I have a leased Nissan Pathfinder with Gerald Nissan Naperville and had a very hard time dealing with their service department from the very beginning with different problem. Specifically if you meet th Naperville and had a very hard time dealing with their service department from the very beginning with different problem. Specifically if you meet this guy named Bradley Diebert (Brad) as your service advisor. Be careful about mentioning any issue you facing with the vehicle - if it is Nissan warranty covered they will never find any issue and if it is not covered then the part need to be replaced in most occasions. My car running below 20K when I took for 4th servicing and I mentioned bit of braking issue. And they made me change Brake Pads for rear wheels - below 20K miles it is surprising for Break Pad replacement. I did ask for a explanation how this happened as I am confident my driving style won't cause it. However this guy didn't like I argued with him and even taunted me in formal way when I was walking out - "Have a Good Day" (the tone) like "I screwed your day. What you going to about that?" I may not go for Nissan as my next car, definitely not going with this dealership for next car even if it Nissan. More

I purchased a Hybrid Pathfinder here in 2014. My experience with the sales department and it's manager was horrible. A vehicle they claimed they got from another dealership with issues like the Turbo had to be replaced. They could not get me out of the door fast enough after selling me this car. Have they changed? I would not know because after 1 service visit I never returned. In keeping with my promise to them I continue to alert people of the questionable practices of this dealership and would never recommend them to anyone. Buyer Beware!! More
If I could rate this dealership a zero I would. We have bought 4 cars from them. The same day the car would not start/ we thought it was related to replacement of the cabin filter .The battery check on the diagnostic test said it was good- from Gerald- we called the service dept and they told us to bring it in and they would check it. The car died on us twice. We dealt with David Rhea ( the Service manager)and that is where our trouble began. They were terrible and treated a 20 plus year customer horrible. We ended up getting the battery free and this David said to my husband that if I give this free to you , you cannot come back in here to service any one of our cars.. we thought he was having a bad day. Fast forward and we made an apt for our Armada for an oil change thru the PMA program. We got a confirmation via email and phone that our oil change was confirmed. We got there and he was told they would not service us anymore- this is ridiculous. So supposedly we have the Gerald Lifetime Warranty from them on our cars- now what. This place has definitely changed over the past few years and not for the good. When my husband drove in there the bays were empty….I think this is a sign of how they are treating their customers. Stay away from here- they don’t deserve your business. Take it somewhere else…We paid for two tows on the Armada , Gerald would not come out to check it out since they just worked on the car, since they had no one available. Who does this David Rhea think he is? We didn’t come in to get a free battery we wanted our car properly serviced from a Nissan dealership…keep driving and head to another dealership!!!!!! More

I walked into Gerald Nissan with my Dad and my list of must-haves in our next vehicle. Manny was exceptionally knowledgable and extremely helpful by going over all the options and physically climbing in a must-haves in our next vehicle. Manny was exceptionally knowledgable and extremely helpful by going over all the options and physically climbing in and out and all around (like my kids, ha ha) to show me visually the different scenarios. He also really LISTENED and even picked up on clues that I was not yet in my “buying window”. Once we test drove and determined which size vehicle was best, Gerald Nissan allowed me to borrow the actual vehicle overnight and into the next day of our regular daily routine. Manny also gave me the time and space to check out the competition on my list. He understood what a big purchase this is and wanted me to be certain and happy long after the sale. Smart man! I was also pleasantly surprised at the easy process of working directly with sales manager, Vinod on price and packaging. Not pushy. Very kind. And clearly cared about making sure we were good with and understood every line item. Thank you. As a female, car shopping can often be overwhelming and there have been times in the past (NOT at Gerald) where I have left in tears, because of the old-school mentality that girls just don’t know. Never once did I feel this way. And I have to give a shout out to Jake too! He made what is normally a LONG, boring and overwhelming process — the nitty gritty of paperwork — almost fun with his visuals and personal way of making sure we were aware of all we were signing. If you are in the market — no matter the brand of car honestly — I highly recommend giving Manny / Gerald Auto Group a call and chance to help you out. Thank you all again and again! He is also very well educated about the other brand or model options so he can help you make the best of your time spent comparing alternative make and models. I felt that John was making sure the options we were discussing were appropriate for my needs and also fit my budget. If John wasn't available, there were always other staff around or answering phones to make sure my questions were promptly answered, either on site or by phone, text, or email. John is also enthusiastic about his job and what he does, and that's reflected in his ability to sit in the vehicle with you and make sure you know every single cool thing the vehicle can provide for you, your loved ones, or your precious cargo. I felt that the end price and financing was very fair and the best that could be expected given the current state of world affairs. Well equipped options are rare and cost more nowadays, and that's just how it is. John let me know the options available to keep my car locked down and available until I was ready to purchase, and as of last night I am now the very proud owner of a new 2023 Nissan Rogue.
