I brought in my CERTIFIED Jeep 2020 Gladiator in for a problem Sarah identified as 'death wobble' and I agreed. I drop it off early for an early Sat. appt and finally get a text at 3:10 saying they needed more time to work on it. I call Monday and get a runaround to various extensions. When I finally get someone, they say nothing has been done yet.?. She says they don't do repairs on Sat and she will get back to me about where it stands in a half hour. An hour later I call back and she says she will contact me in a half hour. TWO hours go by and I again call back and leave a message. They call my wife at home and her number and keep contacting her even though I had changed contact info. A couple of hours later I get a text saying the steering issues are caused by a mild lift I put on less than 6 months previously and have about a total of 4k miles since my purchase. The tech says it's the pitman shaft and outer tie rod on left side of the vehicle. NO way should a lift affect these in such a short time. I have had Jeeps for years and have an 05 with a taller lift for YEARS, only the ball end of the panhard bar wore out after over 15 years of driving it AND rock climbing....and these items on a newer Jeep has already worn out? I can't get anyone on the phone about this, I have tried the Service manager, so has my wife, and nothing, nada, zip. I'm done with this place, Certified or not, I don't care after this fiasco. IF you buy here, go elsewhere for service, read the reviews, 2.5 stars...I now know why. And don't bother coming on here to say you are sorry for my bad experience, I don't believe it. You have my info and I'm sure Service will tell you who I am, call and discuss why you think I am responsible for the repairs. 4k miles and I have a rather large bill to pay someone else to fix. Funny, there is a TSB about the steering boxes on this year being faulty, I guess they won't be honoring this so I will take it to an independent garage for my future repairs. My Jeep will never be brought back here. More

My Jeep Grand Cherokee 4ex stopped operating on 2/15/24 (vehicle reported failure of electric hybrid engine) and was towed to Gengras CDJR that evening. The vehicle is 1-year old and has 10,079 miles on the odometer. It was purchased new in Rhode Island on 11/15/2022 and is still under warranty. The dealer communicated they received the vehicle and provided occasional updates on its status through 3/5/24 but has not been in contact with me since (4/5/24). I have called repeatedly and am always forwarded directly to voicemail with no return calls or any other form of communication from Gengras. I had to contact Jeep Corporate. I highly recommend avoiding this dealership. Their customer service is appalling. Also likely a problem with Stellantis' PHEVs (as evidenced by an inability to fix the vehicle over 7+ weeks)? More

I had an appointment to have my jeep diagnosed due to check engine light. Gengras charged me $425 for diagnosing, there wasn’t any work done. When I began to question Ed L the service rep he became loud check engine light. Gengras charged me $425 for diagnosing, there wasn’t any work done. When I began to question Ed L the service rep he became loud and unprofessional. I spoke to Dan the manager and he tried to assure me the price was correct. What a complete rip off. I will never go back to Gengras and I will be contacting the bbb. More

Service department employee Corey is extremely rude and condescending. He does not let the customer get a word in and just raises his voice and shouts over you. i recently went to Gengras Chrysler Jeep in East Hartford to have my fluids in my jeep drained and also checked out my air filters.they also installed the back matt in my 2021 jeep sahara .I had to go back 3 to have my fluids in my jeep drained and also checked out my air filters.they also installed the back matt in my 2021 jeep sahara .I had to go back 3 times because missing pieces or missing instructions.so i went back January 2nd and finally finished the job.I dealt with Sarah Tresselt service advisor.What a pleasure to work with.She deserves top notch 5 rating.Great job Sarah.she needs to be recognized because a lot of dealers would love to have her work for them.Great Job!! Wouldn't wish this dealer on my worst enemy. It would seem that they go out of their way to make the experience bad for everyone involved. This is what you get from Gengras service: inability to keep appointments, zero communications, once you give them the vehicle they will get to it when they feel like, no concern about the client, always a reason why they complete a full service, yet they somehow do manage to dent up the exterior. If you do end up going in to inquire about your vehicle in person you can witness the service manager screaming and berating customers guaranteed, every single time. Perhaps because a simple inquiry always takes over an hour, just to end up leaving more confused than when you came in. Dan & Krista don't bother responding, you both are the reason the place is falling apart. It's beyond me how anyone could be so incompetent. More

Had a Job done which they diagnosed back in June 23" $1300.00 later the Jeep is still not working right. I dropped it off on Monday so they could have it for two days. Never got back to me so i called when I did they had a $6000.00 estimate of all things I did want looked at. They could not guarantee me this would fix problem. So I said I will think about it, When i left they want $200 for inspecting the Jeep, something I never asked for. They would not give me the Jeep unless I paid, so I gave in while verbally blasting them. Hey after 4 months, $1300 and nothing fixed I was not happy. They gave me my car and Dan told be never to come back here again. i called him a big xxxxx, got in my car and was going to leave. As i did he came back and said :what did you call me?" Get out of the car. So I did, we stood face to face he said call me that again, I said you called me out make your move, of course he did nothing because, well you know! As I left a few ladies were out there verbally assaulting me, F*** you your an A** hole. and I left. They could not have been more unprofessional. DO NOT BRING YOUR JEEP THERE,. 2.4 RATING SAYS IT ALL. No sense adding to this or writing the powers that be i'm sure they will back their people! More
