A friendly buying experience This past weekend my son lost control of our 14 year old car that he uses to drive into the city for colleage. The accident caused significant damage This past weekend my son lost control of our 14 year old car that he uses to drive into the city for colleage. The accident caused significant damage to the front end of the car. Given its age, we decided to not repair it and instead look for a newer, but not new, replacement immediately. Needless to say, the pressure was on to buy a car quickly which was quite stressful. We first went to a used car lot and that was a disaster. When a business looks like an old beat up used car, well you can imagine how poor the cars are too. We had searched online of course and found a used Kia at Donnelly Mitsubishi in Kanata. This was on our way home so we stopped in. The Kia was gone, but Chantal quickly showed us two other cars that met our criteria. She knew all the details about the cars or quickly found the answer to our questions. She came along for a test drive that included stop and go traffic, highway driving, and some country roads. Chantal provided the history of the car and assured us that it would be ready for pickup in 2 business days. Her colleague, Ben (the Financial and Insurance Manager), discussed the financial options in an clear manner with no pressure. We quickly finalized the purchase and signed the vehicle purchase agreement. Two days later I arrived to pickup the car. It was ready to go, as were all the documents. Chantal and Ben were both busy so Georges, another colleague, went through everything and very soon I was leaving with my new used car. Chantal, Ben, and Georges were wonderful to buy from and I will highly recommend them to family and friends. More

Suprised I went into Donnelly Mitsubishi expecting to have a hard time purchasing a used vehicle (like I always do) but ended up purchasing a used RVR and bein I went into Donnelly Mitsubishi expecting to have a hard time purchasing a used vehicle (like I always do) but ended up purchasing a used RVR and being happy about it. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at that dealership as no one attended to us, the salesman that started a conversation with us left abruptly in the middle of our conversation and the graphic designer at the branch had to attend to us. Still interested in a Mitsubishi, I decided to go to the Donnelly location instead and had a completely different experience. We were attended to right away by very pleasant staff. The salesperson, Ibrahim, was very friendly and informative. He answered our questions clearly, helping us make our decision with ease. Though I had a disappointing experience at the other location, Ibrahim and the Donnelly team restored my trust in Mitsubishi. More

Great sales department, lousy service department I love my Mitsubishi. I have been a Mitsubishi owner for close to 15 years. Thank goodness they are reliable cars, because if I had to rely on the s I love my Mitsubishi. I have been a Mitsubishi owner for close to 15 years. Thank goodness they are reliable cars, because if I had to rely on the service department at Donnelley's, I would not have a hope in xxxx. You are lucky if they ever answer the phone. Calls are seldom returned. They rarely initiate a call to let you know the status of your vehicle. The service folks are sweetness and nice when they are in the wrong or are unable to help you, but as soon as you demand compensation for your time and effort (like going there 6 times before a minor problem is fixed) they get snotty and condescending. Yay - Mitsubishi has a ten year warranty. Boo - I have to deal with this service team for the next ten years. I will be checking out the other Mitsubishi dealerships to service my car. Might be worth a trip to Carleton Place! More
