We had looked into many different cars and dealers before coming into Subaru, many of them would be considered "luxury brand" category. None of them came close in comparison. You can tell Alejandro and Mike are passionate and care about the product they offer, and it really does make all the difference in experience. More

One day we saw the Spring finance deals so we… Contact Us> Meet Our Team> Robert Ruffolo> read reviews> COOL! Called Rob, chit/chat no pressure… “we’ll call you to see about taking a test drive.” “Okay!” Driving by one Saturday morn, we popped in… unannounced, lots of stuff going on… someone asked if he could help us? “Is Rob in?”, “Ruffolo?”, “that’s the one!”… Rob came out, very cool and composed, probably thinking “who are these guys... did I miss an appointment”? We figured we’d just say “hello” and come back when it wasn’t too busy… well… Long story short… in no time we took out two cars, solid test drives mind you! Had everything “Subaru” explained to us clearly, concisely and professionally. I mean EVERYTHING! …if he would have flipped us a couple of Subie t-shirts, we would have stood on Yonge Street campaigning for him as Prime Minister! ...okay maybe, "Best Sales Guy That Day". A few weeks later we went back, we actually made an appointment. He and Michael Tran (very cool guy too) set us up with a wonderful 2017 Legacy. Thank you both (especially Rob) for the painless and rewarding experience! Ps. I remember Michael saying, "Congratulations and welcome to the family! You now have two new brothers, here." That was very cool thing to hear. I never got that at Toyota, Ford, and certainly not GM. ~ Michael. The two managers we spoke with Scott and Sam were also very helpful. This dealership was a little out of the way for us but it was worth the drive. They made the car buying process very easy. I would definitely recommend Richmond Hill Subaru based and make sure you ask for Alejandro. I have not had dealings with the service department yet so I can't comment on them. More

We went on two test drives with two different models over a two week period. He showed us all the features on both cars and explained (very clearly) the differences. Overall a great experience! Once we decided to buy - about a week later, the process was very pleasant. The business manager, Michael Tran was also a pleasure to deal with. Once our second car bites the dust I will be going back to this dealership, hopefully these two gentlemen will still be there. More

How Not to Buy a Car From Richmond Hill Subaru I entered the dealership in April 2017 having my eye on 2 subaru Legacies on the lot. Both had been sitting on the lot for a month. As our god given I entered the dealership in April 2017 having my eye on 2 subaru Legacies on the lot. Both had been sitting on the lot for a month. As our god given right is to haggle and work out a great deal for oneself on used cars, I attempted to submit an offer to Richmond Hill. They immediately rebuffed me and said that most of the customers come back and they don't need to offer deals. Their prices are firm and that's it and if you decide you want to come back up and offer us a deal again, P, please don't waste your time. Nice. I attempted after seeing said vehicle still sitting on lot and not to be put off to offer another alternative in the form of getting free service appointments thrown in on top of paying their asking price but I was rebuffed again. I wasn't haggling on price but trying to get added value. The salesperson - Mark? - stated hey, we can give you a free keychain if you like. I found out later he was general managers/owners son. Nice x2 Last time I went up to the dealership because I did like the car and it was still not selling a week later, I presented another offer. The other son was there - yup, a family affair - was there and was the acting manager that night. The sales person who was a really nice fellow went up to the reception and the son to tell him I was interested in trying to work something out for the car. But because there was a gent there buying a brand new sportscar that was the highest priced vehicle on the lot, he completely ignored me and had another manager? come over and loudly without introducing herself at all so that other clients could hear state You've been here before P and you dealt with Scott and HE TOLD YOU WE DO NOT NEGOTIATE!!! the manager? not. Embarrassed and insulted? quite. I was with a friend and he was equally shocked and we both just walked out. Nonetheless, I filed a complaint with Subaru Canada about the treatment at Richmond Hill Subaru and they stated that they would follow up with the dealership within 5 days. After not hearing anything within the 5 days, I contacted Subaru Canada. They stated that the Subaru Canada representative spoke to the dealership and that I could either wait another 5 days for a response or followup with the dealership. I called the dealership and was called back the next day by Mr. Scott Pearl. Got that? Good. He asked me how he could help me and I told him I was urged by Subaru Canada to contact him to work out our differences and proceed from there. He simply and coldly stated The car is now sold. Dead air..... silence..... not a word after. I uncomfortably said thank you and hung up. No apologies, no let's talk about this, nothing. Ignorant and rude. Never ever have I ever undergone this type of treatment and I've bought many cars over the years. As they told me they housed the largest amount of used cars than any richmond hill dealership in the Toronto area and of course, because they were so horrid in their attitudes towards clients that they won't move any product! No thanks, Richmond Hill Subaru, and the Pearl family, I bought a car elsewhere. More

A week goes by and when I bring in my car for service, I had to ask about my loaner to the service advisor. He than goes on and asks me my age and says since I am not 25 (I am 24), he cannot loan me a car and mentions he could lose his job. Points to a car outside and says we have to fix that loaner (implying a young driver). What kind of policy is this? Isnt this something that should of been brought to my attention when I initially booked the appointment? I left the appointment and did not get my car serviced. I feel extremely disrespected and feel that due to me not being 25, the service advisor implied I am a bad driver and I could damage the car. I am also Asian and felt this person snuck in a couple deragotory remarks. Never taking my car here again. More
