketchy used car dealership! I'd avoid this dealership. More
If you buy a car 🚗 at that dealership you have to get on your hands and knees to check out the car 🚗 under it or if you find something wrong with it a couple days later they say it was not there when you l your hands and knees to check out the car 🚗 under it or if you find something wrong with it a couple days later they say it was not there when you left with it so l would not go to by a car from them anymore so look out and the car was dirty now pick up so just be careful if you go there Thanks More
