Having not purchased a car in a very long time, I was a kind of shocked by the $999 administration fee. Also, I would highly recommend less upsell when finalizing the final purchase price of the vehicle. It would be much more comfortable for the buyer if the dealership could openly publish the additional coverages, warranties, and protection packages available beforehand. That way instead of a high pressure upsell, you would be given an opportunity to preview and digest the services offered. Then leisurely decide which ones would be most beneficial (and affordable) for yourself. Straightforward! Upfront! AND way less pressure!!! Please do not show me a picture of a car falling apart as a scare technique to convince me I need additional coverage. Does Honda Canada not stand behind the products they create? I am buying the Honda brand! The Honda quality! The Honda endurance! I am in no way blaming your Finance Dept, because I am convinced that the "team" is required to do it this way. This is simply a suggestion of how Honda Canada overall can improve their services. Overall, (and mainly because of Pierre), I would still give this dealership a 4.5 to 5 star review. Sales Dept - A +. Finance Dept - C-. Especially if the dealership and Honda Canada take into account some of the suggestions offered by the buyer when seeking feedback. More
