Prices have dropped considerably on Tundras, especially the Hybrid. I spent three days looking online and this was one of the dealers I was looking at. I give two stars for their willingness to negotiate the Hybrid. I spent three days looking online and this was one of the dealers I was looking at. I give two stars for their willingness to negotiate and the discounts that offered were exceptional. However, after every discounted proposal they added in $1595 after the discount. Other dealers were removing their dealer options upfront or offered deep discounts on them. This would have been the deal if they would have left off or discounted the dealer options. Who needs a Deluxe Pin strip for $199? Few vehicles have a pin stripe these days and it does not add any functional value to the vehicle. Life time door cups for $498? Precut door cups are all over the internet for less than $20. Life time Window Tint for $499? A local installer who I have used for years will do the windows and put a strip across the top of the windshield for $200, with a life time warranty. Factory Floor Mats for $399? On vehicles with them listed a a Southeast Toyota Port Installed Option they are only $339. If you order them through a dealer parts department they retail for $179 and many have 10-20% discount on that price. Too many dealers are willing to do anything to move these trucks. Markups and market adjustments no longer exist, even on the TRD Pro which now goes for MSRP at most dealers. I don't understand this markup. I was told the bottom line is what matters. Adding back the dealer options erased their bottom line advantage. Depending on the vehicle you are looking for, like a Highlander, even with the add back may still result in a great deal so I would look here, but when looking for a vehicle with excess inventory on the lot and more being delivered every day, it doesn't work out. All I asked for is what will you sell the Tundra for? Angel told me I'd get a deal that would knock my socks off. I kept asking for the price and didn't get an answer. When management got involved the Angel told me I'd get a deal that would knock my socks off. I kept asking for the price and didn't get an answer. When management got involved they said I'd get a deal to make us both happy. I kept asking but was never given a selling price for the truck. I was constantly asked what price do I have to beat, where do I have to be to earn your business, I can discount things for you. Right, I wanted to know what the discount was. All that is fine but my question never was answered, what will you sell the truck for? If I have to negotiate with another dealer, then tell you what their deal is so you can match it, what's the point of even talking to you? If a dealership tells me what their best price is and they are open about all aspects of the purchase, why come to you after they do everything upfront to earn my business? Thanks for emailing me while my wife was driving past Columbia to Hendersonville NC to get our new truck. It helped pass the time. We were willing to get off of I-26 and deal with you except for one thing, you never would give a price for your truck. We made the drive, it was worth the additional travel to work with people that wanted to make a deal and not price match. Tonight we are relaxing in Asheville NC and enjoying our new truck. More
I've been going to Jim Hudson Toyota since I moved to the area in 2018. At the end of 2023, I decided to purchase a new car and give my business to the dealership as I had good experience with them for the p area in 2018. At the end of 2023, I decided to purchase a new car and give my business to the dealership as I had good experience with them for the past five years. Unfortunately, my experience was not only unprofessional and unethical, it may be considered criminal. I was in the market for a Grand Hylander Hybrid. Because of the popularity and the newness of the vehicle, I was told it would be 6-8 weeks before the car would arrive. No problem! I'm patient. 6-8 weeks came and went... after 3 months "my" car finally arrived. I went to the dealership to officially purchase the car. Abraham, my salesman, explained my car was being detailed but we could start the paperwork. I jokingly asked him if he was going to pull a "bait and switch." We both laughed. After signing several documents, they pulled my car to the front for me to see. While it "looked" like my car, I realized it was not the vehicle I ordered. Abraham acted surprised that it wasn't my car and grabbed Kendal, the sales manager. They acted shocked that is wasn't the correct vehicle. Then the two of them proceeded to tell me they had called me the day prior and said I agreed to purchase the "substitute" car -- I never received a call from anyone at Jim Hudson nor would I have agreed to accept the substitute vehicle as it did not have the items they knew I wanted in the Grand Hylander. (Why would they be surprised the "wrong" vehicle arrived, then proceed to tell me they had called the day before to ask if I wanted the substitute?) There is no doubt they would have proceeded with the deal and sold me a car I did not order or want had I not been observant and realized the vehicle was not the Grand Hylander Hybrid I agreed upon and had placed a deposit on. It is with great disappointment to know this dealership is dishonest and unethical. I cannot and will not recommend them to anyone in the market for a car. More

If you are looking for a vehicle here I suggest you shop other dealers before finalizing your deal. I found a 2024 Tundra Limited on their used website that had 1015 miles on it. They set the sales price other dealers before finalizing your deal. I found a 2024 Tundra Limited on their used website that had 1015 miles on it. They set the sales price at the original sticker price and they lowballed my trade to $31,000. They wanted $34,500 for the vehicle, after trade. They would not negotiate the price and told me to try a new one for a discount. I did and they only discounted the vehicle $1051, added $1595 of dealer installed options and told me I was saving money because they did not add $2K-$5K market adjustment to the price. Except for TRD Pro trims I didn't find a market adjustment price on any vehicle and I checked inventory and pricing at 15 Toyota dealers in Georgia and South Carolina. The total price for this deal was $39400, after trade and again I was told no adjustment, this is the best price. Well, a little more time on the computer and I got an out the door price on the same Tundra Hybrid for $28,000! I received $36,250 for my trade. The dealer here tried to upsell me on dealer installed options and I said I didn't need them or want them except for the running boards and window tint which I would be doing anyway. They said they would take the other add on's off and they discounted the vehicle as well, $3369. The next day I went to take delivery of the vehicle. To my surprise, the truck had window tint, a Toyota bed extender, Toyota bed step, Toyota console safe, and Toyota TRD running boards! I didn't get charged for any to the dealer installed add on's that were not removed. Look, this was an exceptional deal even without them leaving the dealer installed options on the truck. There may never be a deal like this again but I am telling you that you will get a better deal than you will get here. Get a dealer that is willing to negotiate. These people refused to negotiate at all. Avoid the S--T SHOW, go somewhere that will at least make an effort to make you think you got a good deal! More

We have been looking at a Jeep on the lot for a couple weeks now. After stopping by the third time, we were once again told that the keys were not located and it wasn’t ready to sell. We asked for our veh weeks now. After stopping by the third time, we were once again told that the keys were not located and it wasn’t ready to sell. We asked for our vehicle to be appraised and after waiting an hour and we asked for our keys back, they decided to jump in our vehicle and take off. All the sales staff were standing around looking at their phones and could care less whether we were there or not. Needless to say, we left and went down the road and drove home in the exact model of Jeep at the Jim Hudson lot with way better service. We have bought several vehicles from Jim Hudson Toyota but they have now lost a customer. Very disappointed in Jim Hudson Toyota. More

This is my second Toyota Highlander purchased from Jim Hudson Toyota. The second experience was probably the best. My sales associate Len Wall was fabulous. He answered all of me and my husband's question Hudson Toyota. The second experience was probably the best. My sales associate Len Wall was fabulous. He answered all of me and my husband's questions no matter what we asked. He was very knowledgeable about Toyota vehicles. I had a specific list of needs in a vehicle, and he got me everything I wanted under our overall budget. Our finance associate, Brittany, explained all of our payment information in detail which was great because the first time around in 2016 that part of our experience was awful. I would recommend Len at Jim Hudson to anyone. He did not pressure us to leave with a car the first day I went in. He allowed us to go home and give it some thought and if the car was still available to come back and see them. And that is what we did! More
