I recently purchased a pre-owned 2023 QX60 and decided to take the car in for an oil change. After all, customers are paying a significant premium – by my estimate, roughly 35% more – with the assumption that this reflects highly trained staff and proper equipment. That was not my experience when I took my car in yesterday. From the outset, I was presented with recommendations for additional work that was unnecessary. Some of these items, such as air filter replacements, had been completed just a year ago, and my annual driving is under 5,000 km. Suggesting these again as “critical” is ludicrous and raises concerns about highly questionable upselling practices. I was also given a list of items they claimed to have checked “for free,” which is hard to take seriously given what followed. Shortly after leaving and merging onto the highway, I noticed a warning light and that my tire pressures were not displaying. Assuming it might reset after some driving, I continued home, but the issue persisted. When I called my service advisor, Amanda, her immediate response was to suggest that I must have driven over a nail on the way out. That kind of instant, customer-blaming reaction was both surprising and inappropriate. When I pointed out the improbability of simultaneously getting nails in all four tires, she asked me to bring the car back. I returned the next morning, spending an additional hour of my time commuting back and forth. The issue was fixed quickly but there was no explanation and no apology for the shoddy work. The speed of the fix only reinforced the reality that the vehicle had not been properly checked before being released the previous day. This entire experience reflects a troubling combination of poor quality-control, unnecessary upselling, and dismissive customer service, all while charging premium prices. The inconvenience, wasted time, and lack of accountability are simply unacceptable. If there are no warranty considerations tying you to this dealership, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at 401 Dixie INFINITI. I purchased a car in October 2024 from salesperson Faizan Mir and sales manager Lou Al‑Najjar. As part of the negotiation, Lou promised me two free oil changes. The first oil change was booked for April 2025 by Faizan, and I was told the second would be scheduled when I came in for that appointment. Lou himself confirmed this. In April 2025, after completing the first oil change, I asked Faizan to book the second one. He told me to call him in November 2025 to schedule it, and I specifically asked him multiple times to note this on my file. Fast forward to November 2025: I called the dealership only to find out Faizan no longer works there. When I spoke to Lou, he flat out denied the agreement, saying there was nothing on my file and refused to honor the second oil change. This is completely unacceptable. I did everything I could to make sure this was documented, and yet the dealership is now refusing to stand by their own promise. It feels dishonest and unprofessional. Once they got the sale, they clearly stopped caring about the customer. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from this dealership. If they can’t keep their word on something as simple as two oil changes, how can you trust them with something bigger? More
Do not under any circumstance, finance a car with Dixie Infiniti. I did, mistakenly. They listed a VW I wanted for a great price. I wanted to pay cash but they explained it was only available at that rate if I entered a financing deal that would entitle me to a $1500 rebate after six months of payments. The finance rep, Matthew Dorosti, verbally assured me it was simple and straight forward and my OTD would be $1500 less than listed price. I went through with the very cryptic and poorly explained payment schedule, having to consistently follow up with Matthew about timing and appropriate amounts. None of this was outlined to me in a professional manner. One year later, with my car seemingly paid off, I am faced with an additional $550 in interest, completely unbeknownst to me. Mr. Dorosti not once intimated there would be interest and assured my OTD would be $1500 less than listed price. It was the only reason I signed up to this very nebulous financing deal. Their finance head manager, Lou Al-Najar is no more professional than Matthew and showed no integrity in resolving the matter. The general manager, Ali Raza, didn't even have the courtesy to return my calls. Stay well away for these con artists. More
I just bought a pre-owned suv from this location I don’t normally do reviews but I had to review my sales rep. Imran is one of the best sales reps I have dealt with in a long time. He made us feel so comfor normally do reviews but I had to review my sales rep. Imran is one of the best sales reps I have dealt with in a long time. He made us feel so comfortable did not pressure us at all. He made sure I was 100% happy. What a great guy.
