Note for Estero Bay Chevrolet service department, interesting Perez and Jayhan the service reps need to be tuned up! There told to do a multi point inspection on a vehicle that was going to travel 2000 some miles and it wasn’t checked over very well at all, coolant problem easy to spot, transmission fluid wasn’t even registering on stick almost 2 quarts low, do you think they checked anything else I doubt it very much, you know if they didn’t check the transmission fluid they sure didn’t stick there finger or look in the rear end or transfer case fluid, I trusted them to do a multi point inspection, I picked this vehicle up on a Sunday, service dept wasn’t open, I would think if this vehicle would have blown up or transmission would have went out even sold as is with a good lawyer Estero Chevrolet would be towing and putting new engine and transmission in for lack of there responsibility to check a vehicle over and send it out on the road with an out of town customer, I know two service people and possibly a third the tech who worked on it would be down the road without a job! Again Paola Olivo was a great sales lady to work with went out of her way to help: J R was also a great guy to work with and went out of his way to help: the service department at this dealership sucks, I got the paperwork that they did a multi point inspection of the used Jeep I had bought and they didn’t do squat: it’s a good thing I decided to check for myself down the road on fluids and such, it was low on coolant losing it somewhere, and the transmission fluid didn’t even register on the stick it was almost 2 quarts low, I had to drive this Jeep back to NW Minnesota, I understand what bought as is means but doing a multi point inspection and not topping off fluids and checking vehicle out is completely out of line! After working on vehicle on the road got coolant problem solved, after arriving home and checking transmission leakage discovered rear tail shaft seal on transmission leaking, again they could have checked transmission fluid level and seen that it was low and topped it off and it would have been fine all the way home but if it would have went out they would be fixing: the other thing about this dealership is the way their set up for buying a used car, when your paying cash or cash electronic money transfers you should be able to pick up your used vehicle with title and leave to go home but not there, they want you as the customer go through this title and license company they use that charges the crap out of you! I called the State of Minnesota and they even said do not buy a car in Florida without getting a bill of sale and the title when you leave that dealership, and yet when you ask Estero Chevrolet they will tell you that’s the way it’s done in Florida which is not true! I bought another Jeep less than a mile from Estero Chevrolet and I paid cash got the Jeep and the title and drove away home. I’m still waiting for a title and I bought that Jeep in early March around the first week. So I could only suggest watching this dealership when doing business there, they need to make changes especially on used car title and sales and the service department certainly needs a good house cleaning and tune up cause their certainly not doing there job!! Dean, first, GMS had no bearing on the deal. I was the only Dealer to honor GMS thru the pandemic, chip shortage and Hurricane. But you are probably already aware of this. Your truck was on order and You introduced a trade two days ago that you wanted $4,500 over sticker for. I offered $49,000. You asked if I would do an in and out for $55,000 because you work at Sarasota Lexus as the used car Manager. I say OK, trying to be accommodating. All I wanted was a Wholesale buyers order and a check, pretty standard I would think for a used car manager. You call back and say $52,500, what happened to $55,000? I get you $51,500 from a friend at Ford so we can do the deal here and make it easy. You then say you want us to drive it to you(65 miles) and deliver it plus put the WHOLE price on a credit card. I told you we have a $2,500 maximum. We get past yet another hurdle and we go to do the tag work and the trade hasn't even been put in your name. So I legally couldn't even sell it for who knows how long. When we told you we can't do the deal until it's in your name your response was "I'm going to blow you up on social media" Not sure how you do business at Lexus of Sarasota, but that's not how we do business here.
