My personal experience at parkside. walked into parkside a few weeks back looking to purchase a new vehicle. I was uncertain and kinda dreading the experience due to the week of pushy, walked into parkside a few weeks back looking to purchase a new vehicle. I was uncertain and kinda dreading the experience due to the week of pushy, rude, shark salespeople. I was greeted by a large kinda intimidating man.(Nathanial Foster) Although at first I was a bit intimidated, he shook my hand with a big smile and asked how my day was going. Right then and there I had felt comfort I had not felt during that week at other dealerships. We spent about a hour going over vehicles pros and cons and cost. In the end I did not choose to buy anything. I honestly would have bought a truck if I could afford so, and look to go to Nathanial once I can afford one. It was by far the best salesman experience. Insulting low ball trade in value Went to look at a used 2014 Ford Flex. Salesman was amicable until he presented me with low ball offer for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. I was offered $24000 at a different dealer just days before. I've got $3000 in aftermarket parts on the jeep. Parkside offered $17400. That's insulting. When I mentioned the $3000 in extras he simply said that I could take them off. I personally will never step foot into this dealership again. More

Don't buy Ford!!!! Shady poor service A one day repair took over a week My one day repair took over a week because the person assigned to me was away for two days unexpectedly on a A one day repair took over a week My one day repair took over a week because the person assigned to me was away for two days unexpectedly on a Friday and Tuesday of long weekend and no one else could cover. I paid for rental longer due to this. Was told by manager rental would be covered due to my Inconvenience please keep in mind this is 5 days into my rental. I Was quoted 100 for alignment as all other costs were covered by my extended warrantee that the service staff apparently confirmed this was hold hold up on repair as person who was dealing with warrantee coverage was away Friday and Tuesday and confirmation of coverage was sent to her only so I needed to wait until she returned to work to confirm coverage . the other cost was for my deductible for my extended warrantee that I purchased through ford. service staff was not able to tell me the exact amount of my deductible but said approximately 100 I was brushed off and told they would look into it further. Finally received a call a and was told my bill was over $641 due to some things not being covered by warrantee the same warrantee confirmation I waited for in the beginning where only one staff was able to deal with. The same staff who told me all covered but alignment. So I was told car was ready to go they are open until 6pm surprise not actually ready ok another day for rental. First off how do you go from 100 for alignment and $100 deductible to over $641 and why was I not called before the work was done to approve the additional costs a second manager gets involved was pleasant and again confirms my rental would be covered I pay the outrageous bill I just want to leave and be done with it. I was told to leave the rental at Ford they would deal with it. On a positive I get a call from manager later that day to say I was over billed and Ford gives me back $277 now I feel better still over billed but I don't have to pay rental I can live that. then that week my credit card is charged for rental. I call manager she says she will get it straitened out. Two weeks of these phone calls of how she will fix it. Then I get a call from this same manager to say they did not agree to pay that many days ???? Two more weeks of unreturned messages and and finally another message about how she has been so busy but would now like the name of the first manager I spoke to who told me they would cover my rental. Keep in mind this is the same manager who agreed to cover my rental after the first manager said so and without question of how long I had it. ( FYI I had rental from day I dropped off my car to day I picked it up ) This is a month later soooooooo nope don't have the name of the first manager I spoke to. In the end they had poor service. Over billed without authorization for costs. Attempted to correct the problem however still left the customer with high repair bill and excess rental costs due to all of the delays and lied about paying rental several times so still waiting but not holding my breath about being covered for rental. I will never buy a ford again. I will tell anyone who will listen DO NOT BUY FORD. According to reviews all great in sales once you sign it's all over but the crying. More

Terrible after sales service Bought Ford Fiesta from them and good sales service, but not so good warranty service. Have transmission issues (Ford Fiesta). The dealership acknowledges my vehicle needs clutch replaced. Ford acknowledges the issue on Fiesta's in general and has extended the warranty on Fiesta transmissions for this issue (instead of issuing an official vehicle recall) and I also have a used car extended warranty so you'd think I'd be in pretty good shape to have this fixed. Despite all this, it's been eight months with this issue and the dealership has not fixed it. First appointment I arrived and they told me they have to reschedule - the transmission guy was away the entire week (not sure I buy that). I kept phoning and checking and they told me the parts (Fiesta clutch kits) weren't in and blamed in on Ford. They were terrible at keeping me updated so I called them once a month. I finally got fed up and called Ford Customer Care centre. The service manager apologized but said someone left and my file got misplaced. They then booked an appointment for me but changed the date three times. When appointment day came I showed up at 8 a.m. like they said and they told me they could not do the repair (Thanks for phoning and letting me know). The clutch kits had to be returned back to Ford parts and apparently Ford is shipping the dealers new ones. I don't know if this dealership is just that inept or can't be bothered to fix what they sell or giving me the run around. It's a shame as aside from one other brand of car, I've been buying Ford my entire life. They can boast about their warranty, but in the end your warranty is only as good as the dealership. More
