Where to being?... After less than a year of having my Where to being?... After less than a year of having my new MINI cooper I noticed that I had moisture build up in my head light. I contacted the Se Where to being?... After less than a year of having my new MINI cooper I noticed that I had moisture build up in my head light. I contacted the Service Dept to schedule an appointment to have only 1 option available to me that fit my schedule which was Saturday's at 8 am. I went in as scheduled and they advised me that the headlight needed replacing however, they did not have the part available and would have to come back the following Saturday at 8 am to replace. I revisited them to replace the part that was ordered - they replaced it. OR so I thought...After checking the car before I left the moisture was still the same. I went back in and spoke to John and asked if they replaced it...what happened in fact was they ordered me a fog light and replaced that although that was not the light that needed replacing. To only hear that my fog light had corrosion build and "thankfully we replaced that one". Again, I had to visit the service dept for a 3rd time on a Saturday at 8 am to finally get the correct light replaced. When leaving I mentioned that I wanted a service manager to contact me and 3 weeks passed with NO phone call. I made the initiative to call back in 3 weeks later to an answered call by Mike (Sales Manager) detailing my complaint in regards to the poor service and that I still wanted a service manager to call me. He assured me that this would happen. 1 month later still NO call!!! Today my service engine light came on and so I called the Service dept to schedule an appointment. John answered the phone and mentioned to me that my options were to come in before 1 pm weekdays only and OR leave my car overnight as Saturday they do not have diagnostic technicians on site. I told him that wouldn't be an option as I work weekdays but am willing to leave my car if needed over night if they comp a loaner car to me. John was EXTREMELY rude in asking "what would you like me to do?" to then tell me I cannot help you! I asked to again have the Service Manager call me (got his contact info his name is Sebastian) and asked when I would expect a call back and John's reply was: I will leave it on his desk maybe a day or two. I will NEVER service or purchase another vehicle from MINI Vaughan West - I have in fact moved onto MINI Oakville which provided EXCELLENT customer service! More
He is a liar. They have horrible hours. No courtesy car on a mini cooper classic STILL under warranty, had timing chain problem, oil in the car was worse than TAR, had to walk home, after 4 days of compla on a mini cooper classic STILL under warranty, had timing chain problem, oil in the car was worse than TAR, had to walk home, after 4 days of complaining got a courtesy car, after $2000 plus in work(covered under warranty) they kept the oil in and didnt change it. ALSO, forgot to put the air filter bolts back, it was rattling for days they told me the car was fine and I opened the hood.. WOW, no bolts attached the airbox was banging against everything, thats when I checked the oil, they never changed it. They said thats not covered under warranty, so if the timing is off and the oil gets burned due to bad combustion, it's not covered. WHATEVER BUD! just went back again couple months later because now the valve cover gasket is leaking, couldnt make an appointment antime after 12pm any day. that's their 'policy' wants me to leave the car there, NO courtesy car... oh wait sorry, there is one, but it costs 35 dollars... whatever that means. These people are ridiculous, always trying to tell you to come in at 8am like I dont have to go to work or something. These people are stupid. The best part was when john said "these timing chains need replacement all the time, don't worry." thanks john, that's what every car owner wants to hear. More
