Went to this dealership looking for a specific vehicle. The Salesman was nice but the Sales Manager needs a lesson in RESPECT ! We were looking at a vehicle, actually sitting in it fixing to go on a test The Salesman was nice but the Sales Manager needs a lesson in RESPECT ! We were looking at a vehicle, actually sitting in it fixing to go on a test drive and the salesman got a phone call from the office requesting key to said vehicle. He tried explaining that he was going on a test drive with a customer and the Sales Manager insisted on getting the key and even went so far as to come out in the lot to the vehicle and demand the key. Manager stated that someone was in the office that had looked at the truck previously and they were there thinking about buying it. We were going to buy the vehicle but instead it was SOLD out from under us. The Manager never acknowledged our presence/existence when he approached demanding the key. This is total customer disrespect! We understand sometimes buyers want the same vehicles etc. but it should be handled with Respect, not total disregard/disrespect for a customer! Not to mention we had driven about 150 miles to shop at this dealership! I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone because of their management! More
Most of us have become accustomed to the customer experience that comes with dealing with a big dealership. Most typically they are owned by larger companies who operate under different brands and ar experience that comes with dealing with a big dealership. Most typically they are owned by larger companies who operate under different brands and are only interested in the numbers rather than the customers. There, you're seen only as a quota. There is no relationship. After decades of buying cars, Eckenrod has demonstrated that they care about the entire customer experience. They treat you like family because they are owned and operated by a family. Every single step of the process is uncomplicated, no games, just real people serving their community. I dealt with Haley, Eli and Adam and each are concerned and dedicated to ensuring your happiness as a customer. Each were respectful, kind, helpful and more than willing to meet our needs. I've seen a lot of dealerships who say they care, this one actually does. No matter if you are in Birmingham, Huntsville or points in-between, you had better give these folks a shot at your business. Ford should be exceedingly proud that Eckenrod represents their brand. More

Buyers beware! Bought 2015 bmw September 2021 cars horn did not work then a few days after I bought it the brakes started squealing took to have them checked that’s when I found out the tires where so bad did not work then a few days after I bought it the brakes started squealing took to have them checked that’s when I found out the tires where so bad there was metal coming through tire! If a inspection had been done the horn brakes and tires would have been fixed! So either inspection wasn’t done or it was and they chose not to fix them and sold the car to me anyways! I ask the manager how did he know they had inspected the tires he said because they told me they did! I said well they said they inspected the horn too but we both know it doesn’t work! He proceeded to tell me he would not be talked to like that and I could get my car and leave! More
If I could give this place zero stars I would. We drove from Athens to see a Toyota Prius they had listed for sale. On the dealership’s own website it said a Prius 4 which it was not. When we arrived we were quickly greeted but were told they honestly don’t know much about them. When we went to turn the car on it wouldn’t start. The battery was dead. They jumped it off and whoever the guy was that came out with the sales person blamed it on some xx. 1st red flag. We should’ve left then but after the test drive and inspecting the car we decided to move forward. They agreed to replace the battery but wouldn’t move on price even though they had it listed incorrectly and told us it had been sitting there since February. 2nd red flag. We had come to the dealership pre approved with our own financing. They asked if we wanted to see if they could get us a better rate. We very clearly said no because we had our approval and I specifically said I didn’t want our credit ran again. Not only did they run our credit again for the bank we were already approved with, but this sleezy dealership ran our credit again with another bank after I specifically said not to. Whoever the guy was came bragging they got us a .11% lower interest rate. Barely 10th of a percent lower. Then he tried to lie saying they had to run our credit again with our bank(which isn’t true. We called Redstone as soon as we left the lot) and He gaslighted us about running it with Chase. The sales lady was fine. But sucks she lost a sale because of whoever the shady finance guy was. They called after we left to try and “make it right” by offering us $1000 off. I wouldn’t trust them with anything. Look them up on BBB and you can see other claims of their shady practices. I would never recommend anyone go here. Without a doubt the worst dealership experience we have ever had. AVOID they are the type of place that gives dealerships the bad rep. More
