It did take some time in Finance(Not their fault). Was having some difficult securing a bank to the monthly price we wanted, but persistent until they found one. Explained everything in detail and not in a hurry. Very impressed.

Our New Kona Has Been great, but I did find a few matters that I had to find out myself about the car and warranty that Larry Miller did not point out, example, 24 hour road service, how the AI lane change works, a bunch of settings on the LCD display to check or uncheck for a lot of the automatic features. I was NOT provided a Locking lug nut remover for the locking lug nuts and that took a special drive clear into Hyundai on a day we had to take our own time to take care of.

After initially agreeing to an extended warranty that I was told could be cancelled anytime, I came to the decision that I did not want the warranty. I called the day after the purchase and stated I wanted to cancel and was told someone from financing would get back to me. I waited just a few days with no contact before reaching out again multiple times and even leaving a voicemail with the financing director stating my desire to cancel and requesting a call back ASAP. After almost a week of no response on multiple attempts I physically went into the dealership to speak to someone and cancel. I was told I can cancel the warranty but that the cutoff for having my payment adjusted was the end of the month which had passed just a few days prior and that I was stuck with my payment. It seems as though the financing department was aware this would happen and waited for the cutoff time as I had called well before the month ended trying to request cancellation. Not only that, I was told they (Donnovan in Financing) were waiting for my partner (male) to confirm the cancellation even though he is not and was not part of the sale, transaction or financing. The entire transaction was done in my (female) name and with my information. Why would they want him to make decisions for me?! Unacceptable.

*UPDATE- Was finally able to speak to Jeff Alves the Financing director. He was understanding and apologetic and was able to resolve the issue with the warranty and financing. I would still suggest NOT speaking with Donovan in financing if you can help it as he rushes you through the process, is not clear on the terms, does not provide full details and seems to only prefer to only speak to males. All other employees were pleasant.
