Thank you for giving Darline 5 stars! I have investigated your experience and understand why your Ford Edge was in the shop for 24 days. I tried to call you several times to discuss it with you, but I have not received a response so I will explain here. When your Edge was diagnosed, it needed a new steering gear. That first part was ordered and installed. During our technician's final quality checks and programming of the new steering gear, he discovered that the new part was defective. Just because a part is new DOES NOT mean that it works. So, our technician had to order a second steering gear, uninstall the first one and reinstall the second one doing double the work and parts waiting time. This second steering gear passed all the quality checks and programmed properly. He released the vehicle back to you with the knowledge that it was fixed correctly. Proof was you made your trip home from Florida to Ohio without incident. While I understand you were upset it took 24 days, I think the fact that the technician made sure the quality and the repair was done right is just as important. We did not want you to have problems on your drive home. I hope you can understand that everyone including the technician wanted to give you a "5 star" experience even if it takes a little longer to do it right. Terrible, she played games for four hours and I had to leave with her nonsense. Vero Beach Mullinax got me in and out. I bought the exact same blue Ford Maverick at vero Mullinax instead for 2K less @ More

Thank you for your review on Mullinax Ford of Kissimmee. I have investigated your accusations thoroughly and found them not to be true and factual. First off, Mullinax Ford is an Upfront Price dealer at all our locations. So, while it’s true you did purchase the same Ford Maverick at our other location, you paid the same $26,879 as you would have bought it in Kissimmee. The price was not $2,000 less as your review states. Second, the loan we got you approved for was for a $342.21 monthly payment, not $500.00 per month as your review states. This is only two dollars more per month than the $340.00 per month you stated you got. Finally, you put more money down than you offered in the Kissimmee deal and you went to a private lender for the financed balance, so you are correct that you were able to get a lower interest rate because you financed less with the bank. Banks usually give lower interest rates when customers finance less. And since you financed with an outside bank, of course they could get you “in and out” because you already did the longest part of the transaction by getting your own loan paperwork done with your bank. We hope you enjoy your new Maverick for many years to come but I don’t think your Kissimmee experience went as bad as your review stated. Best Regards, Chris Baron, General Manager

Your investigation is incorrect and far from thoroughly. In an investigation, as I know from a professional standpoint, you would need to speak to everyone involved before coming to an assessment. That, you did not. You made no attempts to speak to my wife or myself. That would indicate your claims at a thorough investigation is what is false. It is true I used my own financing after your loan sharks tried taking their greedy chunk. Your dealer did present me with $500 a month payments, she did say the truck is in demand and cost $2000 more, that I was presented with $341 a month is a bold face lie. It is also a lie I placed more money down. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised as staff reflects management. Also you could have spoken with me personally had I’d been able to at least email you, but you have public access blocked. Your response also goes on with false numbers that you were not there for the four hours it spent to get to signing, you have many claims for a man who was not present. I am enjoying my Ford Maverick, I also just sent my nephew there who bought a new F-150 Lariat and his girlfriend who bought a new Ford Mustang. I sent them both the Vero Beach Mullinax and were in and out, just like I was. Also happy with the staff there. So take it from the person that was present that day and actually had the bad experience at Kissimmee Mullinax, it was that bad and now worse that I see how you operate yourself. I. The future, I recommend you speak with all those involved before fabricating your false narrative. Good Luck to you Mr. Baron

As we discussed with you, you purchased a RAM truck with an extended service plan which is good at any repair center nationwide. When you called us with your recent repair concerns, Mullinax Ford can handle many repair and maintenance items. However, based on your description of your current vehicle concerns, we advised you multiple times that the best place to properly diagnose and repair your type of issues was the RAM dealer because they have RAM specific experience and the RAM equipment to repair it correctly the first time. We are glad to read that you finally listened to our advice. It was never our intention to not help you but your concerns were best handled by a RAM dealer and of course, the extended service plan you purchased from Manny is valid at a RAM dealer too. Manny did not cheat you, he sold you a warranty that you are now using at the RAM dealership giving you the "peace of mind" that he referred to in his presentation. Also, your payment went up when he added the warranty to your finance contract because you bought a warranty. It costs money, it's not free. We wish you good luck with your RAM truck and we are glad you purchased the protection of an extended warranty from Manny.

Well, first, I was only advised one day to take it to Dodge, so not sure of what you mean with multiple times, but if that gives you peace of mind, be my guest. Manny did cheat me, but again, if that makes you feel better, go at it. I do have some recordings if you are interested in listening to them (since you are so sure Manny didn't cheat me) where he specifically says to bring it in, where he assures me your dealer would take care of it and I would have peace of mind. I know the price went up because of the warranty duh!! That's why I mean that I trusted Manny and took the payment. I never said I wanted it free, I have calls from Manny, saying lots of things that changed when I went there, but no worries. I wish you all good luck as well, and transparency in your future endeavors. Never again, lesson learned. Merry Christmas!!
