My review explains my experience quite clearly. But if you need a shorter version, below is a list of all the key moments from all my visits that left me confused and unsure if I should bring my car back to Lexus of Serramonte. I've also separated the list into three sections to further make clear of the events that eroded my confidence in your service team: - Purchased a brand new 2020 Lexus with noisy brakes - Mauricio demonstrated a lack of knowledge for my vehicle's service intervals despite having dealership-tier resources like a factory service manual. What's more weird is that your Sales team knew about this vehicle's service intervals, so it's odd that your Service team didn't. - My concern about the brakes were dismissed twice before any service advisor looked up the TSB. - Dean said the brake pads can only be replaced once under warranty but what happens if the new brakes are noisy as well? - Dean set expectations to follow up the next day on why the technician could not program the key card successfully, but failed to deliver as I did not get a response until 3 weeks later. In addition, I also purchased extended platinum warranty in good faith that if something were to go wrong with my car that Lexus of Serramonte would take care of me. Instead, I've received vibes from the service advisor's gatekeeping that they're assuming with negative intent that I'm after free brakes pads. That couldn't be farther from the truth because I reported this to them as soon as I could and also, these new and noisy brake pads are paid for. Also, because there's a TSB for this issue, I believe noisy brake pads are not an intended design for this vehicle and therefore merits service under warranty. And if the new brakes are still noisy, then that means the issue is NOT resolved. So I'm not sure what Dean meant when he said that they can only do it once and feels like an attempt to waive accountability on quality control. I don't mean to assume with negative intent but the customer service I received leaves me nothing to work with here. Lastly, I don't appreciate your lack of courtesy and empathy to ask me to call your general line and ask for a manager instead of reaching out to me or at the very least extend a direct line to someone that can rectify this situation. A customer shouldn't need to go through all this frustration and embarrassment to receive baseline service. I'm not sure if your response is helpful or if it further support the points I've made in this review. But in case you need help to gain your bearings on this situation: the ball's in your court, not mine.
