You ever notice only 5 star reviews show up, I wonder why the reviews like I’m going to write disappeared…I brought my 2023 Silverado 1500 Duramax in for its first service while I was in town visiting. They did the service in a timely manner, but then it goes south, literally. I drove the truck home to S.C. About a 1000 miles, parked the truck on my new cement driveway, and went in the house to get some sleep, I drove straight through, only stopping for fuel. When I get up to unpack my truck, I have a large oil puddle under my truck, I took pictures then took my truck to the local Chevy dealer here and found a loose oil filter.I contacted David Chevy and their service manager got back to me right away, telling me that the dealership would take care of everything including repairing my driveway, and that’s not how they do businesses and will take care of everything. After many attempts to remove the stain from the cement with no luck, the contractor that did my driveway sent a estimate to the service manager, then it turned upside down, now they only wast to pay for the cleaning supplies, how the filter couldn’t have come loose and more xx. I was a GM line tech for many years, and owned my own shops in the Falls area, I have done thousands of oil changes and never had a filter loosen up, but their guy failed at properly installing the filter and causing the mess. Now with all that being said, when the tech at my local dealer properly tightened the filter, I did a 23 day, 6100 mile, 16 state trip, and the filter never leaked….imagine that…. More
I have a 2021 Equinox for 3 rd time since the purchase of the SUV it won’t start something wrong with a chip. They have my car now won’t give me a loaner or rent me a car until it is fixed. I would give the service department 0 stars if I could. I have taken my 2017 high country back three times for service work. All three times for the SAME issue, all three times I was charged. They site a different issue every time or say they can’t find a reason. I shouldn’t be charged to fix the same problems three times!! And when you ask why your charged, the service department talks in circles and can’t really answer, but make sure they won’t give you your keys until you pay them. WORST service dept out there, and yes I’m still having the issue! More

Had my Vehicle at West Herr Service 7 times for the problem and they were not able to fix it, and West Herr told me to take it to a different dealer to be looked at, well I did just that and my 6 month ordeal at West Herr has been fixed. Attempting to get my car serviced at David Buick Chevrolet was the worst experience I have ever had with any service provider. I took my 2014 Buick Verano, with 31,000 miles on it, in for problems w Chevrolet was the worst experience I have ever had with any service provider. I took my 2014 Buick Verano, with 31,000 miles on it, in for problems with the radio shutting on and off. They looked at it quickly and charged me $650 for a part they assumed would fix the problem I was experiencing. The part did not fix the problem, they instead made it worse. Now the blinker does not make sound, all the lights in the car shut off randomly, and the radio shuts down for extended periods of time when I drive my car. I took my car back to be examined not one more time BUT THREE more times (each time my car would come back with at least a 1/4 a tank of gas gone) and after the fourth time they finally decide to tell me that I need a new radio. Each time I went to pick my car up I was left to search the parking lot for it, and told if I couldn’t see it to “just press the alarm.” This was after they kept my car over night with out warning or even a phone call explaining the need to keep my car long than a day (the car was dropped off at 10 am). ATROCIOUS customer service. I have never experienced such and inconsiderate and unapologetic service team. I was not given a refund or an apology for any of the inconvenience. It is clear to me they do not know what they are doing. I will not be going back a fifth time. Josh and Mark, as well as their secretary, do not deserve anyone’s business. More
Poor Customer Service Brought 2015 Chevy Malibu on lease from dealership in for an oil change. They also did a tire rotation and the car sat home until the next morning whe Brought 2015 Chevy Malibu on lease from dealership in for an oil change. They also did a tire rotation and the car sat home until the next morning when my passenger side front tire was almost flat. I brought it back and was told there was a piece of metal or screw in the sidewall that was not repairable and had to be replaced. That same tire had no issues until I brought the car in for service. When I told the technician who called me to say the car was done the answer I got was "If we looked over everything on every single car we would never get anything done around here". I think that is a terrible thing to say to a customer and any way you look at it they let a potential dangerous issue leave their dealership. I know things happen but teach your employees to to talk to people or get better training before you are able to call someone. It's a shame that the terrible Service Dept is going to cost the Sales Dept business. Don't EVER underestimate the power of the consumer as I will make it my mission to advise people on where to find good customer service. You might say it's HUGE. More
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I brought my car in for an oil change and an inspection. They told me it was going to cost $700 in repairs to pass inspection. I told them to just do the oil change and I'll pick it up when they are done. I don't think they were to happy with that. I paid for the inspection and an oil change and they brought me my vehicle. I decided to check the oil level before I left the parking lot. Guess what I found? They never did the oil change. I drove back to the service department and spoke with the service manager. He said it was a small mistake and he was going to make it up to me. He said they would get it in right away and do the oil change. WOW, thanks David Chevrolet. Your going to make it up to me by making me wait another twenty minutes after you had my car for 1.5 hours and do the oil change I already paid for. Great Customer Service. How many times does this service department get away with charging their customers for something they didn't do and when they are caught red handed make it seem like its not a big deal. The only thing they offered was to give me a free oil change next time I come in. Are you serious? I will never come back. This is the biggest mistake a service department can make. If I was running this business I would have bent over backwards to try not to lose a customer over something that's almost criminal. Be very careful giving this dealership your business. More

I was interested in Trax thinking that was more affordable. I was surprised that I could lease an Equinox again, a model up with a lower payment. My lease was not going to be up til March of 2016 but somehow everything worked out for me. I love my new Equinox. Thanks Paul for giving great customer service. More
Steer Away I recently bought a used 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS from the dealer. After the brakes were making noise they told me the caliper, hose, and pads we I recently bought a used 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS from the dealer. After the brakes were making noise they told me the caliper, hose, and pads were gonne be replaced for a costly $412. I thought they might cover it to make a good impression on a first customer even thought it was over a 1,000 miles that I bought it with. They didn't and i got it repaired at my normal mechanic for $280 plus rotors for the other side (talk about getting robbed!) Well I'll never go there to buy a car and i advise to steer away and possibly try another dealer. The people in the service department were very unclear in explaining why they wouldn't cover it and had a very rude and cocky attitude towards me. They also told (I was very shocked!!!) me that I was sold the car as is. THEY CAN'T SELL IT AS IS BY NYS LAW!!! I got they car with a very dirty (had to be detailed to get clean) interior, a quarter tank of gas, and tires that were bald as xxxx!!!! I would never recommend this place to buy a used/new car from and hope you goo somewhere else for your business. More
