The vehicle was fully inspected by a licensed technician prior to the vehicle being sent out for delivery and the condition of the vehicle was without any mechanical or safety issues. This is a 10 year old vehicle and it is impossible to predict if or when you can get a mechanical failure. Unfortunately this happened on the way to Trail. Our driver contacted us from the road to advise us that the check engine light had come on. We instructed him to take it to the nearest GM dealer which was Castlegar. They looked at it and scanned it. They shared with us that the codes brought up a problem with the variable cam timing sensor. We asked if it was ok to drive it to trail and were advised that it would be no problem. I asked Aziz to call you immediately and advise you of the situation which he did. Upon arrival at your home, our driver advised you of exactly what the diagnosis of the vehicle was. We also shared with you that we would cover the cost of the repair. You paid for the vehicle and accepted delivery. Our drivers were prepared to bring the vehicle back if you were not in agreement to take delivery. A few days later, you reached out to your sales person Gajraj and expressed how unhappy you were with the purchase and that you wanted to bring back the vehicle. We advised you that we would either repair it or exchange it. The agreed upon date was September 26th. On September 26th Gajraj called you to confirm your arrival and your husband advised him that the vehicle was running fine and that you were going to keep it. The repair as diagnosed by the GM dealer in Castlegar is not a replacement of the engine but a replacement of a sensor. I did in fact drive the vehicle after you left yesterday and can confirm that the vehicle has a loss of power at initial acceleration which does seem to match up with the diagnosis. We had advised you on more than one occasion to take the vehicle to the Gm dealership and have the vehicle repaired at our cost. Once again, we are willing to cover the cost of the repair of the vehicle or exchange the vehicle for the full value of what you paid for it.

First thing Aziz called me and said it has a minor problem. He hide the fact that it has variable cam timing sensor problem but that minor problem it that serious that can cause accident on road. Literally I was taking left turn and on coming vehicle was about to hit me because it is stalled on left turn. I thank god that she hit her break right on time. Vehicle stalls whenever you approach intersection I took it to my nearest GM dealership in trail, they say it is dangerous to drive this vehicle, it need whole engine replacement. I am ok if you are willing to cover the cost of engine replacement? Still one thing keep coming up: IS THIS CORRECT TO SELL A CAR WITH ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ON TO A CUSTOMER? YOU ARE PLAYING WITH PEOPLE LIFE AND MONEY You guys are being so negligent IF THAT ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON YOUR WAY TO DROP THIS VEHICLE TO MY DOORSTEP YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT VEHICLE BACK TO YOUR DEALERSHIP.
