I found Brady to be most helpful and extremely capable. He went out of his way to make sure that everything was done to make me satisfied and happy. I would deal with him again He went out of his way to make sure that everything was done to make me satisfied and happy. I would deal with him again More
CORRUPT, CROOKED, DECEPTIVE, ROGUE. That’s my opinion of Boucher Hyundai, Finance Manager, JR Rauth, and General Sales Manager, Ryan Fitzsimmons. If you have done business with this d That’s my opinion of Boucher Hyundai, Finance Manager, JR Rauth, and General Sales Manager, Ryan Fitzsimmons. If you have done business with this dealership, I strongly recommend you and an attorney or CPA audit your documents. I leased my 2020 Tucson SEL from Boucher Hyundai November 21, 2020 and returned to them February 12, 2024 when I wanted to do a lease buyout because my buyout/total purchase price from Hyundai Motor Finance was $18,361.38, which gave me some equity in which I intended to sell my low mileage, perfect condition vehicle. But the loan crooked JR Rauth wrote was for $20,036.48, which stole away some of my equity. The higher the loan, the more kickback the dealer receives from the bank. For the next two months, he evaded giving me a plausible, convincing reason why my loan was for so much more. Numbers just didn’t add up. During that time, I also emailed General Sales Manager, Ryan Fitzsimmons, my concerns over this discrepancy, but Ryan never responded to those emails. After two months of intentionally vague and evasive responses from JR Rauth, he finally revealed in an email dated May 4, 2024 that “The price of purchase of the vehicle was $1000 more here at store level. I don’t know how else to explain this to you. We seem to be going in circles. Do you want to come in and go over the numbers again?” THAT IS ILLEGAL and VIOLATED my original lease agreement with Hyundai Motor Finance which contains the pre-determined, fixed amount (residual value) of what my vehicle will cost if I elect to buy it at lease maturity. It is a binding contract I signed with Hyundai Motor Finance, and whether JR Rauth likes it or not, is a BINDING CONTRACT, one in which JR cannot go rogue and decide he’s not going to honor because it doesn’t make him enough commission. But he indeed did. He also added $1105.48 sales tax to the loan that was already included in the lease buyout quote that Hyundai Motor Finance says I should not have to pay because the sales tax I owed was already included in the lease buyout. I’m also now starting to question if the credit union offered me a lower interest rate than what JR Rauth quoted me because he refused to show me anything from the bank. My credit score was 782 and I paid 6.9% I’m going to try clarify if that was changed, as well. He really stuck it to me, but I believe I’ve got the law and a binding contract on my side. I am in the time consuming process of alerting the local media outlets (one has contacted me back so far) and have been filing complaints with multiple applicable agencies, including the FTC. Hopefully Boucher Hyundai will be audited. If you find you, too, have been deceived by Boucher Hyundai, alert the FTC for a violation of the Consumer Leasing Act, Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, the BBB, Department of Motor Vehicles, the local media investigation division, etc. If that doesn’t get you appropriate restitution, file a small claims action. Watching The Homework Guy on YouTube is a helpful , educational resource to watch. More
