This week I purchased my second Toyota Highlander (Hybrid this time)from Geordie at ToyotaTown. The experience was great both times. LaToya was excellent. Nothing but good things to say about her. But I don't get what you guys are doing there. I walk in and all the desks say "go out to the garage". I wonder out there and no one even notices I'm there. I'm not sure if I should interrupt someone, if I should line up somewhere, if someone has even noticed I walked in. They had me an elevelope to fill out and just disappear. I finally waited enough that I went outside and put it in the box as if I came after hours. When I go to pick up my car it's the same thing. I just stand around trying to look as confused as I can and hope someone notices. I finally interrupted someone and he couldn't even hear me because some sort of loud work is being done and quite frankly, he seemed a bit annoyed that I needed to talk to him at all. I was quoted $500 for a key. For a key. I was quoted $145 from a third party. Honestly, I'm going to look for a third party for maintenance as well at this point. If I'm going to be paying $170 an hour I guess I'd like to witness something a little more professional. Doesn't help that you closed down the cafe either. The optics of that shuttered feature says a lot. More
Very disappointing and unprofessional experience, made worse by prior history with this dealership. We came in specifically to view and test drive a Honda CR-V Hybrid. The vehicle was shown to us, we completed the test drive, and we returned fully intending to discuss pricing. Only after the test drive — and after investing our time — another salesperson informed us that the vehicle had “just been sold to someone else.” There was: • no prior disclosure that the vehicle was under offer • no transparency before the test drive • no attempt to give us first right of refusal • no respect for the customer’s time We asked to speak with the sales manager, expecting a professional explanation. Unfortunately, the interaction with management was equally poor. The manager was dismissive, rude, and lacked basic empathy or listening skills. Rather than acknowledging the situation, the response felt defensive and indifferent. What makes this even more frustrating is that we are existing customers. We previously purchased a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited from this dealership. Since then, servicing the vehicle has been a constant struggle. Getting a service appointment is consistently difficult, communication feels automated and impersonal, and overall it feels like dealing with robots rather than people who care about their customers. Between the sales experience and the ongoing service issues, this dealership has completely eroded our trust. The lack of accountability, empathy, and basic customer care has honestly made us reconsider the brand altogether — we no longer want to own a Toyota because of this experience. If a vehicle is already sold or under active negotiation, it should not be used to draw customers in. Combined with the poor after-sales service, this dealership clearly does not value long-term relationships or customer respect. There are many dealerships that sell the same vehicles. This is not one we would recommend. More

Rather than acknowledging the situation or taking responsibility, the tone was defensive and indifferent. If a vehicle is already sold or under active negotiation, it should not be presented to customers or used to draw them in. At best, this reflects poor internal communication. At worst, it feels like a deliberate pressure tactic. Between the lack of transparency and the manager’s attitude, this dealership demonstrated zero respect for customers. We left with no trust and would not recommend this dealership to anyone — especially those shopping for high-demand vehicles like hybrids. There are plenty of places to buy cars. This is not one that values professionalism or basic courtesy. More

My experience with Shawn from the time I ordered my new vehicle until the delivery of my car was outstanding. He was very thorough during the whole car buying experience.
