Between my husband and I we have purchased 5 Honda vehicles in the last 8 years from Blue Mountain Honda and the reason we keep going back to both Honda and this dealership in particular is because of vehicles in the last 8 years from Blue Mountain Honda and the reason we keep going back to both Honda and this dealership in particular is because of the excellent quality of vehicle that is produced by Honda and also the excellent quality of service that we have received from Ward Bond and his employees. We've had to go through so many cars because of the changing needs of our family, a deer and a texter. There are no high pressure sales tactics and they team is always ready to answer any and all stupid car questions I have without making me feel like an idiot. We will be Honda customers for a long time coming. Thanks Ward and Derek for the great job that you guys do every day. More
First off watching how the owner treated some of his employees made me almost want to walk out of the door 10 minutes into getting into the dealership. Yelling at them and telling them they are useless employees made me almost want to walk out of the door 10 minutes into getting into the dealership. Yelling at them and telling them they are useless in front of customers. Secondly Ward Bond, the owner and Derek Gray, the sales manager, seem to be so incompetent that both should be fired. Both seemed to have no real people skills. Seemed very rude and made me feel unimportant. If it was not for Honda making such great vehicles these two would certainly be running this business into the ground. I did however have a great conversion with one of the salesperson there however I was only there to browse. On my way out both Ward and Derek approached me and asked me very personal questions about how I was treated by the salesperson like almost trying to get some dirt on him or something. It was very strange and that’s when I decided to go to Barrie where I bought a Honda and had a great experience. After talking with friends in the area they too have had bad experiences there. They say the salespeople are great but the owner almost stalks you from behind like he is checking to make sure the salesperson is not saying the wrong things. Another friend also told me that Blue Mountain Honda's prices are a lot higher than other dealers around the area. I also found out that the turnover rate of salespeople there is ridiculous. 18 or so people of been hired and then left in the last 18 months, not good when you want to talk to a professional about a Honda and the person just started working there. Also what does that tell you about management if so many people have left? Just venting to warn people they are in for a rollercoaster ride if they are looking to buy there. Thanks. More
