They will tell you they are giving you a deal by giving you a bunch a warranty’s in replacement of their dealership fee when in reality it is 2.5x the dealership fee, which is also usually already included in their MRSP. Also added on winter tires when they are pricing it out and quoted $2200 that would otherwise be $1500 on their website. More

An hour later Garth phoned to let me know that diagnostics and the repair tech had changed that to $500.00. Subaru could have told me the initial estimate was correct and I may never have been the wiser. I have dealt with Subaru City since 2019. They have always provided good service. I will never buy or support Subaru again as I’ve experienced two incidents that are not acceptable. When I spoke to the dealership they asked me to bring it in but when I got there it worked fine as the vehicle had warmed up enough that it worked fine. It is still like that 5 years later not allowing me to use it in extreme cold weather. Second, when I went to put oil in the first time I was not sure what grade of oil to put in as it is not in the manual. I called the dealership and was told to put in 10w30. I discovered later that that was wrong and may have caused the leaky seals I now have. Not good customer service. More
