Re: Addressing Keyes European's Response to My April 26th Negative Review While I appreciate your prompt response to my online review, I must express my frustration with the superficial nature of your eng Negative Review While I appreciate your prompt response to my online review, I must express my frustration with the superficial nature of your engagement. For over a year, I have directly communicated my concerns through more than a dozen of letters, coupled with numerous emails, calls, text messages, and even in-person visits, all aimed at resolving serious issues with the dealership. Most of these efforts have been met with disregard or inadequate responses, making your offer to now engage through a Guest Relations Manager seem disingenuous. It is perplexing that despite significant direct communications with management, my concerns remain unaddressed. Recently, on April 9, instead of facilitating my urgent warranty claims, your Finance Director contacted me to propose a refund, which sidesteps the core issues. Further, on April 16, Finance Manager Roddy Masihi made explicit promises to resolve these matters, promises which were subsequently broken, adding to the frustration and confusion. Moreover, I sought the assistance of Mercedes Benz USA Customer Service, and further validated Keyes European’s lack of commitment to resolve the matters: • April 12, 2024, at 1:58 PM: Contacted MB USA Customer Service; spoke with Agent Tyahna (case no. 06239598). The objective was to prompt Keyes European to honor their warranty obligations. Unfortunately, there was no response from the dealership. • April 16, 2024, at 12:51 PM: Follow-up call made with Agent Adewale (case no. 06304420). The dealership acknowledged my inquiry but reiterated their offer for a refund, which I declined multiple times in favor of enforcing the warranty, signaling a potential fraudulence in the warranty's validity. • April 22, 2024, at 2:57 PM: Attempted direct connection with Keyes European through another MB USA Customer Service representative. The call went unanswered, further demonstrating the dealership's lack of engagement. • April 29, 2024, at 1:01 PM: In a final effort, I reached out via Agent Jennifer (still under case no. 06304420) to resolve the warranty claim, yet again met with silence, no return call nor any form of acknowledgment. Clearly, the conduct of Keyes European Dealership exudes a troubling sense of entitlement and an air of being above the law, manifesting through their actions of consistent impunity. Their failure to respond to repeated attempts at engagement not only displays a misuse of power but also reflects a deep-rooted belief in their untouchability. This blatant disregard for legal and ethical standards reveals a business operating with an alarming degree of arrogance and indifference to the repercussions of their inaction on consumers. Such behavior not only undermines trust in their operations but also highlights a systemic problem within their corporate culture that must be addressed. I urge Keyes European to move beyond mere platitudes and take concrete steps to address these longstanding issues. Engaging with your Guest Relations Manager should not be necessary when senior management is already well aware of the situation. I expect a direct and substantial resolution from those who have the authority and have previously committed to resolving these issues. Furthermore, I noted that Keyes European Dealership has selectively omitted my negative review from their website, choosing instead to highlight and promote only positive feedback. This practice of cherry-picking reviews does not reflect an honest or transparent portrayal of consumer experiences. By leaving my critical review on the original car dealership review site while curating a skewed positivity on their own platform, Keyes European demonstrates a concerning lack of commitment to genuine consumer satisfaction and transparency. Such actions suggest an attempt to manipulate public perception and obscure real customer sentiments, which is a disservice to potential buyers seeking truthful information. More

Comprehensive Review: Warning Against Keyes European Dealership in Van Nuys, California As a consumer deeply affected by my experiences with Keyes European Dealership, I am compelled to warn others c Dealership in Van Nuys, California As a consumer deeply affected by my experiences with Keyes European Dealership, I am compelled to warn others considering high-value vehicle purchases, such as a Mercedes-Benz. My dealings with this dealership revealed a pattern of unsatisfactory service, deceptive practices, and a disregard for consumer rights. Background of My Experience: On March 1, 2023, I purchased a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter from Keyes European. Problems began immediately, encompassing everything from misleading sales tactics to serious issues with the extended warranty and financing terms. Major Issues Encountered: Deceptive Sales Tactics and Documentation Delays: The terms agreed with Sales Executive Daniel Robson were unilaterally altered by Finance Manager Roddy Masihi, adding unauthorized charges and a costly, substandard extended warranty. I was coerced into signing incomplete documents, promised