Later that same morning check engine light came on & took it back to dealer for same . Turns out it was a cracked block with coolant in cylinder. I did find out this is a common problem for eco boost engine by all tech specs and other literature found Repaired under warranty. for 2018 for Ford Edge with 36k mile ( purchased as new when Roush Ford ) Ford HQ has reimbursement for rentals due to the length of time vehicle could not be be used due to parts delay @4weeks. However, the Valley Ford dealership & Service director James Holley did not or would submit to Ford HQ. He did not respond to multiple request for follow up via email on reimbursement of $800- for out of pocket rental. When Mr Holley finally responded after 6 +months, his email said to call Ford HQ for reimbursement and they said it was too late with policy change 2 months prior because I did not use a Ford rental car. I used Turo non Ford for $800. A Ford at any branded Car rental was $70-$80/day x4 weeks is @ $2,100 -$2,400 and they would have paid that- not bloody likely. I also set appointment for service roughly 10 days in advance. Needed tires brakes, oil change. Got a quote for tires, brakes.& small dent repair as i had purchased when new for non-paint dings Was ok with the quote for tire/brakws "pleas order the tires/parts so I don't have to wait". Dropped car off at dealer Sunday after hours day before using key drop box for Monday morning with notes for the brakes per quote, Tires oil change & vehicle could be in body for work done in between while waiting for the other services to be completed. A call at 4pn in the Monday afternoon "...what are doing to the vehicle" Oil change brakes, 4 tires. Oi; will be done today, we have to order tires. 3 days later later in afternoon still no tires, do want us to do brakes we can get other tires. Quoted me tires not in stock. You cant fix this level of incompetence.. Picked up the 2018 Edge purchased at this dealer Thurs morning as Wednesday as itt was too late "...we are closing in 5 minutes" per service advisor. On may way home ordered same tires as on vehicle ( when new on same day- Thursday) at another shop. They we delivered next day Friday and installed following Monday morning. In other words do not waste time going to this dealer .due to the poor, poor, service More
Do not trust any quotes/estimates given from this dealership. The shop quoted me 6 hours plus the initial 1 hour of diag to replace a simple variable valve solenoid located under the valve cover. Thi dealership. The shop quoted me 6 hours plus the initial 1 hour of diag to replace a simple variable valve solenoid located under the valve cover. This was verified to be a 1.4 hour job plus the diag from 2 separate labor sources (Alldata and Mitchell). The same part number quoted was replaced just under 2 years ago and when asked about this being under the 24/unlimited miles warranty, they stated that the other bank solenoid was replaced. They were not able to prove which bank was replaced. I ended up calling another local dealer to explain the situation and they agreed to replace the solenoid for the 1.4 hours with no diag. They stated that several of there customers had nothing good to say about Valley Ford. There is a reason why they are changing the dealer same so frequently. They need to clean house and start over, especially the service department. After explaining this to my coworkers, we will be moving our fleet work to another location. This dealership is a prime example of why technicians get such a bad reputation. Please do yourself a favor and go to any other Ford dealer. More

I would like to start by saying if you have a poor experience with this dealership, please report to Ford Customer Care!! Dealerships hate when the review is provided to Ford as it could potentially t experience with this dealership, please report to Ford Customer Care!! Dealerships hate when the review is provided to Ford as it could potentially take from the dealership’s bonus and incentives! Or even the number of cars Ford provides them to sell on their lot!! Make sure you fill out any ‘How did we do surveys’, too. Customer service is atrocious at this dealership! They tell you that they won't provide you with a loaner vehicle - however, if you have a 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty they are REQUIRED to provide you with a loaner or set you up with a rental car for 10 days. I confirmed this through Ford Customer Care. Ford actually had to call and tell Karen at the dealership the requirements! Yikes!! Sounds like they are taking advantage of their customers. I reached out to my sales guy, Kristian, to see if he could assist me with getting answers and he didn't respond. That is poor service - he gets the commission then ignores you. We will no longer be working with him! Also, the service dept has no communication skills and refuse to answer any of your questions. I reached out and left many voicemails - never heard back. Actually, I started to show up and between showing up to the dealership and having Ford Customer Care involved, that is the ONLY time I received answers. When you do reach out to James Holley - the Service Director that you see responding to all of the poor reviews, you won't receive a response (at least, I didn't!). And no one would provide me with Jason Schaub's phone number, the GM. I have details typed up that I will be providing as far up as I can to Ford - I plan on it getting to Bill Ford as luckily I have family that works for Ford and have contacts. This dealership represents Ford poorly and should have the Ford name revoked from the dealership! BEWARE! They will get your sale (in our case, 2 cars - totaling $100K only 4 months ago) then treat you like crap when you need service. Luckily, Ford Customer Care was on my side and helped me. Roush has lost my husband and I as customers. We will continue to tell everyone to STAY AWAY from Roush.... More

I called back on the second day and the recptionist was rude and I tried to call sales to get the services department and that lady was rude. I understand you are busy, but that doesn't explain why the employees are rude. I WILL not EVER bring my car to your place and I will also let anyone I know that is thinking about your place the experience I have had. More

First, I would like to say in all my past visits I have had A+ service. This experience however didn't go so well. I brought my F150 in to get a oil change. I also shared that I noticed oil spots on the t had A+ service. This experience however didn't go so well. I brought my F150 in to get a oil change. I also shared that I noticed oil spots on the tailgate and thia I received a low oil pressure light. After the Oil change they confirm that there was an oil pan leak (This is the same issue that I had serviced 9 months prior). I made an appointment to bring the truck back in because I needed to have a loader car. I dropped the truck off on 5/3/21 for the oil pan service. After a week I had to reach out for an update. I received no communication from the service center. I initiated all contacts except for the final contact to let me know my truck was ready. In past services I would with a person named Destry that provided me with updates every few days. when I used the text option this visit that was provided, I received zero response. I picked the truck up on 5/14/21. After leaving the lot I noticed a odd noise. I persisted the rest of the day. I called back in on 5/15/21 and returned the truck later that day. I had them listen for the noise and also pointed out the oily hand prints left on the hood after the service. The determined the noise to be a drive train issue and made some calls to have me leave the truck behind. they were able to provide me with a rental again. I received a call Monday Morning that the founf the issue and resolved it. I picked up my truck and asked what they found. they informed me that the heat shields that had to remove to replace the oil pan were not reinstalled properly. When I left and got home I noticed that I still had the oily handprints on the hood. Less than 48 hours after picking up the truck I was shocked when my truck displayed a CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON warning light. I was able to pop the hood and check the oil and see that oil levels were normal, they failed to reset the oil setting after the oil change. More

She told them she was bringing me up there since I was the guy who installed it. Suddenly an hour later my sis gets a call back that it was programming. Yes she's a woman but to intentionally try to take advantage of women for lack of knowledge is foul. Won't happen twice. I bet I never recommend my customers to them!!! Nice try wrong guy and girl!!!
