I’ve leased three RAV4 Hybrids from Mississauga Toyota over the past 9 years and was preparing to buy a fourth — until my recent service experience. This spring, I noticed a significant drop in fuel efficiency on my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. When I called the service department, I was told by Albert that my mileage was “normal” and similar to his own. I followed up with a detailed email to the service manager requesting diagnostics — but received no response at all. I then took the vehicle to another Toyota dealership, where they performed a throttle body and EFI system cleaning. The issue was immediately resolved, and fuel economy returned to normal — confirming there was a clear and demonstrable cause. While I’m still happy with my RAV4 and plan to stick with Toyota, I’ve lost confidence in Mississauga Toyota’s service support and will be purchasing my next vehicle from a different dealership. More
Been a loyal customer for a few years and for the most part the dealership experience was decent. Easy to book service appointments, average wait times, but the main reason you buy a Toyota is for its rel part the dealership experience was decent. I’ve been hyped about the RAV4 Prime since it was announced. Had a $1000.00 deposit on the vehicle early on but quickly realized it was going to be a while before I was able to get one. Purchased a 2021 RAV4 Gas model in the meantime. Fast forward to October 2024 when I finally got the call that the Prime was coming in (3 years later). Salesman called when the vehicle came off the truck. On delivery day, I noticed a minor dent with a crease in it. Must have happened during PDI or in the showroom. Unfortunately I did not want to pay $70k+ for a brand new vehicle with a dent. Sales person offered a repair solution but did not want to go down that route. I asked for another vehicle and walked away from the deal. Got notified shortly after that the dealership did not want to order another vehicle, nor do business with me in the future. I was refunded my deposit and left in shock. Dealership must have taken it personally. Not once during this did the sales manager and/or owner apologize for the mistake. I guess this is how they do business. If you want to buy a vehicle from this dealership, I would personally look elsewhere unless you don't mind customer service like this and please do a good visual inspection of any vehicle before you take delivery. More
My 2014 Toyota Matrix has received excellent service since I purchased it in 2014 and is still running beautifully thanks to the superb and knowledgeable staff. I always get my car serviced from Mississauga Toyota! As always, the service is always outstanding and within the set timeframe as mentioned by the service department. Most of the time the service has been taken care by Matthew Piazza (Service Advisor). A really wonderful guy taking care of all the service issues regarding my 2018 Camry. He is very customer focused, provides solution to service issues, understands the requirements and provides valuable suggestions/inputs. Thank you Matthew for your dedication and helpful nature. service advisor Michael was great. Got oil change done but noticed that windshield washer fluid was not topped up. Not a big deal but this is the second time this has happened. It makes me doubt if they actually checked or lubricate hinges and check wipers etc since they didnt top fluids for the second time even though it is stated on the receipt as done. I paid 110 dollars for an oil change so the least they can do is actually check what they write down on the receipt. More
On 11/21/22 in for Service & tire change. Noted on 427 Hwy sensor light flash on indicating low pressure. Returned on 11/26/22.
