I went in after work and the salesman showed me the car I was looking for. He asked if I wanted to drive it and I said yes. He said he would be right back but never came back. After 45 minutes I decided to l was looking for. He asked if I wanted to drive it and I said yes. He said he would be right back but never came back. After 45 minutes I decided to leave. I came back another day to give them one more shot and asked if they had the vehicle in a particular combination. The salesman said no and that I would just need to come back every couple days to check for myself. I ended up at buying from another dealer. Sales staff here is lazy and unprofessional. Would not recommend this dealer to anyone. It’s likely that they pre-judged by my car I came in. I have news for the sales staff. A car that has been paid off for 8 years leaves a long time to save for the purchase of a new one. I paid almost full price, financed, and added 5 additional products in finance. Rock Honda blew it on this one. More
I had a pretty bad experience over the course of two weeks.. I would like to start off by saying I am happy with the truck I bought and the sales person I Delt with, Sam. I delt mostly with Carlo weeks.. I would like to start off by saying I am happy with the truck I bought and the sales person I Delt with, Sam. I delt mostly with Carlos though, however, the used car sales manager. I would like to note here that Carlos never talked numbers with me but sent me all the way to finance as if his number was the only one; finalized, no negotiating, despite some dings to the truck that I brought up, clearly wanting to talk price or negotiate a little off. I choose to believe that I was so caught up that I was buying my first truck that I let some red flags fly that I shouldn’t have. The first one being Carlos telling me that wheels and tires were extra and $5000 but he would give it for only $1000 over the asking price for a “wheels and tires package“ and that they were new for the truck. (I thought this was off but aesthetically it looked beautiful) I looked at them and noticed the open country all terrain tires and knew they at least weren’t dealership tires for the car so I didn’t think twice. For reference, I bought this truck at night after it was washed and everything looked all shiny - so things were a little harder to catch. My wife pointed out (after I bought it and got home) that not only were the wheels and tires not new, but clearly used and had marks all over them, including scuffed up rims. Additionally, I was not able to catch a crack in the windshield and the third tail light that was out, even though I was shown the inspection sheet, and that everything was passed with flying colors. I chose to let these two things slide because I was still super happy with the purchase overall and I signed all the paperwork. Fast forward to the next afternoon, and I get a call from the finance department telling me I need to go bring them the convenience check from my bank. Well, apparently, the finance department was proposing an 84 month loan to show my payment at the price point I wanted. (I said I wanted $500 or less and they got me down to 499). However, my bank only approved 72 months (which I showed the finance department during the time upon signing). This made my payment $91 higher than what I signed for at the dealership. It is really hard to go back on a sell at this point when you’ve already had the truck for 24 hours and your trade-in is long gone. Even if I did back out at this point then I don’t have a car. So fine, I guess I will eat that too. Fast forward a week after having the truck and we get a rain storm in Southern California. the second row carpet gets soaked with water. No windows open but a leak from the outside of the truck, arguably the third break light after some testing on my end. Now I would like to emphasize that I am a very patient person and the last thing I wanted to do is to ever write a review, especially because I am very limited with my time as it is. But in hindsight, I definitely feel like I was played, and they knew they were taking advantage of a young guy, ecstatic to buy a truck. Carlos pushed me off after I said I wanted to buy the truck, in a respectful way, but to my interpretation of a “good riddance” scenario. the finance gentleman was confused as to why I was in his office if I hadn’t even seen a single number up to that point regarding trade in value or sell price. This confused me to but I’m not familiar with the car buying process and just played along because I assumed this was the norm. Fast forward til today, two weeks later, and I had to go in to pick up the sale paperwork for my own records, because it was not given to me at the time of purchase. Additionally, I mentioned the problems that were happening to see if they could at least repair the windshield or check out the leak out of Courtesy since the car was in their possession for a month and I was less to believe every issue was repaired or up to standard. I genuinely do feel that they just didn’t know themselves about the issues and not that they More
So honest truth and honest story. .. At this point I'm struggling to stay "nice" while they give me the run around. Probably one of the most dishonest line of work to be apart of. Eith .. At this point I'm struggling to stay "nice" while they give me the run around. Probably one of the most dishonest line of work to be apart of. Either they sold me my Honda Civic Hatchback Sport with the undercarriage of the front bumper of the car pretty much gone or somebody came by at night while it was at my house and did damage to it. Bought the car in August of 2022 and took it in to get fixed October of 2022. Went in and they ran a diagnostics on the vehicle, after the diagnosis they told me that I'd be paying 1300 for the parts and labor. I said ok and have been making payments on that price ever since. The parts were not there at the time so they said I can take my car back and bring it in when the parts got there. They told me the parts would be there in a week from October first. Then they told me a part got pushed back till the 25th of October. The 25th of October came and parts were still not there. November came and parts still not there. All the parts got there on March 13. Five months for what was supposed to be a relatively quick fix. I finally take my car in. The awesome employee that was working there got laid off. They put a new person on my case. All that was supposed to happen was that I bring my car in and they do the fix and I walk out of there right? Nope. They say that i didn't pay for labor and that labor would cost me 195 dollars. I told them that I only signed off and am paying for the 1300 dollar price I was originally given because that included everything. They said there was no receipt on file for the labor and so I said