What Others Say

If I could give zero, I would. Had a deal done over the phone, Deposit given on my end, then had a phone call saying the General Manager " out bided " the deal and the price went up by 2K. We are from out of province, so angry! . STAY AWAY

Absolutely do not deal with this dealership. Horrible experience in every aspect and I would advise anyone to basically deal with any other dealership than them. Honestly, have dealt with them twice and I got ripped off and their finance manager was spilling coffee and having panic attacks in front of me and they didn't give me my paperwork on the vehicle until a week later! Didn't even clean the vehicle well and soaked me for my trade in. Also didn't tell me all the accidents the recently purchased vehicle had been in. Complained and did absolutely nothing for me - couldn't even give me like a $10 gift card for all the issues I went through - worst customer service ever!!!!!!!! The people I dealt with in management aren't even listed on here lol

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely fantastic experience! Sales Manager Lance was amazing and made sure I got a great deal. Herbert, my salesman, was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient throughout the entire process—never pushy, just genuinely focused on helping me find the right fit. Mike in finance made everything simple and stress-free, helping me get everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. From start to finish, the whole team made the experience enjoyable and pressure-free. I truly felt like they wanted the best for me, not just a sale. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the outstanding service. Thank you all so much for your help!

My recent service experience at West Edmonton Hyundai was extremely disappointing. The last oil change on my vehicle was performed at this dealership. Shortly afterward, I brought my vehicle in for an unrelated coolant concern. During that visit, I was advised that my turbocharger was leaking oil and needed to be replaced at a cost of approximately $3,600. Given the size of that repair, I sought a second opinion from an independent repair facility, Sandy Lane Automotive. Their written inspection found that the turbocharger was not leaking or failing. Instead, they documented that the engine oil level was significantly overfilled (approximately 1.3 litres too much) and that replacing the turbo would not have resolved the issue. The independent shop completed the corrective repair, which involved cleaning oil-contaminated components and replacing a damaged intake tube and seal. The total cost was over $1,100. I provided this documentation to West Edmonton Hyundai and requested reimbursement. My interactions with the Service Manager, Alanna Stokes, were very discouraging. I found her responses dismissive and abrasive, and she was unwilling to meaningfully address the independent findings. I also contacted the General Manager, Robbie Gordash. While he was polite in his communications, it took a long time to receive a response, and ultimately the dealership declined to provide reimbursement unless I returned the vehicle to them for re-inspection. I was later offered store credit for future service, which I declined as I no longer feel comfortable having my vehicle serviced at this dealership. I also requested internal service records and verification related to the oil change (inspection checklist and oil dispensing records). I was told only that their system is programmed to dispense the correct amount of oil, but no documentation was provided. What is most concerning is that I was initially advised to replace a turbocharger that did not need to be replaced. Had I not sought a second opinion, I would have spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I am sharing this experience so other customers understand the importance of getting a second opinion and being cautious with major repair recommendations.

If I could give negative stars, I would. My experience at this dealership was extremely disappointing. I felt pressured to make decisions without sufficient time to consider my options. I also had a very unpleasant interaction with a sales manager named Hamad. In my opinion, his approach came across as aggressive and unprofessional, and I left feeling that I was being taken advantage of. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be very cautious and to do thorough research before dealing with this dealership.

I purchased a 2023 Hyundai Palisade from West Edmonton Hyundai in November 2024. Initially, I had a positive experience. The vehicle looked great, and when it unexpectedly caught fire, I was provided a loaner vehicle right away. I appreciated the quick response and thought I would be supported through what was a traumatic situation for my family. Unfortunately, the professionalism ended there. Once an investigation began and it became clear the fire was caused by a repair that had been done prior to my purchase — a repair I was never told about and later found out was completed by West Edmonton Hyundai — communication from the dealership stopped entirely. What followed was silence, misinformation, and a complete refusal to provide basic service records. I’ve been dismissed, deflected, and treated like a problem for simply asking for transparency and accountability. This review isn’t about blame. It’s about how a dealership chooses to treat a customer when things go wrong. In my case, West Edmonton Hyundai chose silence over support. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from this dealership.
