It took 5 hours to complete 2 recalls on my seatbelts and airbags. Appointment was at 7 am on May 14, 2024. I asked my service advisor Efrain for a status update via text message on 4 3/4 hours. I sent 2 text messages with no replies from Efrain. I finally received a text my vehicle was ready at hour 5 from Efrain. I texted that I was at his desk and me and another customer stood there waiting for 10 minutes. It’s the worst customer service for all Toyota dealerships that I have experienced. I’ve owned 5 Toyota cars and SUVs. I plan on never coming back to this dealership. I would never buy a new vehicle from this dealership. Also many customers that dropped their vehicle after me were departing with their repaired vehicles. My vehicle had low air in all 4 tires wit the low pressure warning on my dashboard. . There was no courtesy check on my tires. An older African American gentlemen who valeted my vehicle told me to go to the mechanic bay and ask them to check my tires. He didn’t want me to have a blow out. His kindness made my day so much better. More
I showed up a lil early to my service appointment. Had no issue waiting but I sat in my car for 40 minutes before anyone walked up to my car to ask me what I needed. Meanwhile you got 4 dudes just big chilling right next to me. Some were techs and the others no clue. Oil change, tire rotation and car inspection took about an hr. Which I guess is a bit long considering an oil change can take 15 minutes. That’s all. More

I brought my car in for scheduled maintenance. It was my first time in the service department. I was attended to quickly. Service only took about an hour. Let's talk about the service department. I have a 2021 Toyota, and had a near flat tire. All tires, etc. under warranty. I came in for my 3:20 appointment. I needed a patch for a tire. I was told that it would take them 2 hours to get to it and I would have to leave it overnight. It was almost flat. I had no ride home, so there was no way to leave it. Alex, the service advisor or whoever he was, REFUSED TO GIVE ME HIS LAST NAME and was extremely rude and NOT helpful. I left and went to a "ma n pa" place and paid out of pocket. It took them less than 20 minutes to fix it. I will not be back to South Toyota. Matter of fact I will drive to Research or San Marcos if I have to next time to avoid this South location nightmare. Why schedule an appointment if it can't be honored? What if I had a blow out on the highway? I don't know why I'm paying every month for an extended warranty for tires, if I can't even get them taken care of. Mrs. Gordon More
