I just left a review about having to trade in my jeep due to a factory recall. Got a new jeep had 3700 miles it's a demo why after driving a 100 miles the check engine light comes on? They're giving me every kind of excuses from it was cold last night and voltages on the battery might have been off to it has 5 computers systems that have to talk to each other. I call Bulls***. Why would you have cars that the check engine lights are going to be coming on all the time. That means I'm going to be spending a lot of time getting it looked at. And it's ok to drive with check engine light on as long as it's not flashing. But you told me 2 days ago because I continued driving the car with a recall on it I had caused more damage and they won't fix it now. I will never buy anything from y'all. Just bought a new jeep with 3700 miles drove it for 100 miles and check engine light is on. But you also just told me that because I keep driving on a recall made more problems and done more damage so I was in a catch 22 they wouldn't fix it because it was out of warranty but the problem was a factory recall that I tried for 9 months to get fix Y'all talk out both sides of your mouth . So the jeep got bad enough that transmission was slipping catalyst convert was loud getting fumes in the vehicle. Then we could smell antifreeze burning over heated a few times. Thinking we had more damage done to the engine we traded for a new one. Talking to the salesman about this I said jeep should be responsible for it .He said I was in a catch 22 because I drove it knowing the issues even though they wouldn't fix it or put me up on the waiting list so I caused more damage. So now I've went from a paid off vehicle back to a buying a car with payments all because y'all wouldn't listen to me telling me you would let me know when it was my turn. Also one person told me most vehicles that they had replaced the sensor for didn't need it. When the salesman took my car for a test drive he could tell it needed to be fixed and told me I had 155,000 miles so my car would just go to auction and if they fixed the recall other things would probably happen to my vehicle. Felt like we really didn't have a option but to buy new because how much longer would our jeep last More
