I was conned out of $180 for the service center’s mistake. I came in For an oil change and was asked if there were any issues that may need attention and I told them my AC was blowing out warm air. T mistake. I came in For an oil change and was asked if there were any issues that may need attention and I told them my AC was blowing out warm air. Then after they did the multipoint inspection The service advisor told me how much it would be to fix the issues and I told her that that was way more than I could afford to spend, and I would just stick to the oil change, then I was told that she had to check and make sure they hadn’t already started the service on it, even though she never had my approval to begin with. Then she said they had already put in the dye to detect if there was a leak, which I never approved and they didn’t even test it to see if charging it would suffice ahead of time, then I was forced to pay for that when I could have gone to my local autozone or mechanic and just put freon for a few bucks. Unacceptable and unprofessional. More
