This is our 2nd vehicle purchased from this dealership (1st on was a new Kia in '08, This was a used Hyundai). I've rated the experience as bad only because from the moment I stepped foot onto the lot and (1st on was a new Kia in '08, This was a used Hyundai). I've rated the experience as bad only because from the moment I stepped foot onto the lot and was approached by the salesperson, I felt like every used car sales gimmick was being thrown at me. I never once felt like the company wanted my business, only my money and a sold car statistic. On day one, I sat with the sales guy, let them examine my trade in and asked him to put some numbers down and I'll follow up in a couple of days. Two days later when I came in to sit with the rep, nothing had been done. No so much as writing the sticker price of the car down on a piece of paper. During negotiations the sales person asked me what price I wanted for the new car and my trade in, three times he asked with each time i responded "you tell me what you can do". Each time he would get up, disappear for a while, then return empty handed and dumbfounded. To the sales persons credit, I understand hes only been with the company a short time and has almost next to no experience in this field, however it tells you something when during the sale you feel like getting up and moving to the desk to the left because you can tell that sales guy knows whats going on. Ours had no clue about the car, Its features, any of its history, or any negotiation skills. Very salesman 101. My sale did transfer to the sales manager and at that point I felt we could move forward however even his tactics felt suspect. It was only at at the end of negotiations, once everything was settled and prices agreed upon, was it disclosed to me that the vehicle I was interested in had been involved in an accident. Pulling me out into the lot to disclose this felt like he was trying to cover/hide his mistake or prevent something, either a scene or display of the like. I purchased the car regardless of the accident and on signing day, was basically left sitting alone at the sales desk for the majority of the 2 1/2 hours i was there, waiting to sign the documents (twice because the first time the sales agreement was drafted wrong according to their boss) First time I was offered a coffee from sales guy was during one of these long pauses when i inquired about the stack of `dealerrater.ca`cards on his desk. Laughable! Did i get a good deal on the car, and fair value for my trade in? I think so otherwise I wouldn't have completed the deal. But at the end of the day I 'm also looking for a business that feels honest, straightforward, radiates integrity and one where i wouldn't hesitate to bring back repeat business( repairs and/or sales) or refer future business. This Kia dealership isn't it. ***UPDATE*** Further to the above, there were a few other details in which I had to follow up repeatedly with the dealer. However Tony did provide me the opportunity to sit with him and listened attentively to my concerns, assuring me my experience was a singularity. I thank Tony for the gesture, and wish him and Georgetown Kia well in the future. More

Saw car online and made just drove in without appointment. Tom met me and drove me to location where car was (they have 2 lots). After impressive test drive, wrote deal. I wanted to delay deliver appointment. Tom met me and drove me to location where car was (they have 2 lots). After impressive test drive, wrote deal. I wanted to delay delivery and there was no problem with that. Rob and Tom gave a good trade-in value and Michelle was great with the paperwork. I'd definitely return and actually have steered my brother their way for his next car and he's in Kitchener. More

My wife and I were in a hurry to buy a used car and had sent e-mails to 3 potential dealers. Kia Georgetown (Bryce Macdonald) was the only one to follow up within 24 hours. The efforts to accommodate our sent e-mails to 3 potential dealers. Kia Georgetown (Bryce Macdonald) was the only one to follow up within 24 hours. The efforts to accommodate our schedule and to deliver the car quickly were great and the reception was very friendly. When some papers were left unsigned,, Bryce even drove all the way to Toronto in a snowstorm to meet me to sign the papers. IF the Georgetown dealership was any closer to our home in Markham, we would have the car serviced there all the time... we may still do that. Thank you for the total team effort (Bryce, RobTasi and Wayne Walker) More

Professional, friendly and committed. Brendalee went above and beyond to get me financing. I had been previously denied approval at another dealership and was certain that I would not be approved.