to be finalized the following day—a promise broken, as it took over two months to receive the completed documents, obscuring the financial details of my contract. Unauthorized Charges and Financial Manipulation: An unauthorized extra charge of $15,143 over the agreed price surfaced only after I received the sales documents belatedly. Additionally, the finance terms were altered without my consent, exacerbating my financial strain. Extended Warranty and Service Issues: I was pressured into purchasing an overpriced in-house extended warranty, inferior to a Mercedes Benz Sprinter-designed warranty that I initially requested. When my vehicle required urgent repairs under this warranty on March 31, the dealership’s response was lacking, resulting in significant downtime and leaving my vehicle inoperable at a Mercedes Benz repair facility. Finance Director Vincetta Mendola, the highest-ranking officer I spoke with, personally offered a refund for this warranty, which I declined, insisting instead that they honor the warranty claims. Accident Due to Neglect: A lack of timely warranty service and poor communication from the dealership on February 19 led to a road accident on February 21, underlining the severe consequences of their negligence. Chronic Unresponsiveness and Poor Customer Service: My attempts to address these issues over the past year met with silence or non-committal responses from the finance manager and other senior management. Legal and Ethical Concerns: Keyes European's practices suggest violations of the Federal Truth in Lending Act and California consumer protection laws, which mandate clear financial disclosure and fair treatment—standards they have consistently failed to meet. Call for Public Assistance and Legal Advice: I urgently seek legal advice to address these issues and invite anyone with similar experiences or legal expertise to contact me at kookainevada@gmail.com. Conclusion and Warning: I strongly discourage dealings with Keyes European Dealership. Their lack of integrity suggests a profit-over-ethics business model. If considering a vehicle purchase, especially a Mercedes-Benz, please explore more reputable dealerships to avoid similar distress. Your support in navigating this challenging situation is invaluable, and I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others. More
Daniel Robson of Keyes sales department is why I go to Keyes despite the ready availability, of Mercedes dealers in my area. He is polished, articulate and caring. When I outlined the deal I wanted on my Keyes despite the ready availability, of Mercedes dealers in my area. He is polished, articulate and caring. When I outlined the deal I wanted on my last car he had already picked out a vehicle that met every expectation, and then shepherded it through the deal process. I can say, without hesitation, that after ten purchases of Mercedes that he is the finest sales rep I've ever dealt with. I trust him implicitly, an unusually high praise for an automobile salesman from a customer who is not willing to accept less than the best and is unaccustomed to using superlatives, Keyes service deserves praise, also, for being unfailing courteous and efficient. I have never had an instance in which the work recommended was unnecessary. Service at this dealer is a collaboration between driver and mechanic. Keyes is very good at explaining the repairs being done, and why they are recommended. There is always a clear and understandable approach to the ever more complex nature of system electronics. Any customer who wishes can be directly involved in the work of maintaining his or her vehicle. All questions are welcome and cheerfully answered truthfully. Ask for Donald Dorion for his exceptional knowledge and plain-speak in the unlikely event something needs repair outside warranty., Behind the doors of its elegant building on Van Nuys Blvd., Keyes offers a sales and service experience aa good as any you'd find anywhere in the world. Every customer, from rock star to average Joe is treated with the same unfailing respect, Whether the customer comes from high or low, I've found this is the only place selling luxury cars where every person is treated with the same courtesy and respect as a matter of course. It's been my privilege to have done business with Keyes for over three decades. I will go no place else, regardless of where I live, to experience the driving experience of Mercedes, perhaps why I meet fellow customers from throughout Los Angeles whenever I visit. More
I brought my car in to see about my check engine light. They came back with a nearly $6k repair bill. I went over to the sales dept to see if they would give me an estimate on trade-in value. Here's where They came back with a nearly $6k repair bill. I went over to the sales dept to see if they would give me an estimate on trade-in value. Here's where I got all the way turned off with this dealership. They only wanted to offer me $4500 trade in value on my '14 Benz C250. How do you charge someone more to fix the car than you're offering for trade-in value!!?? Complete xx!! For the record, Carmax offered me $8400 for the same car. Needless to say I won't be back with shady business practices like that. One and DONE for me at Keyes. More