ok maybe they're right. They run diagnostics on the car after that and say that all the parts that I ordered need to be mounted on the bumper and that because the bumper was damaged they need a new bumper. I told them that's what I was told in October so that isn't new news. "I thought the bumper was included in the original 1300 dollar price", i said, "no it wasn't and because of that you actually have to go to the auto body to get your car fixed", they replied. They recommend a car auto body that they give business to. After the car is taken there, the person on my case called me and said the auto body told her that it would cost an additional 700 dollars to fix everything. I'm thinking ok it went from 1300 to 1495 to now 2195. Maybe that's the end of it all right? Nope. Now the auto body guy calls me personally and says that they don't have a bumper and that the 700 dollar price that was quoted didn't include the bumper. The bumper is going to cost 400 dollars. So here's the math again... it started at 1300, then went to 1495, then went to 2195 and now the new price of pretty much 2600 dollars. Currently the guy at the auto body shop told me that he'll have "the girls call me to give me the logistics on payment". So if this trend is right, I should expect "the girls" to give me another mark up on the price. At this point I'm trying to pay whatever I need to pay and get my car the xxxx out of there. I've learned my lesson dealing with "car salesman disguised as mechanics"... More
I've been on the market for over a year and found the car I wanted but the price was a bit more than what I wanted to spend. I had the pleasure of working with Leo and it's not every day that you deal with I wanted but the price was a bit more than what I wanted to spend. I had the pleasure of working with Leo and it's not every day that you deal with honest salespeople but Leo gave me the exact out the door price as requested with no upsell. I'll definitely come back and work with Leo in the future if they have anything I want on their lot. More
I would never buy a car from this dealership. We believe we were victims of a "bait and switch" attempt. Came in for a red Civic Touring hatchback. Were first told by the salesman that a touring wasn't available in that color? (it certainly was). Then that they couldn't get one in red but could in an upgraded color (sonic gray) for the same agreed price. Fine. We kept asking to make sure, this is the touring hatch, correct? He went back and checked twice, yes. When it came time to sign papers, my husband noticed not only was it a sedan and not a hatchback, but it was not the agreed upon color (this vehicle was meteorite)! The salesman laughed and said twice, who caught it, was it you? (Pointing to my husband). Everyone apologized and the salesman swore he would do everything in his power to get us the car we agreed upon at the price we agreed. The manager even signed the paperwork before we left. Never heard from them. Two days later we went to Weir Honda and got the car we wanted at a price that was fair. Enough said. More

Rock Honda has always been a problem for me since buying my Type R there. shortly after buying my car i started getting 2nd gear grind and took it in to them stating they couldnt replicate the problem which my Type R there. shortly after buying my car i started getting 2nd gear grind and took it in to them stating they couldnt replicate the problem which i understand as there is alot of Type r vehicles with this problem. I just wanted to get it documented if anything was to occur later down the road which something did happen. At about 10K miles my transmissions 1st & 2nd gear completely gave out i could no longer go into 1st and 2nd was very rough barely going in after going back and forth with the dealer they stated i would have to pay a tear down fee for them to inspect my car to see what happened when i was under full warranty still only 10k miles on the car. after all this back and forth with them my car was at the dealer for 31 days before i finally got my car back with a new transmission. i asked about a loaner car after a week of them having my car and they claimed they didnt offer them but after 3 weeks they finally decided to get me one which at the beginning they lied about them not providing loaner cars. i was ready to speak to lawyer to lemon law the car since you can if your car has been at a dealer for 31 days in general whether consecutive or not. Now 2/15/2022 about 1 year later my car transmission is having the same problem i am having a really tough time getting my car to go into 1st gear it still does go in but you need to more so force it in. i took my car to the dealer today and again i am having the same bad experience they now want to charge $1500 to tear down my vehicle to inspect what the problem is and if i dont approve which i didnt they told me they cant do anything about it that i have to reach out to honda corporate to have them assist me with this stating this was the process which is another lie since i didnt have to do this before they did all that and got approval from them to tear down the car and not charge me they are stating it can be my clutch and flywheel which i dont get why since its the same problem i had last time. i now have to contact honda corporate and create a case to get my car fixed when all i should have to do is take it in and have them inspect it. i would understand if i had to go through this last time but i didnt they did all of this and i now believe they are not helping me since i made a big deal about it last time and are retaliating against me now for that reason. I spoke to Evon Medrano and she stated they could not do anything for me that her director was the one giving her the message to pass down to me. i asked her for the General Managers number to speak to him or be connected to him to speak about the issue and was shutdown claiming he had nothing to do with this matter. as a General Manager he is in charge of the whole dealer hence any important matter relating to his dealer is his responsibilty and from being a GM myself should be important to him. I chose not to leave bad reviews about my experience last time but with this occuring again its a must i hope the GM reads this and gives me a call about this matter. i am currently waiting for honda corporate to get back to me about this since i just made the claim today i will now have to figure out how to get about my day and work another way since i dont want to drive my car any more for they to claim that i further damaged it by driving it and they wont cover the repair. i will be speaking to a lawyer on this matter and if my car does not get fixed i will proceed to lemon law the car as i will not be paying out of pocket for a repair from a manufacturer defect will keep this post updated to see what happens in the coming days.
