Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the experience. Detailing job was lack-luster and left a lot of fine details missed (straw wrappers, dirt between seats, etc.) A small leak was agreed upon to be fix Detailing job was lack-luster and left a lot of fine details missed (straw wrappers, dirt between seats, etc.) A small leak was agreed upon to be fixed during negotiations but was left up to myself to make sure it had been done (which it was not) to no fault of service as I believe this fell on sales to make sure the services we agreed upon had been complete. Service personnel are very friendly and made me feel taken care of. Overall good experience but left more up to the consumer to make sure you got what you asked for. More
After shopping on line for weeks and about a 1000 miles to view and test drive, I made my purchase at Montgomery. I loved the feel of buying from a smaller town dealership versus big urban city locations. I found them on Autotrader and I'm glad I did. I wanted to leave a more detailed review. I would give it a negative response if I could. When we traded we did it remote because of disability issues. I personally took pictures of everywhere on my aunts car and sent them to the salesman. First issue was after the paperwork was signed I get a text from Nick trying to take me to task saying the car was in worst condition than he realized. I pointed out not only did I text him about the condition but also took pictures. I even had my aunt pay $80 to have her car detailed for them before she traded it in. He was upset that a shampooing was coming out of his commission. Due to that I didn’t show my but when I never got the referral fee of $150 I was promised by him when originally I had asked for $500 like other dealers provide. My aunt seldom drives so she had it a couple of weeks and went to take it out and engine light comes on. I call the dealership because even though it was used it was supposedly inspected and she had a great bumper to bumper warranty. I was told to have her bring it up there and they would look at it without charging her the $150 to hook up to computer and they would fix it. After Nick raised an issue with me I was then told that she would still need to pay the $150 and they would go from there. We said forget it and took it to the local food dealer. Low and behold the computer came up with code 2418 which has something to do with emission control. Something that certainly should have been caught when the inspection was done. To add more issues we find out that the “great warranty” from the dealer doesn’t cover the part which is now going to cost $650 not including the labor. I went to email regional manager today after not getting a call back and Nick replied to my email saying he will forward on even though I am a liar. That is the third time after the deal that nice Nick was both rude and unprofessional to say the least. At this point I told him not to worry about it and I will take care of my aunt accordingly. I will NEVER do business with this dealer again much less recommend anyone else. If you buy a used car from them and they tell you it was inspected and great, don’t take their word for it. Take it to a dealer or someone you know first. More
