During our visits to this Dealership over the last decade, we always knew that we paid probably double for the service just to have the "Porsche Dealer Stamp" on our maintenance logbook. This practic decade, we always knew that we paid probably double for the service just to have the "Porsche Dealer Stamp" on our maintenance logbook. This practice will end today after the experience on 4/9/24 with them on our 996 Turbo concerning the Service Tech, Michael Sarantidis, who behaved in a totally juvenile and unprofessional manor with us. We left (1) inquiry on his phone asking about a "Video" that was texted to us which we desired to have Emailed instead. This "person" then proceeded to RAGE at us about being harassed continually for 10 years and he was "Fed up" with our calls. We bring (2) Porsches there and purchased (1) of them a few years ago. The General Manager (Dave Zoloto) saw this exchange with us in the Service Office and told (us) to "calm down" instead of taking the baby aside and disciplining him in private. He even witnessed me handing and Michael ACCEPTING a $40.00 tip and thank you card before the "Berating" from this jerk. This has been reported to Porsche Corporate and we hope for some sort of "closure", if possible, with these heathens. We hope others see this review and visit another Dealership or Local Service Centers as we have. Dave and Dianna More

The car was delivered without topping off fluids so I had to add coolant less than a 100 miles into the drive, not a big deal, but disappointing. The vehicle would not start for the second day of the trip due to a bad battery and required a jump start. The car is less than 2 years old but when I called Porsche Scottsdale I was given the used car sales spiel of batteries can go bad at any time and without warning. The average life expectancy of a battery is 3 to 5 years, not 2. I spoke with the used car sales manager and a technician via telephone and neither one of them cared at all and even laughed at me for making the complaint. I spoke with the general manager and received the same treatment. I would expect better customer service on a $70,000 car. More

2 cars I inquired about were not ready to sell yet. Pictures were not available. I'm not sure why they started listing it. 1 car needed to go to Tesla dealer to get fixed. 2nd car was in their shop, Pictures were not available. I'm not sure why they started listing it. 1 car needed to go to Tesla dealer to get fixed. 2nd car was in their shop, but didn't say if it was for repairs or to get prepared / detailed before sale. They took my phone number to call when they are ready to sell. Too bad as I am actively looking now. Without seeing the cars, their asking price seemed reasonable (for a dealer). More

The service mechanics and quality of the work is absolutely zero. After months of trying to figure it out I found many parts were not put together after the worked on it. Unbelievable careless workers . Do not give your porsche to these guys . It will come back broken and xxxxed up More

Came with the part needed on time for the service appointment and was told I can’t bring my own genuine Porsche part. After explaining I was not told I could not bring my own part, they finally took my car in for service. After an entire day as I waited for the call to come and get my repaired car they sent me a video of all the work they wanted to do over and above the reasonI brought it in for service that totaled over $7500 more than my initial service appointment quote. When I declined the additional service work they refused to work on my car. Wasted my time after waiting a month waiting for the appointment. They mark the parts prices up over Porsche retail in some cases double depending on the part and the labor rate is like hiring an attorney. More
I have been trying to get a 992 Turbo S allocation for YEARS. Yes, years. For years I've been on the "wait list". For years I've been waiting patiently to get to submit my order. I've always been told YEARS. Yes, years. For years I've been on the "wait list". For years I've been waiting patiently to get to submit my order. I've always been told I'm about a "year" out, regardless of whom I talked to. I called roughly every 3 months to see where I was at on the list, and unsurprisingly it never changed. Then, finally I was told the truth. "Steve you will never get an allocation because we have customers who order 20 cars a year from us, and they will always get it first." Oh I'm so sorry I'm not on your "cool customer list". I wish you guys would just be honest, that you're just a dealer with a serious case of nepotism and unwarranted self importance. It would of saved me a lot of time, but then again I read the rest of the reviews here and it all clicked for me. Just like all the rest of the penske dealers in this little strip, steer clear. More
Poor sales experience- unprofessional and deceitful, lots of undisclosed "policies" and ultimately have no problem wasting your time. Called on a new $220K Porsche over the weekend to get info. Thought i of undisclosed "policies" and ultimately have no problem wasting your time. Called on a new $220K Porsche over the weekend to get info. Thought it would be super easy. Sent me the cars available and pricing. I'll take this one. Gave them info on my trade-in. I didn't hear anything back. Weekend passed, then Monday, then Tuesday I finally called them back. "lemme talk to my manager" Huh? These days I'm able to get a price online pretty much within a hour. Finally at 8p on Tuesday night, I get a lowball offer. Carfax trade in value of $88K; they offered $60K. $28K/ 32% difference. Wow-- I waited 3 days for that? Took the car to Carmax, who offered to buy or trade in for 80K. Swung by Porsche North Scottsdale to see if we could work it out. "We don't like that model of car, do you have anything else you could trade?" uh, no. I asked, "well can't you just trade it and then sell it to Carfax or someone else"? Long BS ensued about Penske "policies" prohibiting wholesaling. Ok I give up, I'll just sell it local, and then buy this car. "Nope-- we have a policy that we can only sell you this car with a trade in". What a colossal waste of time. Just be upfront about all your BS and pricing and policies. It's so unfortunate because as much as I love Porsche cars, dealers like this really make me question why you'd want to settle-- certainly on a luxury brand-- for really poor service and business practices. And ultimately sour me on the brand. And reading the other comments about not being able to get service appointments or loaner cars...maybe I dodged a bullet. If it's this hard to give some $220K, I can only imagine what the after sales support and service must be like. More
