10/10 would NOT recommend buying anything from Don Jacobs Volkswagen!! I recently bought a 2019 Subaru Forster Touring (not a cheap vehicle- “fully loaded” model) and once I got it home and started setti Volkswagen!! I recently bought a 2019 Subaru Forster Touring (not a cheap vehicle- “fully loaded” model) and once I got it home and started setting up the features, realized that one didn’t work. Keep in mind that I’m a repeat Don Jacobs customer… I paid full price for the vehicle and this was never disclosed to me. I was told that the vehicle was “inspected” and worked as advertised. After taking it to Quantrell Subaru, I learned that this was NOT the case. It requires a $1000+ fix to work properly. Don Jacobs is refusing to fix it themselves OR to pay Quantrell Subaru to fix it. They told me that I purchased the car “as it” and their hands were tied. COMPLETE xxxxxxxx! I’ll never purchase anything else from them and will highly discourage anyone that I know from buying from them either. Worst customer service experience ever… it sucks getting screwed. I will certainly be contacting the BBB to inform them of this! More

I'm not sure if the problem with the sales team is a lack of accurate information or simple dishonesty. I bought a used Honda minivan online from Don Jacobs on Dec 31, 2022. I went through the sales process with Jason and Vanessa, and while the team was courteous and kind ,I feel misled about the details of the purchase. About a month after driving off the lot, the van needed extensive repair (about $4000 worth). A new timing belt, water pump, new brakes/rotors (which I were told were in very good condition), and I had to fix an oil leak (I was assured there were none in the sales process), among other regular maintenance issues. I was told that the van was in good shape and completely safe for my family. It was sold as is and so had no warranty, and I understand that. However, there was a significant breakdown either within the Don Jacobs team, or there is a gap between what the sales team says and actual reality. All this said, I would seriously hesitate before buying from Don Jacobs (especially their used inventory). At the very least, do not buy from them without an independent inspection. I understand my part in the process, and I've learned a lesson - however I would caution anyone from trusting the sales team here without verifying that what they say is true. More
