Appointment on May 1st for tire change was long and delayed by a shortage of skilled technicians and the subsequent discovery of further service need for rear brakes . I had a service appointment for our RDX in early April. This was to remove snow tires, install summer tires and other services related to my Acura Precision package . The work was well done but I had a discrepency on the services included in the precision package . I decided to follow up with the service manager . Following 5 tries .. so no returned call to me. I’ve even left a voice message with the General Manager. NOT IMPRESSED. Following the service call, they send you a text message asking to inform them of any issues with the service . I asked to speak to a service manager .. still no returned calls today. I realize that people are busy but seriously , it shouldn’t take weeks for a service manager to return a call . More

Our buying process from beginning to end was excellent. I went there for service of my RDX 2019. I have bought an extended warranty for the car, from Acura advantage Plus for the cost of 4,500$ +tx. Which i tough they should be familiar with. I had to explain what the extended warranty is to a service employee. I had a faulty radar (the SUV only has 60,000km and already needs a new radar! Go figure!) The work order should’ve been done within 2 days (they needed the piece delivered) and they had the car for over a week. They did not give me a loaner car (which is included in my extended warranty). Alek , the service guy, did not try and help me accordingly. All he kept telling me is we cant release your car until the bill is paid in full. Which is understandable, but he had already gotten the approval of payment from Acura Advantage Plus. They had confirmed the payment would be done and a check would be received within 30-45 days. He refused and asked for a payment right away. Which then he required my presence to go threw the paperwork. I showed up there around 3:30pm and for 1:30 hour he was not able to get anyone from the extended warranty department to answer the call for the payment. I just wanted to pay my portion and leave with my car, They tried to make me pay the insurance portion of the bill if i wanted my car back! Even tho they had a written approved payment from they’re sister company! I am not able to pay for 3,000$ worth of repairs, as i already have to pay 1,000$ for my portion of the bill. My portion includes: oil change, brake fluid change and the radar calibration. Which totals: 1,000$ plus the Acura Advantage Plus portion would be a total of 3,000$ to be paid. (Just to make this worst! Acura Advantage Plus had agreed to replace the radar and pay for the labour but refused to calibrate it?! I have to pay 500$ to calibrate the piece that is covered? Does that make any sense to anyone??? But again i agreed to pay the extra 500$ as i had no choice in the matter). I have never had this issue with Lexus dealership. I am very upset that i chose Acura over Lexus. I am now without a car for over a week and no help from anyone from the dealership. Please avoid Camco Acura Service department for your own sake! And make sure they dont keep your car hostage like they’re doing with me ! Extremely bad service save yourself a headache! Btw they still have my car !!! Day 9 today!! More
