Great service from sales, great service from finance Had a great experience working with Philip and Ali in Sales and Julia and Alan in finance for my 2017 Jetta Wolfsburg. Throughout the process they were extremely helpful, knowledgable, and professional. I brought my car back to the dealership to get a swirl mark fixed that was made when I noticed a paint scuff on delivery. The experience I had with sales/finance was the opposite experience that I had with the assistant sales manager, Shaun Openshaw. Never have I seen a car salesman take making a deal on a car so personally. If the deal wasn't good for the dealership, why did you make it? Sorry you're having cold feet, but telling a customer that you got a bad deal so delivering a car with defects is acceptable? (to paraphrase "we have never made a deal like that so to be honest I'm not putting a penny into this car"). At no point did I ask for the car to be repainted or a new clear coat put on, that was your rabbit hole. Philip was able to get the majority of the swirl mark out with some off the shelf polish to my satisfaction. That was all that was required, but instead I got unprofessional, not-my-problem, my feelings are hurt Shaun. The single star has Shaun's name on it unfortunately because overall, the experience was excellent at Capilano VW. I'd recommend Capilano and the team to friends, but not Shaun. More

They went to great lengths to find the specific model/package I was looking for in the colour that I wanted, and gave me an excellent price on my trade-in. And although I already thought I was taking advantage of a great deal with the offer of 0% financing, I was surprised that the arrival of my car on the lot coincided with an additional promotion for bonus cash back! This major purchase of my first brand new vehicle was made easy by Garry, RJ, Julia and the team at Cap. Thanks so very much - I LOVE my new car! More

Highly recommend cap VW service !! I recently relocated to an area where there is no VW dealership in close proximity. In fact, the closest dealership is 1800km each way. I called cap V I recently relocated to an area where there is no VW dealership in close proximity. In fact, the closest dealership is 1800km each way. I called cap VW as I have had my car previously serviced there when I lived in Van. I have a 2015 VW Jetta so it is still under warranty and my engine light came on. VW Canada told me the car had to be taken to a dealership for warranty work. So i then called cap VW and I spoke with Moe on the phone and he walked me through some different things to try and the engine light ended up turning off with his expertise!! He saved me a massive hassle and headache. More

My parents, my siblings and my self and my spouse all drive VWs, and although we've all driven other makes of cars, we always return to VW. In 2011 I began my relationship with Capilano VW Sales, Service and Parts department. In my opinion, I am very pleased with the past 6 years from Capilano. I have NO complaints. The wait time to get serviced is more than fair, the quality is always right, and all of my warranty items have been honored. Thank you Capilano Service for 6 years of Satisfaction!! More

They said they were very busy, and even though I have two kids under four and need my car desperately, that it would still take over a week before they could start on my car. After many persistent calls pleading for faster service, my car was partially diagnosed for $260. They estimated at least two more hours to diagnose and at least a thousand in repairs and told me my car wasn't worth fixing. I ended up towing my car to West Motors where they fixed it the same day, whilst charging much more reasonably. My car is running great and the service was a million times better. I will never, ever step foot at Capilano VW again. More
Being Jerked Around. My experience at Capilano VW has been extremely poor. They were unprofessional, belittling and time wasters. I recently went into their facility My experience at Capilano VW has been extremely poor. They were unprofessional, belittling and time wasters. I recently went into their facility to test drive one of their used vehicles. I provided all of my information and even asked if I can put in an initial offer. I was told to wait a couple of days so that the sales associate can communicate with the manager. I understood and kept SMS throughout the week with various offers back and forth. We ended with a number that was in the middle. I responded that seems fair and that I would like to make an appointment a couple days later so that my GF can see and test drive the car before siting down for a deal. (We both had to take time off from our jobs to make it to North Vancouver). The communication was throughout the week and even received a txt to speak with the manager as we were walking into the showroom for our appointment since he was not available that day. As we were greeted by the manger Bobby Ezharie (Who wouldn't even give me his card- had to find the last name online). We were told that the car that I was interested in was already sold. I asked him that if he was sure since I have been messaging his associates throughout the week and even the day of the appointment. (Somewhat shocking!) The manager was unapologetic towards the situation and only escalated it by spilling legal verbiage of refundable deposits and that communication via txt or phone is not law binding where only in-person first come first serve is the only way to do communication for used vehicles. He (Bobby) was also hostile towards my GF at times and felt deflective. I even looked at the other sales associates to try to calm the manager down since my GF wasn't even involve with this situation and that he should be really communicating with me if he wanted to be hostile. It was an extremely weird and awkward situation to have the customer be more calm than the sales person. I wanted to point out that at this point of time I wasn't even upset about the car, I know you can not conjure up another used vehicle out of thin air and I was more upset at the lack of communication, the feeling of deceit and the wasting of my valuable time. Honestly I just felt a bit jerked around. At this point standing in the middle of the showroom, all I wanted was a sincere apology and maybe a heads up if a similar vehicle was to show up on their lot again. Both of which I did not received from the manager but another sales associate did provide his card and was apologetic. Based on the reaction of the manager, I do feel that he “or his team” had something to hide and that there was some sort of inside awareness to their “regular” customers. I guess that what you get when there is a car that was too good for its price. (Car's price was recently lowered) I just wanted to share my experience at this dealership with everyone and heck congratulation to the person who bought the used car that I saw, it is a good find. You might want to make sure that check engine light warning was taken care of before you picked up the car. (Just a heads up) It is also funny that as I am typing this review up the day after this experience I did not get a txt or message from the original sales associate apologizing to this situation. (SMS / TXTs that was communicated are available to be posted upon request if anyone is interested for verification) More
