I'm deeply disappointed with my experience at Bell Mitsubishi. I was assured by the staff that upon paying off my car, I would receive a full refund for the theft protection ($300) and tire warranty ( Mitsubishi. I was assured by the staff that upon paying off my car, I would receive a full refund for the theft protection ($300) and tire warranty ($1500) add ons that they basically forced me to get after the car was paid off. However when it came time to honor this promise, the story changed—suddenly, I was faced with a 50% refund and a 20% cancellation fee for the tire warranty and no refund for the theft protection, terms that were never mentioned during the sale or noted in the policy I signed. The policy stated that I would get the original amount minus a 25$ cancellation fee, not 50% of original price and a 20% cancellation fee on top of that, and when I contacted the company (Sonsio) that did the tire warranty they said I "have a refund of $1,360.06 due". Despite this the finance manager still told me the 50% refund and a 20% cancellation fee ending up with only $600 of the $1500 being refunded. They told me I couldn’t be refunded for the theft protection too despite assuring me multiple times when purchasing the car that I would get a refund for all the add ons after the car was paid off. The lack of transparency and the discrepancy between what was promised by the sales team and what is being delivered by the finance department is concerning. Communication has also been less than satisfactory and untimely. Despite my attempts to resolve this issue pleasantly, the calls when being redirected to the finance department kept going to voicemail and when I was finally able to talk to someone the email replies always took a long time and required me to send multiple emails before getting a response. Now it has been 2 days and 2 emails to them but still not response. This was not to mention the car itself (2022 c300) had many issues with the suspension, tires, rims, and sensors that I had to get repaired myself (almost all out of my own pocket). I wanted to love my experience with Bell Mitsubishi, but the post sale service is horrible and has left a lot to be desired. More

Was trying to work out a deal and get final numbers in place before going to dealership. We have 2 days a week off. Unfortunately Tiffene could not provide the numbers to us as she said Bell Mitsubishi refused to allow that. That makes no sense and seems kind of dishonest. Every dealership I have spoken to has provided numbers so there was no waste of time except Bell. I do not understand why Tiffene’s sales manager would refuse. How would they sell a vehicle to someone out of state that wanted to have car shipped to them? Would Bell refuse their business too? Edit.. received an email saying “We can give you numbers on Monday , just not Saturdays” … again that makes no sense… so if I had gone to the dealership and spent hours on my Saturday off they would not give numbers and allow the purchase? Edit: This dealership is a mess… I was asked to call the owner due to a problem about an out the door pricing discussion being met with resistance. When I call the owner, they do not even remember responding to me and just pass off the call to a sales manager of some sorts. At that point the manager blatantly lies saying due to privacy purposes they are not allowed to provide an out the door quote. That was a flat out lie. The law states: 5. Is all the information that I obtain in con- nection with financing or leasing a car covered by the Privacy Rule? In general, the Privacy Rule covers personal information you obtain in the course of fi nancing or leasing a car for personal, family, or household use. However, it doesn’t cover: G personal information obtained in the course of a sale that you don’t help to finance (e.g., where the individual secured his own financing or paid in cash); G sales figures that don’t contain personal information; and G general retail sales data that isn’t derived from information about how individuals financed or leased their cars. Literally says However, it doesn’t cover: sales figures that don’t contain personal information; and I don’t know if they blatantly lied because I am a female and they think females are too stupid to know when they are being lied to, or if it is just their M.O… The reviews on Google and yelp are not good.. the majority are negative due to the fact once you get there they add on thousands in fees not listed anywhere on their website or in their fine print when the numbers are put in their calculator… i thought these kind of tactics were in violation of laws and regulations the state of NJ put in place because of this very kind of behavior.
