Robbie seems like a good guy. He was accommodating and friendly. Everything was great until we took the new van to get checked out. We found it had a bad valve cover gasket that was leaking oil into the alternator. Almost $2K in repairs two weeks into ownership. Robbie refused to pay for the repairs or even to help us at all. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth as we drove 3 hours to buy from him, spent a considerable amount of money, and he assured us this car was in perfect shape. More

We found Robbie to be a dishonest dealer, and a reason why car dealers get a bad reputation. We looked at a BMW 128i on his lot. According to the Carfax report, it had been at Prime Time Motors for a ve why car dealers get a bad reputation. We looked at a BMW 128i on his lot. According to the Carfax report, it had been at Prime Time Motors for a very long time. We asked Robbie about that and he denied it, claiming that it was his "personal vehicle" that he was now selling. He claimed it was in great shape and needed no repairs. We should have known to run away then. We took his word for it and made a deal. Less than 20 miles (literally) after driving it off of his lot, the check engine light came on. Additionally, several warning lights came on about the traction control and stability control systems. Frustrated, we called Robbie and asked him to cancel the sale and return our money. He refused. He insisted we bring the car back to him to have him look at it. The car showed error code P0171, and Robbie claimed "I guarantee you that's the evap system". Uh...no. The evap system has it's own error codes (Google search it). That was another red flag. We left the car with Robbie while we went on our honeymoon. We picked it up and brought it home. As it was a warm day, we turned on the a/c...only to discover it doesn't work. Then the very next morning, the right rear tire was flat and showed clear evidence of having been driven on while flat previously. We again called Robbie and asked him to refund us and take the car back. He refused. He then claimed that the air conditioner "isn't supposed to come on if it's cold outside". What?? Utter nonsense. We also found that the side view mirror doesn't adjust and the car is leaking oil. We got frustrated with him, challenged him on his claims, and again pushed him to take the car back. He refused, telling us we bought it and we're stuck with it now, then hung up on us. The car is now in the shop being repaired and we will be pursuing Prime Time Motors through court to recover our losses. Beware, Robbie tries to be a slick talker, but may sell you junk and leave you holding the bag. More
