I trust you received my emails and voice mail as I was reaching out the past week to explain the situation and circumstances associated with the issue. I am sorry to hear of your vehicles engine troubles and I understand the inconvenience and repair costs associated with your engine concern and can sympathize with you. We are customer focused first and will always advocate on the customers behalf with the manufacturer. We did our best to advocate on your behalf with the manufacturer and have spoken to the Acura representatives that are needed to approve the check request for the repairs preformed on your vehicle at the independent shop. Your 2015 RDX with 74,000 miles is outside the manufacture warranty on both time and milage so an exception would need to be made from Acura, on occasion depending on the circumstances we can get different things approved but we were declined in this case. What makes your circumstance a little different is the elected repair was done at an independent shop instead of at a certified Acura Dealer so that limits the dealer’s ability to assist you with the repair and possible reimbursement from Acura. That’s NOT TRUE!! You all have NOT returned my calls or helped me settle this issue. BRAKES AND ROTORS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY WITH ACURA!! I have not heard from anyone at PHIL SMITH ACURA SINCE 10/15/2022! You all sold me a car with issues that was in FACT ACURA CERTIFIED!! Why did I have issues with the car making a squealing sound a week after purchase ? I sent the video as well to you all with the sound so please don’t get on the Internet and respond like you all have RESOLVED THIS ISSUE! You left me hanging because I was over 400 miles away and you thought that you all could take advantage of me and ignore my calls , text , and voicemails. Acura relations put in a report with you all the week of 10/17 and I was told I would get a call from PHIL SMITH ACURA and no one ever called !! You all did NOT fulfill your duties as a car dealership. I’ve never had an experience like this EVER with purchasing a car.
